Absolutely LOVE sushi town and the friendly staff. At the moment my favorite roll on the menu is the«crazy dragon» We visit Sushi town often and we always have a great experience !

I personally really like this place, I’ve eaten at almost every«fancy» sushi bar and this place doesn’t stay far behind. They offer more than sushi as well such as hibachi styled steak, menu is pretty diverse and fairly priced. It’s mostly for take out but you can sit inside to eat its just nothing fancy. Godzilla rolls are a must try!

The only place i will go to for sushi while in Jersey. Most places get you in with cheep prices and large amounts of nothing but, this place is where you go for the taste. Love it.

I’m always craving for authentic Japanese Shrimp Tempura and I guess this is the best place for it!

Great, family owned, small sushi restaurant. The dining area is rather small, so it’s not ideal for a large group. The place has fairly decent sushi at awesome prices. I love coming here for the lunch specials. Definitely a great sushi dive!

This sushi bar is set up more like a takeout establishment versus an eat in restaurant. It is not very inviting in fact I thought of leaving quickly. I placed a small order to try the place out. the fish in the refrigerator unit at the sushi bar all look old and drying out see my picture. Thankfully though he doesn’t use that fish I don’t know where he keeps it but he came out with some nice fresh salmon. I had the gyosa and a number of different sushi roles and sashimi. it turned out to be pretty good although very mainstream in that there’s nothing spectacular or different on the menu. so I give it a three because the food was okay and the place is a dive

I came here many times with my co-workers for both sit-down and take-out lunch. They have matcha tea, which is a plus. Their sushi lunches are great deals, but they just put way too much rice on their sushi. I end up getting half a bowl of rice after peeling some rice off the rolls. They have a hibachi lunch special as well, which isn’t too bad. The only thing I have issues with is the plastic bowls they serve even when sitting down the eat. All in all, decent place for quick sushi to take out. But if you sit down, don’t expect great service. There are only 2 tables with a little wrap around sushi bar with a few chairs. You may also end up smelling a little like Chinese take out upon leaving.

It was great! A little hole in the wall type of place– two tables and chairs at the sushi bar. Four out of four family members really liked it! The rolls and sushi were really good and fresh. Our server was really nice. We’ll stop by again when coming back from the shore!

Hubby had the sushi platter and thought it was very good…“quite yummy” were his exact words. I had the hibachi shrimp bento box which had 6 shrimp, vegetables, 2 deep fried shu mei, and fried rice(which i thought was a little over soy sauced) overall. we would eat here again.

Really enjoyed our meal here! We ordered sushi and sashimi deluxe entrees — which included a free ginger salad and miso soup. The soup was delicious and the salad was cold, crisp and fresh. Absolutely all you could ask for! Additionally, the sushi was fresh and quality. No imitation crab sticks here — just nice generous cuts of delicious tuna, salmon, yellow tail, white tuna and a white fish. Service was polite, prompt and the pricing was more then fair! They were happy to make small substitutions without any question and we really enjoyed everything we ate. Thank you again!

This is probably the only nearby sushi place I go to once in a while. I say this is an average sushi place. I will admit the area its in has awful parking, and it is tight. Anyway the service is alright and the food is not so bad. My only complaint would be it is somewhat overpriced for each 6 rolls of sushi(that’s 1 order). I have been to places where you would get more out of the price. They have great variety though. As I said before its quite average.

Ok, first looks can be deceiving. Sushi Town is not your get dressed up to dining location nor is it an impress a first date option if looks matter. The good news when it comes to dining out is that looks don’t matter and this hole in the wall sushi bar brings you everything that matters! My warning is … It is small inside but very clean. The service is always outstanding! Smiles are the order of the day whether you are eating in or taking out. There are great lunch specials but don’t miss the board to see what special rolls the sushi chef is creating! They have all the classic Japanese extras like bento boxes, tempura, and teriyaki! Their miso soup is oh so good, always hot, and filled with little building blocks of tofu! The fish is fresh … The rolls artistically presented as sushi should be! Just a great place to enjoy a good meal!

I love sushi so much that I usually save myself for a sushi buffet to go all out and stuff myself with as much sushi as I possibly can! But sometimes you want to treat yourself to more special rolls that you can’t find at buffets such as the volcano roll. And Kani salads in buffets are never satisfying. That’s where sushi town comes in! I can even customize my volcano roll to include salmon instead of tuna without a problem. And their Kani salad is great! They have a special deal on Mondays and I definitely take advantage of it! This is a small, mainly take out place with good and fast service and really great, fresh tasting sushi! Yay!

We’ve been looking for a good sushi place ever since we moved to south jersey a few months ago, and we finally found sushi town! They have a wonderful selection of rolls and everything tastes so fresh. Butterfly rolls are my favorite– super refreshing and unique. It’s our number one choice for sushi now.

Have been coming here with friends at least once per week. Love how there are only two tables as I like a quiet atmosphere. Lately the past two dinners have been just an overall bad experience with the soups being either too salty or just gross. The spicy tuna roll isn’t spicy and too much crunch is being added! Stop that! Love the Godzilla and volcano rolls(spicy! Yum)
