Decent but not what I was expecting. Just moved over to this side of town and I Always had Papa chows but decided to give it a try here. More of a generic taste then anything. Service was good though.

Ok… quick simple Chinese food. Nothing to brag about here… it’s just a slower fast food joint. I prefer China Cafeteria but this location is just closer to me.

China 1 is one of two Chinese food options in the Camp Creek Pkwy area(as of this review date). I’ve seen this place a few times as I’ve gone to the American Deli next door many times. I’ve wanted to stop in several times but my wife said to wait until lunch in case the food wasn’t good and we’d only pay lunch prices. Smart woman. There honestly isn’t anything good about the food from China 1. I ordered the Pepper Steak w/Onions and my wife had the General Tso chicken. Neither had much flavor. The chicken fried rice that accompanied the food had a soggy feel to it. I ate a decent amount of the food but there was just nothing appetizing about it. Two pluses would be that the food was prepared pretty quickly(maybe they should have taken longer…) and lunch portions were still pretty big. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Typical Chinese take out atmosphere. The food was substandard. I ordered sesame chicken combo that come with chicken fried rice and a egg roll. I also ordered a pu pu platter. The rice tasted old like they took old rice a refried it. The rice was dry and had a handful of small chicken pieces. The sesame chicken was pretty tasty, it had a good crunch and not too much sauce, and the sauce was brown and not that bright red that I hate. The pu pu platter was pretty good except the teriyaki sticks were almost burnt. I asked for my sesame chicken be in separate from the rice there was and extra 50 cent charge for that which I though was ridiculous. Would I go back? Maybe just to give then another chance since this was my first visit but I won’t be running back.

The service here was great! The lady who took my order was very nice. The egg rolls and the rice were the stars. Fast and reliable«Chinese» food.

As we all know, the appearance of Chinese restaurants run the gamut. China1 is located in a shopping plaza that has tons of shopping. The exterior is just fine. The inside is a basic setup — 4 tables, counter, menu, kitchen, etc. I recommend this location for great takeout. They will adjust your order to your preference. The quality of the food is consistent and great portions. The staff is stable, friendly and approachable. The menu is vast; however, I generally get the 2 Choice Special that will last me for two days. Highly recommend that you give them a try.

I’ve had takeout here twice and both times the food was just ok. I had the General Tso chicken which tasted like crap. I have never tasted a blander dish. That and the fried rice with the dish. I would recommend if you were held at gun point and forced to eat. Other than that… no go.

Not really any place to eat in(two tables I think), but pretty decent take-out. Typical choices for this kind of place(Chinese takeout). I would have given them 4 stars if they offered delivery, even just to the local hotels. I frequently stay in the hotels across the street for business, but crossing the full on highway just to get some take out, or during bad weather makes it a bit difficult to access. The food is alright and the portions are good. The employees are very nice and it is prepared promptly.
