Good sushi. I got the 911 roll which was indicated with 2 spicy icons, but I did not find spicy at all. The Nihnja poppers were notated as «salmon filled rice balls tempura fried»… I would say small salmon center, but the consistence and flavor were good! Very quick and fresh. I’ll go back.

Definitely a good option for fresh, quick Asian food. I really enjoyed the trendy atmosphere and learning that it was a family business. The food was good and the staff was friendly and fast.

Both of my rolls(yellow tail, and rainbow) tasted fishy and the edamame was squishy and overcooked. My sisters meal of tempura sushi and the fried rice was pretty good though. I guess when you come here you just need to pick wisely. Also don’t expect a nice warm and cozy dining experience the ambiance is modern, and cold. I would only get take out if I ate here again.

This place is our«go-to» restaurant when we’re wanting some quick sushi. The Thunder roll is a favorite, along with the Geisha. Service is usually pretty good, and it’s always fast. It’s not the BEST sushi, however for the time and price, it keeps us coming back! Their chicken fried rice is also a winner. It’s a huge plate that you could probably split or take home. They serve a few beers and have a good menu variety over all. I also really like their online ordering– it’s always a good addition to see the menu right then and order.

Usually love both locations, but I’m going to have to leave today. The smell is really strong and nauseating.

Not bad sushi for a quick lunch. Didn’t care for the egg drop soup, however. They have some locally themed dishes that are actually worth getting.

Pleased. The sushi is OKAY. Not great, not terrible. The lo mein is really good, as are the egg rolls! And I haven’t had the General Taos’s chicken, but it looks really great! Portions are pretty good, too, for the price. A nice clean environment, and always a pleasant trip.

The couple of times I’ve ordered raw fish(spicy ahi), it wasn’t that fresh. You can definitely tell. I moved here from Hawaii, so I do hold sushi to a higher standardThere’s only one place in Edmond that ships there fish directly from Hawaii overnight. This place isn’t bad– as long as you stick with nothing raw. The California roll and Tempura roll are my go to orders when eating here.

Wasn’t too impressed. Ordered spring rolls & they came out on a plastic tray served with a pound of grease. Asked for more wasabi, never received it.

Above average Sushi, kinda pricey but hey, what do you expect, it’s Edmond. Our first choice for Sushi near home.

I’ve lived down the street from Nhinja Wok for almost 3 years, and finally, tonight I gave it a try. Sushi in a land-locked state makes me a little leery, especially after getting food poisoning at another sushi place down the street. But tonight, I had a hankering and gave Nhinja Wok a try. When you walk in, it’s obvious that the place is immaculately clean. Shiny white counter tops plus great lighting from the big windows equals a very modern feel. It didn’t smell fishy(I’ve learned that you don’t want sushi places to smell fishy), so it was definitely a go. I ordered 2 rolls — 1 rainbow and 1 firecracker. The firecracker wasn’t as spicy as I would’ve liked or thought it was going to be judging from the menu’s description, but dabs of wasabi quickly helped that problem along. The rainbow roll was a little too bland for my liking, but that’s what soy sauce and wasabi are for. The rolls were good though — the rice was the right consistency and they were well made that I was able to eat them easily with chopsticks without the pieces falling apart. The idea of a «fast food» sushi place is neat. My food came out within 5 minutes, which made my hungry tummy very happy. The sushi was good, while not phenomenal, but for a place like this, I’m ok with that. I know I’ll definitely be making more stops in the future.

Very clean and very efficient. I think it is very unique to have a fast-casual sushi restaurant in town. It’s a much preferred by us to stop in here and choose their food over fast food. They have Ramune(the Japanese soda with the marble stopper) in a myriad of flavors, as well as a cooler full of water, soda, beer, wine and a soda fountain. You can dine in or to go. I usually dine in, get my number, have a seat and my appetizer is already on it’s way. I like their apps and I like their miso soup. Sushi is pretty good, comes out fast. I usually get the 24 or 36(?) piece samplers if I have a friend with me. The Lo mein noodles I don’t think I would order again but the other wok dishes are quite good. They do an excellent job catering and would highly recommend them for large group catering as well. I’d be hard pressed to find a fast casual place to compare to their efficiency and consistency with food and customer service so I decided to go up from 4 stars to 5. Good job, Nhinja!

Best sushi joint I have come across since I have moved here from california. Everything tastes fresh and a clean atmosphere. The prices are a tad high but I don’t mind paying for freshness rather then rubber like at other places. If you are in the mood for sushi try here !!!

Nhinja is less than a block from my work and I have been twice now. They offer a swell keep it local discount and lots of sushi, noodles and rice bowls. This is the kind of restaurant where you order in line and you’re given a number to place on your table. In my experience here, my food as come out fairly quickly. I have gotten the vegetable noodle bowl both times and they have been consistently tasty. However, I have felt both times like I needed to add something to the noodles to flavor them up a tad. This is quite a hefty meal for a mere $ 6 so I really should eat here more often because I’ve had more than enough to take for leftovers both times. I can’t comment on their sushi but I can say that business has been very slow both times I’ve come in. I will most likely come back in for a quick and cheap lunch!

The sushi was delicious, well prepared served on a dish you would find at a finer sushi restaurant. I’ve driven past this establishment a number of times and had a few minutes to blow so I thought I’d give it a go. I had no idea what to expect. The décor is «fast food» style and the menu is lacking in comparison to other sushi places. The young men taking the orders and delivering the food mumble terribly and were not the least bit friendly. With that said, the sushi itself was good and I was pleasantly surprised. I might go back on a whim but this is definitely not a place for an intimate date night.

This is a counter service /«quick» service sushi place! I’ve never been to a sushi place with that theme. I liked it. A little less pricey than your normal«sit down» style sushi place. The quality is a little lower too but I think that is by design. You can get good, quick sushi here. Great for a week night meal for anyone. But this idea is great for business travelers like me. They have beer and other alcohol too. I’ll remember that for next time.

I’m trying very very hard to earn the Unilocal sushi badge. If you’re wondering, I still don’t have it :( After my dress appointment in Edmond, I decided to look for a sushi place nearby. Nhinja sushi. A play on words because the owner’s last name is Nhin. Add the«ja» and you have a word that sounds like ninja! Ahhhh, get it?! The rows of Japanese style pop lining the windows was enough for me to test this place out. The décor is hyper mod. Very clean looking because of the white furniture, which… Btw is sort of confusing. For being a place named after a ninja you would think that maybe the décor would reflect darker colors, but what do I know. The menu had a variety of entrees that have Japanese and Chinese influences. You can get a noodle or rice dish if you aren’t a fan of raw fish and sushi rolls. Staff members are pretty nice. I’m on a «lunch must be under $ 10 budget.» I couldn’t decide on a roll or dish that sounded appetizing. If the roll didn’t have cream cheese in in, it had some sweet or spicy sauce on it. Not really my cup of tea. I almost walked out, but I didn’t. So, I ordered the Spider roll– 7 pieces for $ 6.95. I felt it was on the smallish side. Also, the soft shell crab tempura wasn’t very crunchy. The rice wasn’t special. Conclusion? I should have looked at the menu before I walked in.
