Ambience Boutique

Though I have never set foot in the store, I wanted to leave a review of my experience with the online store. I purchased a Soia & Kyo trench raincoat from
on steep discount when it was on final sale (I know my size in this brand). It is beautiful, arrived in perfect condition, well packaged and wrapped in pink tissue paper.
Shipping was very fast and the shipping cost was very reasonable too, for a small boutique. I made the purchase after store hours and it was shipped out the very next day and I noticed the website updated promptly. That’s good practice because too many times I’ve tried to purchase from smaller shops online to be notified later that the item really wasn’t in stock.
I love the selection I see online. Very stylish and the sale section is extremely well-​priced for the quality. If I lived in New Jersey, I’d definitely be stopping in.

I have been shopping at Ambience for years! The owners D and G are super nice and helpful. They treat their customers like family, always letting me know personally about specials and trunk shows. The clothes are hip and classic — as in they are cool today and will be cool a few years from now too, which is perfect. Large selection of items, but the items are unique — so if you shop here, chances are you won’t run into many other similar outfits out there. I literally go in and ask for a new outfit and walk out with a sexy hip new look from head to toe. It’s nice when you can buy the whole outfit in one place and don’t have to run from place to place to put it all together. From style to customer service, it’s an A+!

One of the nice things about coming back to the area is re-​visiting all of my favorite places. Ambience Boutique is a wonderful shop. Grace and Dorothy, the owners, have great taste and always seems to find exciting new designers to showcase.
The clothing selection is edgy and sexy. I always find something I love here, whether it’s to a black tie affair, going out for a fun night in the city or a hot pair of jeans. I got very lucky today at the sidewalk sale in Edgewater and snagged some true bargains. Pricing is upscale but Ambience has great sales racks too. I also like that their website is always well updated to reflect current inventory so you can stalk the dress you have been waiting to go on sale.
Dressing rooms are large and there are always a pair of dressy shoes inside for you to try on with outfits. Grace, D and the rest of the ladies there are always so nice and make it a pleasure to shop there. There’s another store in Englewood but I haven’t visited that Ambience location as of yet.
