Thank you, Alison(I believe she was the salon director), for giving me a follow up call. We talked over some of my previous problems(the«experienced» stylist, who apparently teaches a hair coloring class, was going to let me leave the salon with RED hair when I wanted a dull, gray-scale pink/rose. Read previous review). She gave many explanations and we came to an understanding, though she didn’t say anything about the bogus hair cut that I got(also in the previous review). Still cannot get over the fact about that red hair.

I had my hair highlighted by Marwa and she was great and my hair looks great. What I am not happy with is after my color I had my hair blow dried and was not told there was a charge. If I would have known I would have declined the service as I was going home to do laundry and go to bed. So I went to pay and was asked how much I wanted to tip and I told her a percentage and she said well that would mean Kelly(who blow dried my hair) would on only receive a small portion and asked me if I really wanted to do that. She then suggested a larger percentage and said it in a very condescending way. Tip shaming NOT Cool Lilli salon. I have always been happy with my services and recommended your salon but I think I will be going elsewhere next time.

I have been going to Laura Lee at Lili Salon for a few years now. It is so chic in there, everyone is always very attentive when you are waiting… offering you coffee, water, whatever you need. Back to Laura Lee though, she is AMAZING!!! She is always honest with you if something is going to work or not, she will not let you leave looking anything less than fab, and she just knows how to do it all!!! Everyone book with Laura Lee!!! :)

I’ve been going to the Lili edina location for 2 years! Front desk staff does not ever disappoint when I go there. They are rude, rude and rude! If I didn’t love the gal who does my hair — I would never ever go back. Front desk needs training in customer service ! Hopefully management can get that training for them ASAP!

The receptionist, Laura was rude and condescending to me. I called in to schedule a haircut, asking about the Groupon deal(luckily I hadn’t purchased it yet, but was just calling to get information and find out how long they were booked out before I purchased it .). But i was told by Laura that it was sold out. When I told her no it wasn’t sold out, I was currently on the app as we spoke, she argued with me and said yes it is sold out. I told to please go online and look right now and she will see that it clearly is not sold out. she argued with me more and said it was AGAIN … then adding«I’m not a fan of the Groupon.» I replied that yes that was clear. And that I seemed to be getting second-class service due to the fact that I was mentioning a Groupon. She became even more sarcastic and condescending and said«I’m sorry you feel that way.» She just had a tone… And an attitude the entire time. Thank God I did not purchase the Groupon… I will not be going here — ever! Who needs to be treated like that when you are there to spend money at their salon and you are just asking simple friendly questions. Blah.

I’ve been needing a hair cut in over 4 months and saw on Groupon that Lili Salon was offering a hair package deal! I went with the Galleria location for convenience. First time I called the salon to make my appointment the receptionist was very helpful and was able to accommodate me. I then later called to have my service at a different time and date; the receptionist however told me that they do have a ten — fifteen minute late policy/allowance. I requested the 2:30 pm appointment and told her I’d be there on time or a hair past the time since I was getting close to the salon. She replies«uhm, it’s 2:30 pm right now.» When it was only 2:28 pm and she just told me of their policy. I wasn’t too thrilled with her tone towards me. At least I gave the salon a heads up. Rolled into the salon at 2:31 pm and guess what I didn’t get checked in right away and I was seated to wait for my stylist, so I didn’t think getting there right at 2:30 pm should have been such a big deal. My stylist was Orville — very nice, attentive and he listened very carefully to my requests/preferences. I must say this was probably one of the slowest haircuts I’ve ever had in my life — not that that’s a bad thing but he was very careful, accurate and detail oriented. But it was just a little slow to me cause I’m use to past stylists getting right in there and clipping right away. Also I didn’t mind that he wasn’t as chatty as most stylists — again not a bad thing that just means people get in the zone or are focusing on their work. Also I was a little surprised that he didn’t ask which way I part my hair, I know that’s a common haircut question. Fast forward 2 hours later, my hair turned out very nice! I just asked for reshaping and cleaning of the ends! Orville enhanced what I currently had going on! So kudos to Orville on the result of the haircut! Checking out was no problem and the many other receptionists were diligent and polite; asking how was my experience. Do I recommend the Groupon deal — YES! I bought the haircut package for $ 39 and groupon was doing a promo so I ended up only paying $ 31 for the hair cut — not including tip :) What you get on the deal: Haircut Deep Conditioning Treatment Blow dry & semi style Free Bumble & Bumble product $ 20 gift certificate In conclusion — awesome experience :)

I bought a Groupon and Matthew cut/styled my hair. He was awesome. I have thin hair and I was at a loss as to what to do with my style. He listened to my issues and I walked out of Lili feeling pretty for the first time in a long time. Thank you and I’ll be back for sure.

By far the worst haircut I have ever received. I showed multiple pictures and said I wanted to keep the length just add a bit of an angle. It’s significantly shorter, choppy, very uneven, thinned out, there are missing pieces on the right side. It’s a completely different and poorly done haircut. She said she knew exactly what I wanted and started away. I am beyond disappointed. The atmosphere wasn’t great either. Not impressed, I will not return or recommend. After my experience I have spoken to 2 different people with similar experiences.

I had a great haircut and color but what I really hate about salons is when they charge for extra color and don’t tell you about it. I don’t understand how they can for extra color when you are already paying for that treatment. Although Kate did an excellent job, it leaves a bad taste in my mouth and am deciding if I want to go back.

Spalon Montage cancelled my color appointment, so I tried out Lili. Called and Drue was able to take me same-day, which is already great. I liked the place a lot — it was peaceful on a Sunday. Drue was great and did a good job with my color despite having never seen me before. I love my Spalon stylist but may end up switching as this place seems better overall. It’s a shame Spalon is so big they just can’t get it together.

The pedicure was very thorough. But if you see the * on the bottom of the page for pricing! price with vary with experience of the person. When I made my appointment, they new it was my first time there with my daughter. When I got the bill, the 42 $ for a pedicure went to 47 $ and 52 $, because of the experience of the employee. I should have been told that when I checked in or when I called for an appointment, to see if that was o.k. With me.

I do not recommend this salon. At all. Two of us made appointments to have our hair blown-out and styled for an event. Upon arriving in the salon, there was no one at the desk to greet us. Once we checked in, we had to wait quite a long time as both of our stylists were running behind. Actually, I heard a staff member comment that she didn’t know where one of the stylists was. Not a good sign. The stylist who did my hair rushed through my appointment and did a sloppy job with my blow-out. I had to ask her to fix a spot that she had clearly missed. After leaving the salon, I went home and discovered that my roots were still curly/kinky and the ends of my hair looked frizzy. It looked like an amateur had done my hair, so I had to fix my hair myself. I was very disappointed with my experience at this salon and will definitely not go back. Likewise, I would not recommend it to anyone else.

I got a gift card for Xmas so I decided to get a cut and full foil. The salon itself is cute and the girls at the check in desk were not as snotty as they appeared, but the girl who did my hair charged me $ 120 for a trim and a really BAD foil! She didn’t talk to me much, but I really didn’t care much about that but it think she under processed my hair because it was an orangy-blonde vs. a pretty yellow blonde that i asked for and have always received at aveda. She missed so many chunks of hair and I look like a calico cat with brown chunks all over! Can’t wait to make an appt to fix it at another salon. Will not return.

Dylan is a fabulous stylist. I highly recommend her. She listens and makes thoughtful recommendations and suggestions to incorporate the latest trends to YOUR needs and lifestyle. Plus, she’s fun and makes me laugh, but I still can relax and get caught up on magazines. Walked out feeling like a million bucks!
