The Pewter Club Barber Spa

I heard about his place from a friend of a friend. They stressed how good this place was and they weren’t wrong. It’s a cool little spot right off of River Road. It’s very unique. It’s like a house converted into a salon. I went here about a month ago for the first time. When my GPS said I had arrived, it took me a couple of minutes to find the place. I thought I typed in the wrong address. Until I spotted the sign by the window. Once I walked in I knew I was at the right place. It’s a super trendy salon. It’s decorated nicely, I felt like I was in a magazine spread. It’s ran by an extremely nice young couple. I had been growing my hair out and wasn’t sure what I wanted to do with it. The barber there had suggested a style so I just went with it. The barber was cool, down to earth, and very professional. About 40 minutes later, I had the best haircut I had ever received. No exaggeration. It’s been 30 days since that haircut and I still get compliments on my hair from friends, family, and strangers (not to mention free drinks from female bartenders). I still love the haircut 30 days later, that feeling was new to me, lol. The only thing I don’t like about my hair now is that it doesn’t look as fresh as it did on day one. So I made a second appointment. I honestly cannot recommend this place enough. For men’s hair this place is awesome. I couldn’t be happier.

I must say this is an awsome place to get a haircut for men! My boyfriend was recommended to come and get a haircut here. He was finally convinced and since the first cut he has loved it! (I think I love it more than him!) His barber is amazing! He’s very nice, attentive, and the atmosphere is phenomenal. His wife also does hair as well but I have yet to try her. I am tempted to color my hair so once she’s finished with her client I will ask some questions and if it sounds good I’ll give it a try:)

Went for a head shave at Pewter Club Barber Spa today with Tina. This shop has been open since November and is a wonderful shop. Owned by husband and wife Walter and Tina, this is an upscale barber /​salon fashioned with hardwood floors and vintage barber chairs.
The shave was perfect. Starts out with a head wash followed by per-​shave oil and hot towel. Next came shaving cream whipped up in a mug followed by a shave with a double edge Mekur razor with and against the grain. Next came a n exfoliating mask followed by a cold towel and then an aftershave infused with citrus.
A classy shop offering free lattes, coffee, tea, drinks, relaxing atmosphere and professionals. One of THE best shaves I have ever gotten in a shop.
Will be back to Pewter Club Barber Spa as soon as possible.
Do yourself a favor if you are in Northern NJ and need barber services visit this shop. You will not be disappointed.
