Its like an at home breakfast place! So good and so comfortable. Better than the hotel buffet that i had at my hotel. This place is not a buffet though. Among the Flowers is located in the nice area of Edgartown as well as many other places. When you walk near it there is bike parking to the left of the place. There is also a bike rental place nearby. There are two menus, the breakfast and lunch one that they give you at breakfast. You are supposed to order from the breakfast menu. There are waffles, eggs, crepes, side orders, breakfast sandwiches, beverages, and more! They have good drinks including Orange Juice that is freshly squeezed and other juices. I ordered a cranberry juice and it was pretty good. The juices come in plastic cups and the water comes in a slightly larger cup. If you want a straw you have to ask because they don’t come with straws. The food took a reasonable amount of time to come. I ordered bacon and eggs. The eggs came with foods like toast. The food was very tasty and came in a paper plate so it was very casual. Even the fork was plastic. I enjoyed this place and felt at home! I felt very comfortable because they did not use reusable things. The people were very friendly as well.

Best breakfast on the Vineyard, hands down. Staff is on point, food is great, outdoor seating is lovely. We have eaten here three mornings in a row… why waste time and money elsewhere? My kids love the waffles, French Toast, eggs and bacon. The kale and quinoa bowl is great, as are the omelettes and bottomless coffee. A great place overall.

This place came highly recommended so it was our first stop for brunch when we got off the plane. I think we may have had high expectations based on reviews + recommendations. Its a great group place because the menu has a little bit of everything and is priced well. The one downside for groups is you may have to wait for a table at busy times. We were a party of two and waited maybe 15 – 20 minutes for a table outside. We ordered the lobster roll, steak salad and hot dog. We also had a bloody mary and grapefruit mimosa. The mimosa was great, the bloody mary fell flat but they offered me horseradish and hot sauce to perk it up a bit. The hot doq and steak salad were great, the lobster roll was not great, it was too stringy and it did not taste fresh. The steak on the salad was cooked perfectly and the salad was a very generous portion.

Cute place. We stopped for breakfast right as they opened. I was surprised to find a line. I got oatmeal and husband got yogurt with granola. Both very good. The fresh squeezed OJ is perfect to start the morning with!

Adorable brunch spot! Everything was surprisingly delicious, from the bread and pastries to omelettes. The tomato, feta, basil omelette with spinach was excellent. The multi-grain toast was especially good since I think they make it on site. Definitely a solid brunch option.

Huge menu, adorable café, outdoor seating. It’s the perfect brunch spot for this adorable, little town. It’s simple food, the servers are friendly and easygoing, and the menu is universally delicious. I ordered: –Corn chowder(I liked it better than the clam chowder!) –Roast beef sandwich(I would’ve gotten it without coleslaw on it, but delicious!) –Waffle(yes, I did order a waffle after eating sandwich and soup– so good) I loved their menu and would def recommend!

Pretty good food with great service. Good portion sizes too! Our waiter was amazing! We really liked the corned beef hash. Didn’t order a grilled muffin but they looked amazing. They slice open the muffin, butter it and put it on the grill.

My dad and I ate here twice during our three-day stay in Edgartown. We came in late April, when it was relatively quiet on the island, but this place was already busy with customers during lunchtime. My dad had the Powerhouse Salad(with chicken added) both visits. What a big meal! The chicken is so ample of a serving that you could eat it by itself and be satisfied. I had a simple garden salad with chicken. Their chicken has the perfect amount of savory tenderness. It is really quite good. I had three different ice cream flavors: chocolate, strawberry, and mocha chip. They are all delicious. The consistency is creamy and smooth, and the taste is robust. All the servers are warm and welcoming, and Patrick makes you feel like you’ve reconnected with an old friend. Overall, a 5 star experience and must-visit, even if you’re staying elsewhere on the island.

I loved this place! I came in for breakfast today and sat outside. I tried the quinoa with lentils, spinach, avocado, and and fried eggs, which looked like the healthiest thing on the menu. I loved it! My server was perfect. Although I was only one of two tables in her section. Great ambiance. Good prices. Great location, in the middle of Edgartown. My only suggestion would be to add more great healthy breakfasts like the quinoa bowl. I work at the Harbor View Hotel and frequently get asked where to eat. I will send them your way!

Mediocre yet expensive food — terrible and slow service — don’t come here! $ 10 for a sandwich that I could get at a gas station.

I gave them an extra star here just because I felt bad about writing a terribly scathing review. It became increasingly apparent to us that the service here absolutely cannot deal with a large number of customers, particularly in the afternoon. The staff work very hard, but are not nearly enough to manage orders in a timely fashion. We ordered two wraps here to go, since the wait time to sit was nearly half an hour, and waited nearly 40 min! For some of us, ordering«to go» should entail a 10 – 15 min waiting time, anything substantially more becomes unreasonable. I think moving forward the best strategy for this establishment would be to add more employees in charge of physically putting together the orders. This was their largest weakness. I hope to return here sometime in the distant future when this is the case.

My boyfriend and I dropped in for a late lunch on a weekday in early July. At 2 pm, the small, shaded outdoor patio was full and buzzing with patrons. When we were seated, the hostess notified us that the kitchen closes at 3 pm to prepare for dinner; but that soups, salads, and sandwiches were still available. Special Shrimp and Corn Chowder — 3 out of 5 We were eating a light lunch and opted to split the soup as an appetizer. It was good, but not great. The shrimp were small rock shrimp, which is not what one expects in a town known for its seafood. There was a moderate amount of corn and trace amounts of potatoes. On the whole, the soup was quite bland. Special Rueben(Roasted Turkey, Thousand Island Dressing, Swiss Cheese, Cole Slaw, & Rye Bread) — 4.5 out of 5 This dish hit it out of the park. The rye bread was toasted with butter on the outside and both slices had melted Swiss cheese clinging to the buttery crispy corners. Bursting out of the center were thick cuts of roast turkey, slathered with tangy thousand island dressing and crunchy cole slaw. Entrée Salad — Asian Chop Salad(Mixed Greens w/Grilled Chicken, Napa Cabbage, Red and Yellow Bell Peppers, Wasabi Peas, Edamame, & Spicy Thai Peanut Dressing) — 2 out of 5 Nothing special. The dressing was so dull that I forgot it was supposed to be a «spicy Thai peanut» flavor. I wouldn’t recommend this salad. Overall — 3 out of 5 If you’re looking for casual dining outdoors, Among the Flowers delivers. It’s not a culinary hotspot, but it is a solid bet for casual fare.

Absolutely wonderful dining experience. Cozy for breakfast, lunch or dinner. I’ve had breakfast and dinner here — both meals were full of fresh ingredients, our waitress’ were friendly and the prices were on point. It’s a different dining atmosphere than most places in Edgartown(+). I would recommend sitting outside, the setting is intimate and the people watching is great. We never felt rushed and enjoyed our food/drinks.

Close to the dock, outside seating, very small and quaint. The waitress was very friendly and helped us w/the menu. I had the Cheese and Broccoli Omelet. Omelet was large, fluffy and delicious. My wife had a mixed Yogurt and home fries. Yogurt was creamy, sweet, and tasty. Just wish they had more Gluten free options, but I’ll definitely come back here if I’m in Edgartown again.

Definitely a fan !! Best place to brunch in Edgartown. If a restaurant has a waiting going on. you know its some good and Among the Flowers Café didnt disappoint. I ordered a Califonia omelette which was just perfectly made to order. The service was also also great… P. S. Dont forget to try their Mimosas.

WHAT A NEAT place! Rachel our server, was a total peach! And like everything on the island, pricey. But so worth it! My egg white, mushrooms, herbs and goat cheese omelette was fluffy and hearty. Good food, new-agey and lovely service. Nice find! Beware of the pastry cases… they are HUGE! If you must tinkle, waddle indoors into the establishment, and feel like tweedle dee in a haphazardly corky structure. Up you go slightly, and very inconspicuously to your left, you will find the door to «The Throne». And I get into«potty talk» because its really cool not to have to bend… The«throne» is actually elevated to «throne» height. Just another piece of corky of this charming little breakfast nook. Get there early(by 0900) or stand in line salivating… Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

A darling(yes, darling) little corner café on the brutal backstreets of Edgartown. And by brutal, I mean darling. Again. Breakfast and lunch dishes, mostly egg-centric(omelettes, frittatas), with loads of fresh fruit options and only al fresco seating on a tight patio. You’ll feel like you’re among the family reunion you actually want to attend: kids running, Vineyard ladies chatting pastels and smiling staffers navigating microchannels between seatbacks, carve by hustling booties. The cinnamon roll comes three ways: plain, iced or iced with candied nuts, so pick your poison and be ready to share. It’s a doozy. The unsung hero, oddly hidden on the Sides menu, is the corned beef hash. Yes, hash is as regular as bacon and sausage, but even the full meal(with two eggs your way and toast) is an option listed there. And with their homemade version that mimics the best parts of Hormel — a fine potato dice, savory and seared crisp — while tossing aside the weak(tinny aftertaste, under-seasoned). It’s at once nostalgic and uniquely theirs. Free refills on coffee, tea and soda, but try not to percolate post-meal — there’s always a line, and for good reason.

This is a great restaurant! I totally get why people wait in line to get in. We got lucky on this Thursday morning, there was no wait and we were seated very quickly. The waitress was very friendly and quickly gave us our menus. We had: Egg white omelet with wild mushrooms & goat cheese — delicious. Egg white omelet with swiss and linguica — yummy The coffee was great as was the wheat toast(it’s amazing how many places can’t get a simple food like toast right!) The only negative is the bathroom. The toilet is on a step up and you have to be pretty agile to use it and remain on the step(FYI — I am not a big person — I am pretty tiny).
