Snookers Pool & Pub

4 stars, what a joke. I have been occasionally going here for over 20 years. This was the worst service we have ever had. If I was the owner I would be embarrassed by the staff’s performance. The place is full on a Sunday night and NOBODY IS DRINKING. Why?
Because of the untrained staff and expensive sugar water drinks. Might be the only pool hall left around but the bar really needs help. Full house like that you need some drink specials and a bartender that can make a drink.

Good food, lots of tables.
Great prices, drink specials friendly comfortable atmosphere.
Thursday Karaōke, makes for a fun time.
Recommend this place, I go often.
Great place to meet up with friends.

I’ve been here a few times since my last review and it’s a great place to hang out in the area. I tried the hamburger and fries on one occasion and the chicken strips on another. The burger was decently sized and came just like I ordered and the fries were hot and crispy. The chicken strips were fairly standard, but still good. Give this place a shot if you haven’t already.

It’s dark, beautiful, and huge inside. Lot’s of tables.
Not much when it comes to the menu. I had a chicken sandwhich, that literally left me saying…“Where’s the beef”.well chicken, but you get my reference… I cut the bun in half and had enough to cover everything in my sandwhich. We had a groupon, which is why we even chose Snookers… so I’d never say, Hey, let’s go to Snookers for some food… no… only to play pool… which is like… never…haha…

Snookers is hidden away down Kelly, but is well worth looking for. It’s an awesome place to shoot pool.
They have more tables than any other place I’ve been to, and they’re carefully maintained — no uneven tables here!
They have very fair prices here — you’ll spend under $ 10 for an hour of pool.
They also have a lounge area, a full bar, and serve food. The food’s good, but pretty par for a pub.
I’d rank this as my favorite pool hall because it balances the essentials of what I look for in a pool hall; decent food, a well stocked jukebox (they have an internet jukebox!), and a good bar that doesn’t charge ridiculous prices.
It does get busy on weekends, but not busy to the point where you have to wait more than 10 minutes for a table, or you feel like you can’t play because you’re bumping into people. The wait staff really helps keep the night going by coming right to the pool tables instead of players having to hunt them down. As well, there are chairs and tables lining the walls and between the middle rows — so everyone gets a chair to sit in and a table to eat in, if they want.
All that comprises a package that I just can’t pass up on a Sunday afternoon. If you’re looking for a good pool hall, this is it!

Snookers in Eastpointe is top notch as far as pool hall bar’s go. The service is always impeccable, as well as being very friendly. It’s easy to fall into the «regular» slot quickly as the servers and employees are always game to strike up a conversation with you. One of the best parts about Snookers is there $ 3 burger special on Wednesday’s after 6pm. These are true bar burgers, and this coupled with the atmosphere cannot be beaten. I would highly recommend this establishment for anyone that is looking for a fun and exciting place to hang out.
