I had been to this place once before and had a decent experience sitting at a table. But NEVER AGAIN!!! The other day my boyfriend and I decided to sit at the bar. We sit and the bartender Shannon doesn’t even say hello or anything with an attitude asks for our id. Like ok of course you have to card us but what’s the attitude for. I order my drink my bf still didn’t know what he wanted. So we had to ask for menus since she didn’t even bother to ask us if we wanted them. And so time goes by she completely keeps ignoring us even when my bf tries to get her attention. Luckily the sweet other bartender came up to us and helped us. So again Shannon continued with her attitude and need to ignore us. We then flag her down to tell her we were ready to order. Without a word she just picks up the menu and slams it down to stand up. What she should have said was that when you are ready just have your menu up and a server will be right with you. Places are different some have servers come to the bar and some the bartenders take the food order, so how were we supposed to know. Right then and there I was done. Drank my one beer and left to eat somewhere else. From the beginning she treated us badly for no reason. Highly disappointed and disgusted.

I come here all the time! I try to come every Thursday which is their Mexican night. $ 5 margaritas, $ 3 craft beer & awesome Mexican food. The best part … IT’S GOOD. Regardless of what night you come, you will not be disappointed. To be honest, the beer menu is what usually wins me over when deciding where to eat. They have tons of beer selection, the most I have ever seen. The staff is always so friendly!

Went here for dinner last night, and it was okay. The waitress was nice and attentive here, so customer service was well and good. The tap list and bottle list are amazing with a lot craft beers to choose from. The food was nothing to write home about. The chicken parm sandwich was okay, but not the greatest. I also was not fond of being attacked by flies. I would go back to try other food items, but definitely return for a drink!

Ok place is definitely nothing to write home about by any means. Not a young persons hang out. Good if you just want a simple burger and the game on TV and aren’t trying to find a girl to bring home with you. good place for you and the guys to come and hang if you don’t have a grill and cable at your house. Not a night club destination. More like 3 ½ stars.

First time there and tailgaters scored a touchdown
Giant rack of delicious ribs… sweet potato fries with vanilla bourbon sauce… yup no typo there… vanilla bourbon dipping sauce for the fries… and string beans with peppers and onions… also delicious.
Not to mention $ 5 three olives vodka/​redbull drink special. Most places charge you more than $ 5 for red Bull alone.
All this with a comfortable atmosphere and very friendly staff.
Unfortunately it’s almost 2 hrs away from us or we’d be back this Wednesday for 40 cents wing nite.

Stopped in for their TexMex Night and must say the chicken soft tacos were awesome. The Bam Bam shrimp never a disappoint and my wife’s Mexican pizza was very filling. $ 3 craft beers is a great thing too!

Always happy hour at tailgaters… they have a special for every day of the week, including weekends. My fiancé loves the burgers but you can’t go wrong with anything. Wraps salads appetizers burgers… good food. Nice bar atmosphere. TVs always on with sports.

For the number of years I have lived in this area, this was surprisingly my first time at this bar. This place seem like more of like a dive bar, where every seemed to know everyone and where young college students come for their weekend booze nights.
They have a good variety of beer selection, both bottled and tap; good list of craft beers. They have a decent list of sauces for their wings, but their hot buffalo weren’t so spicy, so I will try their habanero sauce next time. The wings themselves are average sized wings, but their taste were just average to me. I had a few co-​workers who recommended me the wings at this place, but I don’t really see the greatness in them.
The music is loud, but what do you expect from a bar?! As for service, we didn’t really have much interaction, but their hostess and waitress gave us what we needed: a table, food, and the check. It was quick and simple. If you want a quick beer and decent wings, or if you just want to watch the game with friends, along with some good beer choices, this would be a good local bar to be at.

I went here with a friend for lunch on a weekday. The place was slightly busy in the bar for midday but there were seats left at the tables. The first thing that hit me was the smell of wings. It was as if every person had ordered them. I didn’t mind it, but it was noticeable.
We ordered some appetizers: potato skins, nachos, and wings. For a sports bar I figured we couldn’t go wrong. The food was just as i expected it. The nachos were a bit more gigantic than I’d thought. The prices were great.
There was no bad spot to sit for watching the game which was pretty awesome for a local spot. It seems like a good place to go with friends to watch a sports game. I was very impressed with their long list of brews. They also had a convenient happy hour that comprised of most of the afternoon which was a nice surprise.
It really bothered me that this is the only place I’ve ever dined at that is known for its wings and yet there were not hand wipes for when you are finished eating. I left with sticky fingers despite the bunch of napkins I had to request – you should consider offering these to guests that order wings. Especially with bone-​in wings; they were the perfect amount of sweet and spicy for your JD sauce, but oh so messy.

Closer to a 3 ½ star rating than a 3. Tailgaters is a mixed bag of ups and downs. The food can be either really good or really bad depending on what you order. Had the Bam Bam Shrimp which I thought was very tasty. Another time I was there we got two Pizza’s to share, one was good and the other not. During another visit I got the Mussel’s which were very small and the sauce (white) wasn’t very good. I really enjoy their Greek Salad though. You may ask why I keep going back if the food is only ok. The place has a really good beer selection and it’s great for watching football. There is usually a good crowd for the games and everyone is into it. The service is a mixed bad also. The bartenders do a good job but never look like they want to be there and at times seem downright miserable. The wait staff are usually the opposite and are very friendly.

We Had a great time here with my family! From the hostess at the front door, to our server, we were impressed at everyone’s friendliness. We had the wings and the tailgater fries, both of which were yummy! The habanero sauce was super spicy! :-) the crab bisque was delish! The music was a little too country for my taste, but who cares when then have sports on the flat screen and good choice of craft brew! And the complimentary warm salty popcorn to start was a nice touch!

The drink specials are decent. Although I did not have any of the food, I hear it is pretty good. There are a few other bars in the area and this one is the least horrible of them all. I sat at the bar and my experience was good. No complaints at all with the bartender, so I will be returning once I am in the area again.

Tailgaters is a great neighborhood sports bar. The food is good & they have lots of drink specials. There is a view of one of their many TVs from almost every seat.
They even have USB ports under the bar so you can charge your phone.
They would get a 5 but there is no longer a pool table, they’re mixed drinks are a bit expensive for a local hangout and the bartenders can be a little too bitchy sometimes.

Went here for the first time last night on the way to the shore. The place was crowded but we got seated right away. Service was friendly and food came out timely. Also a pretty good beer selection. Music was a little loud but overall a good experience. We would go back.

This place never fails to be a good experience. The food is awesome & good prices. The atmosphere is perfect & the staff is so friendly! I live about 2 hours away now but whenever I am back home in south jersey I always stop by to eat here & have a few drinks. I would recommend that anyone who has not tried this place should check it out! Love it!
