Robyn Mitchell is by far the BEST bar tender I’ve ever had the opportunity to be around. I stayed at this hotel for 3 weeks, and the quality of the hotel and staff were great, but because of Robyn, it makes the reputation of this establishment sky rocket!!! From her awesome interpersonal skills, her warm smile, superb customer service and the passion you feel because you know she loves her job, it takes this place from a 3 star to5 star hotel! Again, thanks Robyn for being so awesome and loving what you do. It makes a difference! Tiffaney Fryson

I’m a hilton honors member and my best girlfriend and I stayed this wknd for our annual girl getaway. Amazing amazing experience. All found in Edinburgh, Indiana. Who knew. Had to charge one star as each of our queen beds were rock hard. Outside of that onto the positives: Front desk service? Impeccable. Housekeeping? Perfect. Ran into staff on the way into our room Friday night and on our way greeted with a friendly hello and offering of chocolate. Kit kat for me. Snickers for my bestie. How fun. This am needed a role of TP. Same gentleman showed up apologizing for the delay. No need. He was timely. Couldn’t get into the side door with our room key one night and the GM was walking by — let us in and wished us a good night. It’s the little things. The pool and hot tub? Squeaky clean. The front desk and general area — spotless. Shower pressure? Perfect. Located across an outlet mall within walking distance to multiple chain restaurants. You can’t go wrong with Hilton.

This place was nice and quiet. We wanted to stay a little longer than check out and they allowed us. It was clean. The only complaint we had was the front desk staff wasn’t friendly. Everything else was great. Breakfast including omelet bar cost $ 9.95/person — we did that one day and then the next day we went to Cracker Barrell across the street near the outlet mall. That was the same price. Would definitely stay again.

Had a great day and night here. The whirlpool tube was wonderful. The one bedroom sweet was very comfortable

I have stayed here several times and each time it has been great. It is also next to shopping mall. Take the time and stay here. You will enjoy it. I know we enjoyed it each time. Also great restraunts near by.

This review is only for the restaurant and bar. I stayed over at hi express on thanksgiving day and they mentioned that the hilton gardens was doing a turkwy dinner. Price seemed reasonable so I thought id give it a try. Food was decent at best. Turkey was good but everything else was luke warm. The service was fine from my server but you could hear the bartender complaining about a guest at another table. Completely not necessary especially when I could hear her from the dining area.

I stayed there for about two weeks and everything went smooth. Housekeeping ladies went great and had no problems. They marched my per diem allowance as well whichkpt me from staying somewhere else not as good.

My fiancé and I are having our wedding reception here in October. The hotel is very pretty inside, but we chose it mostly because it fit our budget. We are still happy with the price we’re paying($ 560 to reserve the ballroom, plated dinner at $ 15/plate), but we’ve had a lot of trouble with getting responses from the event coordinator, Rachel. She prefers to be contacted through email, but since we signed the contract and paid the $ 560 deposit, she has never once returned an email without me having to call her to ask what is going on. I realize that we’re still several months out, and perhaps I’m not the priority at the moment, but how hard is it to hit«reply» and say«let me look into that and get back with you next week»? She’s pleasant in person, but it’s frustrating to have to wait weeks for an answer to a basic question. The rooms are lovely, the location is great for my out of town guests(near restaurants and the outlet mall), they have a hot tub in addition to a pool(smaller, but nice), and the price is very reasonable; but be warned if you’re planning a big event. UPDATE: They now have a new event coordinator. Rachel was apparently fired shortly after my original post. I’ve had much better luck with correspondence since then. UPDATE #2: A third event coordinator was hired a couple of months ago. She was an absolute nightmare to work with! She kept getting confused about what we had discussed, tried several times to pressure me into changing the plans I had made(i.e. wanting me to switch my dinner option so it would be cheaper for them), and would call me with problems without researching possible solutions first — had a very«this is your problem and you need to deal with it» attitude. She called me TWODAYS before my wedding and told me we could not start decorating until noon the day of the reception after we had agreed I would have access from 8:00 am onwards(all three event coordinators had agreed to this). I had to chew her out on this one. She was such a horror that the executive chef got tired of dealing with all of this and took over our entire event himself. Kudos to Chef Vlad for saving the day, but HGI will be losing a lot of business if they continue to employ this woman. As for the hotel itself, the food was very good and all my wedding guests said they enjoyed their stay. Most of the staff members are very helpful when you need something.

Spent this past week here. Staff was ok. Didn’t completely listen to my profile, but provided a decent room. Was a handicapped room, and no, I’m not handicapped, but I figured ok, I’ll try it. Tried the shower on Monday morning before work and ICE came out. Appeared to be NO hot water. Ended up letting the water run for a good 5 – 10 min(wasting it of course, but I can’t do a frozen shower) until the water finally warmed up. The staff didn’t correct the problem during my stay… this cost them a star. TV worked well, just a few HD channels. Room was quiet and the housekeeping staff was very good. Parking can get tight as the hotel fills up. Didn’t try the restaurant.

This Is a new hotel and my favorite in the area. If you have never slept on one of HGIs adjustable beds you a missing a great nights sleep. For HHonors people 25,000 pts /night is a steal!

Nice Place. Clean… reasonably priced(Walk up price of $ 109 for a mini suite). The restaurant was actually pretty good. It wasn’t like Hilton’s usual practice of adding a place to eat as an afterthought or because«We Gotta!» The food was good and the service was very good. Not overly expensive either. The swimming pool was pretty awful, but that only affected my daughter… so…tough noogies for her. The bar had cold beer so I was happy. If you are traveling through the area, it is a good choice. Oh… and the power did go out for a bit while I was«INTHEELEVATOR!!!» but I don’t see that as Hilton’s prob. I’m sure it was a local thing.
