Sonic Drive-In

Went here today and was told that the Cream Slush and Floats are no longer on the menu??? Just got a Cream Slush and Coke Float two days ago! What is going on? Left without ordering anything and doubt we go back. They have stopped making the main reason we go there.

I was the first person at this location to get the boneless buffalo wings. They were amazing! They have the perfect amount of heat and a great crunch. The chicken tastes great and it’s clear that it’s real chicken. Can’t wait to try the other flavors.

We loved this place when it first opened but now it’s not worth the trip. Soggy tater tots and very wilted lettuce on our burgers. I ordered everything but mustard, I got mustard. It’s also filthy. We sat at their outdoor tables and we could smell the rotting trash in the three surrounding trash cans, the concrete and building walls were stained with spilled drinks and food. The service was good but don’t bother going here. Sonic has no pride for this site.

Always seeing the commercials for Sonic but never been able to visit one until now. The half price vanilla shake was excellent, and the tots were really enjoyable, but my bacon cheeseburger was nothing special and despite this location being less than busy it still took about 5 minutes before they even took our order. Overall worth a visit but I’d try a different burger or a hot dog next time.

I’m a huge sonic fan and I try to stop at every time I see location, so on our way home it was a MUST to go here. This location is a good one in my books – our order was taken down correctly and the employee who took our order was very friendly! My slush was made perfectly and my food was HOT and fresh. They also took the time to include condiments without even having to ask. I enjoyed!

Very unsatisfied Me and my girlfriend ordered two cherry cream slushes and two five piece cheese cake bites are slushes had a taste of 2% milk blended up with ice no cherry flavor what so ever the best part was a tiny lash of whip cream on the top and the cheese cake bites the lady said sorry we didn’t have enough so we gave you two three pieces but I already paid for two five pieces didn’t complain as I drove off I took a bite of a cheesecake bite they were all under cooked cold in the middle never again will I go to this sonic only in baltimore they put extra cherry

I get that this is fast food and thus it’s not going to be high quality fare. However the hotdog bun was so soggy I could have drank it through a straw. The drinks however were on point. The quality of food at this particular Sonic have been in decline over the last year. It used to be my go-​to fast food place. Now, I think I will avoid it. What a shame.

Love stopping by here every time I go to OC. Tonight on my way back they supposedly closed earlier than when they are supposed to which is midnight. I park and some worker walks up to me and says sorry we are closed. I ask him why it’s not even 12 yet. Then he goes ohh what do you want? I tell him my order he goes inside and it’s been 20 minutes and he hasn’t returned. The least he could do was tell me he couldn’t do it. Ridiculous service.

Lousy in all ways… first and last time there… 1) got barked at by impatient person on the other end of the order box, 2) ordered one of the burgers with no cheese, but they put cheese on both, 3) both burgers were COLD the cheese wasn’t even melted when we removed it from the one we didn’t want cheese on 4) even if they would have been hot they would have been less than ordinary; very tasteless 5) bees flying all around us at our outdoor table… even McDonalds would be better

Great food menu. I loved the pretzel hot dog! An abundance of shake flavors but many didn’t sound appealing — peanut butter/​bacon shake? EWWW.

So slooooowwwwwwwww but the food was amazing. I got the chili hot dog and it was so good. They were so slow which made the experience less enjoyable.

I’m updating my review from 18 months ago because the service has improved substantially. Someone got their act together and improved hiring or training, or both. Good save!

Let me start off by saying we had a love affair with Sonic. It started many years ago, and we always make a point to stop at Sonic when we travel to areas that have them. We stopped on our way into OC to get breakfast. We do not eat fast food anymore, and we have both come vegetarians MOST of the time, so finding something on the menu is hard. We made it happen, and it just was not that great. Service was good though. I think in the realm of fast food, Sonic is still great — its just our preferences are changing.

The food at sonic is sub-​par, it’s nothing spectacular, just type fast food. Sonic does however make killer drinks and deserts. I go to Sonic just for the Ocean Water in Rt. 44 (44oz). I recommend it to anyone who likes Sprite and coconut!

It seems that when I’m out of the Baltimore area, I can find a Sonic. Driving back from Ocean City, we stopped in for a quick bite to eat. While on vacation, fried and fast food is allowable, even required. Yeah! The food is basic. My favorite menu item is the tater tots. I succumbed to the lure of TV advertising and ate the Chicago and New York hot dogs. The Chicago was fresh and tasty. The best part about this Sonic is the service. The roller servers were friendly and polite. I give them a 5 star rating.

I’ve seen the commercials a dozen times and always got an attitude because the only once that’s near me is 70 miles away. Well I finally was in the area and had the chili cheese fries and man they were tasty I haven’t tried anything else because let’s face it… I love fries and chili and cheese is icing on the cake.

sonic is awesome. I“ll always go here when I drive home from the beach. #2 supersonic burger with tater tots and strawberry fruit slush.

SONIC is one of my favorite places. When I saw it while driving back to DC from Ocean City, I had to stop. It’s hard to get to or at least to turn at the right place but it’s worth it. I had a caramel banana shake and strawberry watermelon creamslush. It was unbelievable. I think I am in paradise.
The second time there, my friend and I got three breakfast burritos, one reeses sonic blast, one mocha java chiller, one chicken sandwich and one sonic burger. There was a slight mixup in the order which the sonic staff corrected quickly and at no cost.
The food and drinks were all amazing. Service was quick and friendly. Five stars for sonic!

It’s a MUST if you’re heading out to Ocean City.
«OMG it’s Sonic’s in Maryland» were the first thing I shouted when I spotted it going to Ocean City, so we had to stop there!
For those that live in Maryland Sonic’s is located out of no where meaning people can’t get to it cause it’s located in places where no one lives =P But when I’m in New Orleans or where ever in the Southern part of the U.S. I have to stop at Sonic’s to get my Coney Dog and Blue Coconut crème slush fix =) My fiancé loves the cheddar peppers (similar to tater tots but filled with cheese and jalapenos in them), strawberry limeade, and burger. You can go thru the drive-​thru but everyone usually does the drive-​in which you park on the curb and order through the speaker that’s located near the menu. And someone comes out to bring your food and you can just eat in the car.
If you are on your way to Ocean City it will be located on your Left its next to Dunkin Donuts. If you’re leaving Ocean City it’s on your Right.
