Owing to health reasons, I haven’t been back at Evviva for some time, but yesterday(and to days before that!) I was finally able to return — and the place remains the standard for authentic, Italian, thin-crust pizza. The staff are hugely friendly, and the pizzas — well, this isn’t «pizza making,» this is «a chef making pizza,» a whole level higher. How many pizza places have seasonal specials? Try the pear Gorgonzola or fig prosciutto — you’ll go back for another one. i did!

Evviva has some pretty good pizza! I have had the yukon potato pizza, the gyro pizza and the pepperoni. The potato and gyro were the best — both very flavorful! The pepperoni pizza was a bit greasy though, very orange looking. Overall, I would go back again, but the prices are a bit high to make it a regular.

Amazing! Do not miss this tucked away, we drove past it twice, gem. Best pizza we’ve had maybe ever! Grown up pizza for grown up tastes.

Very good, thinner style pizza. Chewy and crunchy crust, with premium toppings available, had some good beers on tap. This is NOT a fancy place(fine with me), so have that expectation going in.

Pizza was great! Will definitely go back. Got it to go because it was a little warm in the restaurant.

The best pizza I have had in Washington and perhaps the west coast. Friendly staff, great pizza, great beer, and great tiramisu.

My favorite pizza in Edmonds baked in a brick oven and very authentic to real Italian pizza. The best is their pear Gorgonzola or fig prosciutto. This place is ten times better than any chain pizza restaurants out there. I love supporting small local businesses like this.

This is probably the best pizza place in WA! We lived in Italy for 9 months, and haven’t been able to eat the American version of pizza since… until now! It’s styled like Napoli pizza, bubbly crusts and simple ingredients. The owners are very friendly and the wood fire smells amazing! It’s a little hard to find, as there isn’t a big sign on awning of strip mall, but once you know where it is, you’ll want to go back constantly! UPDATE: We went here for Mother’s Day and my mum was telling the owner how much she loves the olives. At the end of the meal, as we were leaving, he came out and gave her a huge tub of olives! Such great customer service!

I love pizza, it’s probably my favorite food, it and tacos. This pizza is sooooo good and I’ve had a lot of pizza. I’ve had the Eva twice(my favorite) the blueberry goat cheese and the salami. The service is quick, the pizza is great, the owners are super nice, and they have everything you could want to top the pizza with. Also, they will let you do half and half on the large, which is so awesome when you are like me and like to try multiple toppings!

This place is my FAVORITE place in Edmonds. The staff/owner is really nice and the food is so fresh and delicious!!! Every time I go back, I bring someone new to try it because i feel there is a need to introduce this place to others. Always, a solid place to eat the best pizza in town. YUM!

The only reason this isn’t 5 stars is that it was $ 75 for salad, 2 drinks, and large pizza, but I will be back… truly was the best pizza around.

Amazing! I cannot believe that I have never eaten here before. Super fast, super friendly, perfectly simple and amazingly delicious! They will split large pizzas. We highly recommend the pancetta potato or prosciutto and arugula. Our two year old ate two pieces of pepperoni.

We have been here numerous times and it has always been wonderful! It’s mostly family style seating and couple lil tables, it’s a small place and fills up quick! It’s a family owned business nor some high volume pizza joint and sometimes you have to wait lil bit for your pie when they are slammed… but it’s definitely worth it. They use lots of local and organic ingredients as well… love that.

Jim P., Unilocal Legend, and the considerably-older brother I’ve yet to meet, sent me here on a mission. Did he give me a choice? No. I didn’t even want a choice; I wanted wood-fired pizza. I told my girlfriend to be ready, and she got together the horse and carriage, I got my saber, my fife– and in glory we rode to Edmonds! Dismounting and securing our horses in the finest of stables, we noticed the humble setting in which we had found ourselves. What was this? A strip mall? Yes, my friends. We have, in the past, found rare, Aladdin-esque gems, ifrit and djinn of great power, as well as more obscure wonders in the most modest of places. Our expectations were, as a result, not darkened by this revelation. Through the doors we went. The tables were long, as if they knew a king had been expected. What if some commoner had happened into this place? They would find these massive tables most unseemly. I, however, was pleased that my retinue had space to gnaw at the leavings I disdainfuly tossed their way. Behind the counter waited just one figure. He needed no assistance. He took orders, exchanged money, and baked pizza without the slightest succor. How someone can live without even a single personal assistant is quite beyond my comprehension. How they can manage to bake quality wood-fired pizza without even one person to hurl abuse at is even more unclear to me. The toppings were delicious(I ordered some kind of three meat pizza whose name I don’t recall because, lets face it, names just aren’t worth the effort), the crust was smoky, game for a fight, and alternately thick and thin in the right places like a fine, sensual lady. The sauce, in my estimation, was generously, but not excessively applied. I will say, however, that it didn’t devastate me. This place, overall, was above-average. I would, without hesitation, recommend it, and I am glad that I can still be friends with Jim.

A bit of the splurge but well worth it. Ingredients of the highest quality and I know it’s pizza. But not just your run of the mill pizza. Calabrese sausage, sun dried tomatoes imported from Turkey and Gelato by the pint! Tiramisu heaven. Blueberry goat cheese? YES please! We will be back!

Have been here twice now. Talk about a tasty pizza with just the right amount of everything for toppings. They have a blueberry goat cheese pizza that is to die for. An interesting flavor of sweet and tangy with a garlic undertone. I’ve also had the pepperoni pizza as well. The ingredients are well above average and all very delish. The salads are fresh and flavorful as well. I had a caesar and it had the perfect amount of dressing and the lettuce was nice and fresh — May seem weird to say that but I’ve had quite a few crappy salads in my time. Someone said the owner(?) is smug or something. I disagree. He’s curt and just friendly enough to leave you alone and enjoy your guest. There’s nothing wrong with curt and to the point.

This place«never» disappointing. Great for families, riders coming off or going on the Edmonds/Kingston Ferry as a great stop. Woodfired pizza is the best and the simplicity of the types is great. Buon apetito

Had dinner here and I have to say it’s a great place for wood fired pizza. We had the Carne and the Chicken Pesto Pizza and they where fantastic. My favorite was the Carne becase I was so impressed with the home made sausage. The crust was thin the way I like it and cooked a little crispy to my taste. The bonus was the Ayinger Oktoberfest beer on tap which is my favorite beer from my time in Munich during the real Oktoberfest. I will definately visit the next time I’m in Edmonds. It’s a simple restaurant and the staff is friendly, as well as, informative which just made the entire experience that much better.
