Urban Retreat

After researching different reviews for salons (and there wasn’t too many!) I came across this salon when I was walking around downtown Broadway. I decided to contact them to ask if they used Prevana– which to my delight, they did! I had emailed other salons near me and this salon was the only one who really was interested in my questions and answering them accordingly– thanks Eren! After explaining that I just moved here and what I was wanting, Eren recommended Monica for me.
When I arrived for my appointment, I did not have to wait, I was seen right away by Monica. Monica was very friendly and approachable and was very excited to work with the colors I had chose. I was very pleased with my overall cut and color.
The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because when I spoke to Rachel (receptionist) about confirming my appointment, I wanted to verify the colors they had in stock– so that it was readily available for my appointment. She told me not to worry, that Monica would have the color and if not– another stylist would have it. Well, as it turns out, they did not have1 out of the 3 colors I use– so I was a little disappointed with that– especially since I had asked about it prior to my appointment.
I have another appointment with them in November and Monica said that this time, they would have all the colors for me, so I’m looking forward to my next visit.
