The Breakfast Table has been winning awards«Best in Lehigh Valley» for the past five years for several reasons: great menu, great service, great tasting food, and great value. They offer different quiches Wedns thru Sunday and several specials on Saturday and Sunday. Although you may have to wait up to 20 minutes for a table on weekends, it’s well worth the wait. Brian’s specials have a gourmet flair to them. I love the place.

Great local eatery with fresh food & excellent service. It can get crowded on weekend mornings so be prepared to wait for a table at times and bring cash because they don’t take any cards. Make sure you try the quiche of the day, it is usually wonderful and a very large portion. Another favorite is the breakfast burrito and their coffee is great too!

We went here for the first time on Sat morning. We were lucky and didn’t have to wait long. Once we sat down we got out coffee orders right away. Coffee was good and strong the way we like it. They didn’t take long on the great omelet special either. Delicious egg white omelet with chorizo, spinach, cherry tomatoes, goat cheese! Can’t believe we just found out about this place after almost 6 years living around the corner. Will definitely come try their next breakfast specials soon.

This place has the affable vibe of many of the other brunch outlets that are sprouting up like dandelions in the Lehigh Valley(and nationwide). But, while most of them(Griddle 145 first comes to mind) are a good 30% more in price point than your standard family diner, Breakfast Table is only about 15% more. This could be a clincher. It combines Victorian tea room with contempo-casual ambiance, and it really works. Except that it seats about 20 comfortably – smaller than a Chrysler that’s as big as whale. Yet they try to cram more like 30 seats into the place, and there’s likely to be elbow-bumping during the peak hours when people are waiting for a table. Frankly, the only reason I could sit at my table for six(made by combining two deuces) was because the table behind me had a vacant space. If all 4 seats in that table behind me were occupied, I wouldn’t have been able to sit. The service is friendly, fast and bustling, which they have to be to solve the GRE logic puzzles that come with challenging space management. The breakfast options aren’t super adventuresome, but portions are generous and very aesthetic, and they sure know how to pair their bread with the eggs. Coffee was plentiful and, from the reports of my fellow diners, SO much better than your standard family restaurant. So, yeah, sure, bring your jukebox money to the Breakfast Table, and prepare to indulge – but not too much! If you gain so much as a pound, you’ll need some Crisco to lubricate your way back out the front door.

I was very impressed straight from the beginning. The environment was happy and upbeat. Most breakfast places that are upbeat usually are loud. This place was not loud at all. The manager was very nice, and you can see he truly care about about the people, as well as his diner. He was even involved like helping the staff and taking care of the front desk. A small simple, but complex menu makes it easy to pick something you like or something that seems interesting. I decided to go with the cannoli french toast. The cannoli cream was perfect, and combined with the cinnamon brought it to a whole different level. The pricing was perfect, and everyone I was with loved it. The best breakfast place I have been to in the lehigh valley area. A good place to become a breakfast regular

To be honest, I wish you could give half stars because my real rating of The Breakfast Table would be 4.5 stars. I had been trying to get to this breakfast place for awhile but as it turns out they only accept cash which I feel is one of the reasons that limits me to stopping in more often. Aside from that I’d say this restaurant is really great. Compared to many of the other breakfast/lunch establishments food-wise, and service-wise this one stands out. You are truly met with the feel that you’re dining within your own kitchen. Unlike regular diners you get a large sized-coffee mug presented in a distinct and quirky color. It’s refreshing in just that detail alone, but the coffee itself is rather good. Whatever brand they use is quality. I try to keep my coffee intake to two cups per morning but I went for three because it was delicious. Moving on to the food, I had dined here with both my boyfriend and his friend so we all got different dishes, but came to the same conclusion — the food is awesome. I ordered an egg white feta & spinach omelette with rye toast and a cup of their soup of the day. The soup was turkey & rice, and although seemingly basic it hit the spot and was anything but basic. It had a great turkey flavor and just the right amount of grains to balance it out. My omelette was incredibly portioned, and came with a side of breakfast potatoes. I’m very particular when it comes to potatoes because 9⁄10 times it’s dry, flaky, and unsavory, but, these are the real deal. Small, tasty, cubed, and perfectly seasoned potatoes had me happily surprised. The omelette was great too, it was triple the size of what you’d normally get if you went anywhere else, and for the price is was a breakfast bargain that you just can’t beat. Not only is the Breakfast Table affordable, and a cute little breakfast spot, the food is pretty great. Although I find the location a little tight, and if it gets busy, snagging a table, especially on the weekends can be pretty frustrating, I will say, it’s worth it. There’s no bad to be found here, and the service was speedy, and the waitresses were friendly. I’d highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food, nice service, and a break from your average diner. I’m looking forward to my next experience, their menu had a variety to choose from so their is something for everyone. Just make sure you have cash on you because it’s all they accept!

Nice quaint breakfast /luch joint. Better than typical diner fare with a few unique items in a cozy atmosphere. I have had omlets, egg sandwiches, frech toast and quiche. All have been above average. Tip. Cash only Tip. Visit the Strohman outlet next store.

Get there early on the weekends as it is very popular. During the week it is much easier to get seated. The service here is very good. One never has to flag down a server to get a coffee refill. The portions are quite large and the specials are creative. The quiche of the day is a must but they run out rather quickly.

Fantastic and charming little place. Searched online for breakfast places to go to when I was in town visiting and this restaurant was overall best in the area. The Owner(also the cook) and server were very friendly and food came out promptly. Their homemade muffins were the best! We were so full from breakfast but made it a point to take a few to go and we were glad we did!

I would rate it more stars except for the fact that it is not made more apparent that they only accept cash or check. no cards at all. This made for a very embarrassing end of the meal where I had to go out and find an atm somewhere after the meal because I normally do not carry any cash on me. we went on a Saturday afternoon around 1pm and did not have to wait at all since the place was relatively empty which was nice. Food was amazing of course(I got the canolli French toast and my friend the spicy breakfast burrito). Tips: bring cash and go later in the afternoon on the weekend!

This is one our favorite breakfast spots. We love the hospitality and and the delicious food. They always have great specials including their quiche of the day, which is always perfection. Breakfast burritos are the best as well as their pancakes and omelette’s! We are never disappointed here and continue to come back for great service and amazing food!

Not open on Monday or Tuesday. The restaurant definitely needs a better Web presence. Drove all of the way out there for no reason.

We had Mother’s Day breakfast here, it was our first time here, everything was absolutely wonderful, omelettes, bacon, scrapple, even the coffee. We read on here to call ahead and we were seated within 10 minutes of checking in! We had a throughly enjoyable breakfast and will be back … So glad we found it well worth the trip !!!

We planned on breakfast here before taking my daughter to the airport. She looked for something new. Too bad the website says they are open on Tuesdays. Of course there’s a schedule on the door that gives you the real schedule. They are closed on Tuesdays. Fortunately, we were close to the 248 Diner which is where we usually would go. I won’t waste my time figuring out when this place is open. I will also tell anyone considering the place my story. No reason in this day and age a website should not be accurate.

The service is great. Super friendly and knowledgeable. We got peanut butter and jelly french toast, bacon and fresh mozzarella omelet, and the cheeseburger and fry breakfast burrito. One word, amazing. Eggs were so fluffy and fresh. I loved that the menu was small but I had things I’ve never tasted before. That burrito made my life. They have different specials on a chalkboard when you walk in. The place is small so it’s perfect for meeting up with a friend or two for breakfast/brunch. Bring cash. No credit cards.

I have been here maybe a dozen times and the Breakfast Table never disappoints. The eggs are always cooked to perfection. I usually end up getting an omelette and it’s a generous portion with the toast and potatoes. My wife ordered the cannoli stuffed French toast last time we were there. It was unbelievable. I don’t think you can go wrong with anything here. **This is your warning** The Breakfast Table is extremely popular and you will most likely have to wait 10 – 20 minutes for a table. (I’m not sure how this would result in a bad review for some customers)
