Denny’s

This location is really clean and the food is outstanding let me tell you about the customer service it’s incredibly excellent I mean every few minutes he’s checking up on me filling up the water asking how the food was now that’s what you call customer service and this is by far the best location I have been to for a late night restaurant you will not regret it tod was waiter and we’re very pleased

I got the Santa fe skillet. Majority of it was only potatoes, a little sausage, and small piece of green pepper. They should actually call it the Santa Potatoe Skillet. I’m not one to send food back but I probably should have.
Employees are nice but food isn’t worth coming here.

There costumer service is what helped me raise it up two a four, when it comes to food just right were its suppose to be I love there blueberry pancakes.

I go to their Denny’s in Lakeside all the time. Service is great. Can’t say that about this place. They place is not busy at all and had to wait to be seated 10 mins. Then sat at table another 10 mins before someone came to table. I’ve got children and doesn’t make for a good experience.

My family decided to eat here last min. our food was good but more importantly our server Manny was excellent. He was on top of everything from bringing refills on our soda to checking up on us just enough. he is one of the best servers in s.d.this coming from a food server myself… thanks Manny

My husband and I just got back home from our few hour trip to Denny’s, where we got some work done and ate. Our server Junior G was just awesome and so were the cooks ! The food was great and not scrappy at all. That means a lot to a pregnant person and a hungry man! Our server respected our space yet was very kind and engaging at the same time.

Todd is the most awesome waiter at denny’s he always there to serve us right when we walk in the door after a long night of drinking in the bar. He is quick with his service and prompt with our orders. Love you Todd

The food was okay, it’s Denny’s. But the employees should remember, customers sitting at the counter can see quite a bit of the food prep. Straightening up the food on a plate with your bare fingers is less than appetizing let alone sanitary. Wiping off the ketchup refill bottle with your finger then wiping it on a napkin? Why not use the napkin to wipe the container instead?

I get the same value meals all the time in the same trays. This place is unorganized. My friends tell me to go to main street but I come here. Time after time they mess up when I only order only two meals. I do this religiously. I feel like they are flustered or something. I would recommend a different location. This place seems to be overwhelmed every morning. The way they served my food was different. They had the special trays and put everything in one tray lime I was a dog or something. I would not serve anyone this way. My pancakes were on the eggs. I am done with Denny’s. The girl told her to fix my order correctly and she act like it was no problem. I called to complain and the same person picked up and said she was a manager. I can not believe this place.

Had lunch here today. There were nats all over the wall by our booth. Service was very slow (not our server mind you). It was busy I understand it took 25 min to even order. They were out of the dressing I ordered. The cups they have advertised for kids they have none of in stock, just generic ones. Overall terrible experience.

Worse service in a long time. I had to keep asking to fill my drink and it was really slow. The workers are just standing around talking to one another. After sitting at our table for an hour the waitress asks us if we need anything. Still didn’t get a refill. Wtf! What happen to good customer service!!!

Gail was great. Everything was eggcellent.
We won 3 balls. We laughed, we cried & then ate some breakfast for dinner. Because when there is a full blood moon, sometimes you need to eat moons over my hammy & then everything is okay. Please & thank you, come again.

My son and i went to dennys in elcajon to eat but we ended leaving because the waiter was to busy talking for at least 30mins they see us there came over asked us if we want anything to drink ordered ice tea the lemon on the side of the glass looked like someone bite it it was sicken we just left

Dennys is Dennys, and in this case our neighbors, we love going up there for kids night on Tuesdays with the family. And the mointian views are heartwarmimg.

Stacy is the best me & my boyfriend always come in & get served by her ! She’s super friendly & is always on top of it !! We will definitely be coming back !!

This Denny’s location is amazing ! EVERYONE here is SOOOOO welcoming and friendly. We come here almost every other day and we have never experienced any Bad customer service. I wish I knew everyone’s name to list them but I only know Todd and Daniel. always so polite. And OFCOURSE we never had any problem with our food. Always tasty and fresh!

This is the best Denny’s around! I live closer to another one, but prefer to drive here because the customer service and food is always so excellent! My husband and I usually go early in the mornings for breakfast. We spend around $ 20 for two meals and two drinks. Not bad at all. Todd M, is our normal server. He has always been very efficient, extremely polite and professional. Thank you Todd for always going above and beyond! We truly appreciate your outstanding customer service!

Best one I’ve ever been to… the service was quick, the staff was very polite. and the food not to bad! My daughter and I wanted something half way decent, and not to pricey. I had been so disappointed with the other Denny’s I had been to in the past, so I suggested this one. I was right on! Would come back to this on in a heart beat!

I give them 5 stars all because of the great customer services! I came in with my buddy at 1:00am at night. The restaurant was surprisingly busy for this time at night. The waiter we had Todd was very very friendly and very attentive. I don’t think I saw any other employee in the restaurant other than the cook. Todd had at least 10 table across the restaurant and made time for everyone. He was running around the whole time. I wish more restaurants had employees like him! Thanks for the great customer service Todd!

I ordered a bunch of stuff then I bounced 5 or so min later. Reasons why was:
1. The dude doing the customer service was rude. And tried to brush me off more than once. Why? Because according to him «I’m just getting to go, I’m not that important.» The guy who came In after me was actually pretty cool and threw it in the dudes face after he said that; that I was here before and I should go. I didn’t do anything cause I wanted to see how far his stupidity goes. I’m patient to a certain point. Well and I’m sneaky.
2. So, when this guy reluctantly took my order. He had an attitude about it. He said the meal came with fries. I asked him if it came with a drink. «No… it comes with fries!». He said it like I made it up to piss him off lol. Such an open chin shot, you don’t even know. Any who. I order another combo but switch up some things.
3. He then helps other people there and takes down their order on paper. He never took my order down on paper. I already knew. So I watched him, never did he do it. Or go over to the area to tell my order. But he does go and get his flirt on with some girls at the table. One who was starring at me…
Anyways nada so after 5 – 10 min I bounced. I ordered almost $ 30 in food. Next time treat your customers right. Whether dine in or carry out.
