We live in Brooklyn, and are finishing up two bathroom renovations. We shopped around most of the tile stores in Brooklyn and Staten Island, were very overwhelmed, could not find what we were looking for, and couldn’t get any personalized attention. That all changed one Saturday when we were in NJ, and browsing Unilocal for tile stores in the area. We found Marco and Ideal Tile of Edison. Marco spent over two hours with us on our first visit, and many more hours with us as we drove from Brooklyn to Edison several weekends in a row, was extremely patient with us, helped us brainstorm the entire layout of each bathroom, spoke with our contractor to explain the design, was available for any follow up phone calls. We were extremely impressed with his level of professionalism and top-​notch customer service.

Ideal Tile — Great job!
Having never taken on a kitchen remodeling project (tile floor, counter top, and backsplash), we were unsure how or where to start. Upon our first visit to the showroom Marco was patient and informative as he guided us through the process and the enormous number of options. We stopped at other stores but never got the same good vibe we enjoyed at Ideal. The installation team was great as well. They showed up on time, were professional and completed the project on schedule and budget. The workmanship is outstanding and has garnered many complements. Thank you Marco, Vincent and the installation team!

We bought kitchen tile from Ideal Tile of Fairfield. Vince really knows his stuff. We had visited several other establishments before we went to him and they were okay, but we were still stumped. We got there at closing time and he could have blown us off, but he didn’t. He was helpful and listened and literally within 10 minutes of being there we had found what we were looking for. I would highly recommend him. Great store.

The service and selection at Ideal Tile in Edison is the best in the area. We visited several other locations and Vince and Marco both provided us with top notch service. They also solved another grout color issue for us from a prior tile installation. They were the only educated tile dealers to provide us for an explanation as to why our charcoal grout appeared much lighter. Too much water used by the installation tech. I will recommend Ideal Tile to all of our friends with home projects in the future.

I went to Ideal Tile of Edison looking for tile, granite counter and back splash. It’s a family run business and the 2 brothers helped me through every step of the way. First we picked out the tile. Then we chose the granite which consisted of picking the color and quality slab. I have a long counter and I was concerned of that the seam would show. They assured me I wouldn’t even see it. They held true to their words. We then chose the back splash which took sometime but they were very patient and helped me in my final decision. There installation came out flawless. I will always recommend Ideal Tile of Edison.

Wow two lazy sons took over this business. They have no sales ability and lost a $ 1000 sale because of it. They will be out of business if they do not get their act together.
