It’s good for the milk shakes and chili cheese fries! But definitely milk shakes! If you want to go here for desserts, great place!

Ripoff with a capital R. The portions were pathetic. Since it’s a sit-down place, I was expecting something that’s worthy of a sit-down meal. Everything was a’ la carte, which wasn’t a big deal, but the burgers were about the size of a deck of cards. I ordered half fries, half onion rings. It was about 7 tiny fries and no onion rings. By the time they fixed that, we were already done eating since the burgers were only big enough for 2 or 3 bites(not exaggerating). It was $ 17 for hardly anything — We shared a small fries, got 2 small drinks, and 2 burgers that were basically sliders. If you want to pay restaurant prices for fast food kid’s meals, then this is your place.

It’s been awhile since we were here. We will never go back. This place has gotten so dirty. The menus were filthy, the bottled ketchup had dried ketchup, mustard or cheese under the cap. The backs of the seats had food smeared from dirty hands and food particles were between the seats and wall. You had one waiter clearing a table saying how the people were animals. Your host looked like a sad sack as she didn’t even smile let alone speak. Our waitress was sloppy she spilled and knocked food over. Not only this you have your help wearing white full aprons that are dirty looking as they have food smeared all over it. After all this negativity I do have to admit that the food wasn’t to bad. If I was from the board of health I would have shut this place down until they cleaned and scrubbed it.

Literally the best service I have ever received eating out. The staff was attentive and friendly. The food came pretty fast and was hot and fresh. Not only could you see them make the food but it also tasted delicious. I highly recommend the onion rings. And the burgers. And the milkshakes. I was going to take a picture of my food but I ate it the second I saw it. The whole décor what’s 1950’s themed and it was awesome. I will definitely be going back.

Every so often I feel the need to sit & eat lunch. Everything was cooked to order. The staff was nice & attentive. It’s a nice place to go for a brief nothing spectacular meal. The onion rings were sourdough coated & my grilled cheese was good & not greasy. I did bring my kids here one time. They were fine.

Had a smokehouse double which was pretty sizeable and can contend with what I get at five guys. I had a sip of my friends milkshake too which was pretty good. The wait staff did a little dance number which was cool and the manager came to check on us so that was nice. Our server seemed to get mixed up a few times and was a bit slow checking on us after we finished eating, but it was a good alternate, since there aren’t too many of these around.

Ordered the Fanta® Orange Creamsicle Shake, The Original & a starter of ½ Rings & ½ Fries — The Creamsicle Shake was very tasty. — The Original(ordered with just American Cheese, Lettuce and Tomato) was not as amazing as I remembered, though I was still happy to have ordered it. — The Fries(with Cheese) tasted much like the same cheese used by dirty water dog trucks. Very good. — The Onion Rings were great, as advertised. They were a good texture, a good taste, and a good temperature. — The restaurant was sparsely populated at around 8PM on a Friday night, which was a pleasant surprise. The waitresses were both attentive and helpful.

The best MILKSHAKESEVER. I love Johnny Rockets, especially when they are located in the mall. Nothing like going to Bath & Body Works then hitting up JR for a Milkshake and Chili Cheese Fries. Always great service and the food is always hot & comforting.

The place is a good for quick eat! We ordered chicken sandwiches and fries and they served them hot and pretty fast. The fries were unlimited and that was a bonus. The ambience took us back to the old days and it was fun! Look forward to go there again when we go shopping at the Eatontown Mall.

some meals come with a smiley plate made of ketchup. Cant go wrong. Shakes are awesome of course. Negatives… we got sat really quick but the service was a bit slow, look some time to get the food and even longer to get our checks. happened on more than one occasions.

I don’t normally review chain restaurants but Johnny Rockets deserves an exception. We visited the Johnny Rockets in the Eatontown Mall as sort of a lark. What a great time. The burgers are excellent and served quickly. However the excellent food takes a backseat to the ambience. Entering Johnny Rockets is like going back to the 50’s. There’s a juke box on every table(and they supply the nickels) which gvies a great selection of oldies. The staff is dressed just like back in the 50’s and they really seem to love their job. At one point the lights went down, the music went up and the entire wait staff danced in middle of the restaurant. We haven’t laughed so hard in a long time. If you want an inexpensive and fun meal visit Johnny Rockets. You won’t be sorry.
