We recently had an issue with some items being left in a loaner car that had been loaned out again. Bell Audi made worked with us in a very quick fashion to get the items returned to us. They even sent a drive to pick up the equipment. We had our stuff back within an hour.

Ever since I laid eyes on the A4, I had affection to it. Its styling, its handling, Z’German backed performance had caught my eye. Sadly, I am one of many, dissatisfied owners. It all began in September 2008 when the car was purchased. The look and feel of the new design with the slick LED light’s, was the new must have. After a test drive and 3 hours of negotiations:

Then the downfall began, but little did I know that this was the beginning of the fall of faith in Audi and those who back the «truth in engineering» because it’s as true as Smeagol’s eagerness to help Frodo Baggins to destroy that retched ring (in this case 4) into the flames of Mordor.
Around February 21^st, 2009 I had the oil light come on and it said to add a quart. Now, I am pretty in tune with cars, and I figure that this was no big deal. I went to an auto store and picked up the oil the car needed (5W40). I got home and after the car had cooled, I added the oil and drove around a bit. It still said add another quart. So I did. Now I got the notification that the car had too much oil. Now these new cars are pretty advanced and do not come with a dipstick (that’s too old school). So now, I had to drain some oil out to prevent any damage to this brand new car. So I jacked up the car, took out the under guard and emptied out some oil. Not even half a quart (yes, I measured). Now, I lowered the car and got the notification that I need to add a quart of oil. Instead of jacking up the car again, I figured I’d drive to the dealership where I bought the car (Bell Audi, 782 U.S. 1, Edison, NJ 8 817) this is 45−1hr away from me. NJ Traffic is a lot of fun! There I meet Jonathan K, I explain my situation and he tells me to have a seat while they take a look. They change the oil and filter and I was told to come back at 5k to perform the actual 5k. Now at this point the car has 2,985 miles on it.
On July 25, 2009, they perform the 5k service (I have the Audi Care Plan), but this is complimentary for all Audi owners, which consists of an oil and filter change. I get my tired rotated also. Mileage: 4,836.
On November 9^th, 2009 I have to bring the car back because I have put in 4quarts of oil in the last 3,000 miles. Now since Audi uses full synthetic oil, oil changes are done every 10k miles after the first 5k. Essentially, I am changing my oil fully in less than 5k miles. Technically my oil is changed 3 times in an interval, because that makes perfect sense in any non-​leaking engine. So they perform a consumption test. Part 1 to be a little more specific and I am told to return in 1k miles. Mileage: 11,749
On January 11^th, 2010 I return to Mordor… uhhhh…I mean Bell Audi. They perform test 2, I was told that «Engine is burning the right amount of oil per manufacturers spec». Now, in my family, we have had the following cars: Ford, Honda, Toyota, BMW, GMC, VW, Isuzu and maybe a couple more that I can’t think of right now and we have never had to change the oil this many times. January 27^th, 2010. I get my 15k service done. Mileage: 14,998
May 7^th, 2010. I have to bring the car in to Bell again. This time my lock button on my driver side door keeps coming off, they have to order it from Germany and I have to come back. I also mention that there is this god awful smell coming from the fan/​AC Unit, very noticeable after the AC is switched off. They offer to perform maintenance on it, charging some obscene amount to take off the rain tray and clean it from leafs and twigs that somehow manage to get under the hood and inside the rain guard. May 27^th, 2010. The Door switch comes in and is replaced. I am still having issues with my oil levels. Mileage: 18,531.
February 18^th, 2011. I come in to get my 25k service done. I have a bubble in my tired. That needs to be replaced. I get a new tire and have an alignment done. (This is my second bubble) The first tire was replaced at 2k miles at my own expense. This time I had the Tire package. Mileage: 21,546. Part 2 to Follow.

We waited quite a while for a salesman. Unfortunately, when our salesman found out we were there for a value priced first car for our teenage daughter, he wasn’t very enthusiastic In fact, he basically left us out in the cold, and told us to come and get him if we wanted to see anything else Didn’t ask for any information, or offer to call if other cars came in Just ran off like a child Other dealers on Rt 1 were far more helpful and our daughter is thrilled with her choice. Your loss Audi.

Quite poor service. Focused on fleecing unsuspecting customers with expensive repairs. Had the car there for oil change, said needed new tires and breaks and quoted $ 1700. Declined to do it. They returned the car and we noticed an engine noise after that. Took it to them again, they said it they will fix it for $ 2000 as the car was not under warranty anymore. Incidentally, the car was covered a few weeks ago when we took it for oil change. Suspect the defect was purposefully introduced. Quite disappointed with the low brow tactics in a high end dealership.
