I just toured this preschool, and my son absolutely loved it. He cried when we were about to leave. The teacher/owner of this school was very warm & caring. I will definitely enroll my children when the youngest is 2.5 years old.

My wife and I were looking for a new daycare for our 2 ½ year old and decided to visit Appleseed School. The daycare is located at the end of a cul-de-sac in the basement of a home. Roxanne, the school director, was very welcoming and took us on a tour of the school. The facilities were well kept and clean and consists of 2 large rooms(1 carpeted room and 1 kitchen/classroom), a bathroom, and an outdoor play area. There were a lot of educational toys and activities set up around each classroom and our son did not hesitate to dive in and start playing with things. We noticed that Roxanne interacted well with him while also tending to another child that had already arrived. A few of her other kids started arriving while we were visiting and it was impressive that each child that came in was very well-mannered and seemed to really be happy to be there. Roxanne had each child wash their hands before coming in to the classroom and she seemed to have a very motherly connection to each child. All of that being said, my wife and I decided to go with a daycare that was closer to where we live. However, Appleseed School was very high on our list and we would definitely consider taking our son here if we were to ever move closer.

This is a warm, friendly, play centered daycare/preschool that my child loves. Ages 2 – 5 with 8 children max. The teacher, Roxanne, is incredibly experienced in early childhood education, she is communicative and the kids love being there. I highly recommend this preschool in Edmonds.
