I had noticed this bar when picking up an order from Little Ceasers in the same parking lot on 10 Mile road. It’s a bit further back off 10 Mile road so I never really noticed it. I absolutely LOVE Bar & Grill’s so looked them up on Facebook and also checked out their .com website and decided I was gonna check it based on the $ 1 draft PBR’s and a decent looking menu. I always eat when I’m at a bar. ALWAYS! lol Well I went up and sat at the bar and was noticed by the bartender immediately and she asked me what I was drinking and I ordered a draft PBR and and asked for a menu. Despite being extremely busy behind the bar and also running out to serve tables she accomidated me very quickly. A+ right there to the bartender. I ordered a club sandwich with a side of fries and started a tab. She checked on the status of my food order a couple times and gave me ETA’s on my food’s arrival which was awesome of her though I was in no rush whatsoever. In the meantime she hooked me up with silverwear, napkins and condiments. All A+‘s to the busy yet extremely efficient and obviously veteran bartender. My food order arrived in very reasonable time and she asked me if there was anything else I needed. A+ service! Take notes wanna-be’s! lol. I was all set. My club sandwich itself looked like it was prepared by somebody who had never made a triple-decker club sandwich in their life! lol… And the fries were VERY skinny and and there weren’t many. Pretty disappointed with my food order to say the least because a Triple-Decker Club Sandwich with Fries is my favorite thing to eat while drinking draft beer. The bartender immediately asked if I wanted another beer as soon as she saw my glass was empty and she was keeping her eye on my beer glass. A+ service again! I never had to ask for another beer cuz she was on it like a Pro. Then she asked me how my sandwich was… Well… I lied and said it was«really good» because I just never bitch about food when I dine out but I should have said the sandwich was poorly made and the portion of fries was too small but I didn’t. Her shift was ending at 7pm and so she was counting the cash drawer before the night shift bartender took over. I was given my tab efficiently with a «thank You»(another A+!) and I gave her a 50% tip because she was outstanding. You can’t possibly work harder than she works and she’s an A+ outstanding customer service bartender. There was a table of VERYLOUD drunk dudes(one in particular) behind me which was annoying as hell. Too many F-bombs dropped every other word. Grow up dude in your in yor 50’s. Whatever. Will I go back to Bostonz Bar and Grill on 10 Mile in Eastpointe just west of Gratiot? Yes! And I hope the same bartender is working. I think her name is Bonnie. I would advise the cook to work on his Club Sandwich making and french fry portions though or I won’t be back if it happens again. One more plus to Bostonz. Every song that came on the jukebox was Heavy Metal rock which I love!!! And the volume was loud and sound system sounds excellent. There weren’t any country Redneck wanna-be’s bitching about the loud Heavy Metal songs. Loved that.

Lots of space, Good Karaōke and drinks. Meet the owner, good guy. Noticed he was talking to all his guests. Nice to see that. I had the nachos and not crazy about them. Need to melt the cheese. I would go back.

I think I got the same bartender as Nicole G. and her name is Kelly. I stop going to this location when the previous owner allowed smoking, but I see that finally caught up with them. So I was so glad a few months ago when I saw the new name and entered, found a new owner, a couple of cosmetic changes(new door, window) and a bartender I knew(Bonnie). But then this evening I entered and saw another bartender I recognize. I couldn’t remember where from but I recall she wasn’t a god bartender. Kelly thinks her job is to communicate and not serve the public. She is attractive and probably thinks she’s a draw. Not tonight. I left after two beers and when I mention her bad service to a fellow patron, it was like the secret every kept to themselves. Not me. I’d give this place five stars if she wasn’t employed there. It’s my favorite neighborhood bar. For now I’ll just turn around if I see her working. I hope the new owner reads this message and watches her act some night.

Sat down at a table in the bar section and ordered a beer which took almost 10 minutes to receive. We sat and waited over 20 more minutes to put in a food order and the waitress never came. My boyfriend finally wrote our order on a napkin and handed it to her at the bar. There were less than 8 other people in the bar. Food finally arrived and waitress said, «the other girl will take care of you, I’m leaving,» and walked away. Then she actually stood at the table while I signed my bill and added a tip. I’m glad I had a gift certificate or I would have walked out, but I doubt I’ll be coming back.
