This is an Asian run up scale Taco Bell. It is set up just like so many Chinese restaurants right down to the menu style but they do mexican food. I will only be reviewing the Tacos as all I ever order. While they may lack authenticity they make up for it in taste. They have a shell press and then grill the soft flour shells. The hard shells are a corn based shell and are good also. The chicken and steak are marinated perfectly and taste incredible. The taco salsa they offer is awesome and makes it complete. A very good alternative to a Taco Bell. Keep your expectations realistic and enjoy odd environment and enjoy it.

This place is just weird. I was expecting a little hole in the wall take out Mexican place, but when I walked in, it was apparent that this was previously a Chinese restaurant — you know, how ALL Chinese restaurants look the same on the inside. The kicker is, Chinese people are still running the place. So, NOT authentic Mexican at all. Considering the fact that this is a take out joint in a strip mall, I wasn’t expecting gourmet Mexican. I WAS expecting authentic, and this wasn’t it. Ordered the Burrito, and the menu said lettuce came on the side. Well, it didn’t…they put it IN the burrito which was disappointing, as I don’t like lettuce in my burrito. I ate it anyway, because by that point I was already back to my office and it was too late. The chicken was tough and overall, it was very bland. No flavor, no spice. Nothing. For the price, I would have expected a larger burrito, or at least some chips /salsa on the side, but nothing came with it. Disappointing. I won’t be back.

I really liked this place. The food was yummy even though the rice was a little bland. They even delivered and gave me a free two liter with my order.

Let’s talk about what Taco Express is NOT: — It’s not authentic Mexican cuisine — It’s not a 5 star gourmet restaurant — It’s never going to be that favorite restaurant of yours That out of the way, let’s talk about the good stuff: — Cheap, freshly made faux-ican(Faux-Mexican) food — Tasty(in the non-blow-your-socks-off way) food, in a way that is very pleasantly surprising I haven’t tried a lot of stuff on the menu. But the tortillas are made there, and are delicious, and the steak they use in their Fajitas is absolutely amazing. If you decide to go, get the Steak Fajitas, you won’t be sorry. Their lunch specials are $ 5.95 and include rice+beans and a soda :) Can’t beat that with a stick. 1) If you’re silly enough to order Nachos for a delivery, you’ve got bigger problems than«stale”-ness. 2) If you’re expecting Aaron Sanchez of Food Network to be back in their kitchen slaving away over a perfect bowl of Guac or Spanish Rice, you’re going to be SORELY disappointed.

Do not order for delivery. Was told that food would be delivered in 45 minutes. It did not arrive for an hour and half. Hard shell tacos and nachos were extremely stale. The beef was bland and dry. Mexican rice was dry and flavorless. This was the first time ordering and will not order again.

I’m giving this place five stars for being exactly what I expect. This is Chinese takeout, Mexican style: ordering by number, a menu with ten thousand options and six ingredients, an eat-in area nobody really eats in. you know the drill. This place is better than Taco Bell, but it’s no Hello Burrito. If you want cheap tacos that taste like cheap tacos, but are actually made of food(looking at you, Taco Bell) this is the place for you.

Only tried once — fresh, but sooooo bland. This was shortly after they opened though. Maybe we should give them one more shot.

If you actually LIKE Mexican food stay far far away!!! In fact, run away from this place and save your $ 20!!! The Pico de Gallo is nothing but gritty unripe diced tomatoes with one tiny sprig of cilantro. The guacamole is tasteless. Just a mashed avocado. The«mexican rice» is dry brown rice with zero taste. The«Black Beans» are canned refried bean paste with a few black beans mixed in for texture. The Chicken Chimichanga was the WORST part! It was horribly BURNT strips of «grilled chicken»(al a fajitas) with a pound of cheddar cheese melted around it and shoved in a barely fried tortilla! The only good thing from this entire experience is they delivered(the delivery driver was incredibly nice!!) so I did not have to waste gas driving and their«homemade» chips were crispy… YUCKYUCKYUCK!

Great service. We’ve only done take-out and delivery, but they are quick and reasonably priced! They’re also super friendly.

Best mexican fast food restaurant in Easton! Blaxican approved! try the Burrito Loco, or the mexican pizza. tender steak, flavorful(non-greasy) chorizo, good chicken. And they deliver!
