My mother is disabled(struggles to walk) and visiting me from out of state. She needed her nails done. This place didn’t have a line. I drop her off at the door, parked my car, and came inside to wait while she has her services. The manager tells me I can’t wait, since I’m not having services. So I go get my mother and tell her I’m not allowed to wait and we have to go to another shop. The manager changes her tune and allows me to wait, but every chance she gets she tells me to move. And then purposefully redirects the fan… Yes a fan… Away from me because it’s only for paying customers. It’s 96*! Now I see why there is never a line. Stay away from this place!

I will never in life go to this place again! First off the owner is very rude and will sit and openly gossip with other personal customers of hers. Then I asked for my nails to be a certain way and they were done so wrong ! Their cut uneven and it’s noticeable. The I have a cut in my foot and my finger from the lady clipping down or filing to hard. Then my relative hears the owner speak with another customer saying that she wanted to refuse my services because I’m plus size. When I get her shut which I’m in the process of doing, she’ll think twice before she make that comment again. No friendly customer service at all!!!

If I could give zero stars I would!!! For the sake of your nails and wallet DONOT go to Nails Unique. The first time I went I got gel and gel polish and they looked messy so I asked to clean up the polish which was all over my fingers. They did but only after filing down my gel to paper thin. Within 2 days 3 broke! I went back to get them fixed and asked for a different tech and was given the same guy anyways, the owner did not care even though I was willing to give someone else a shot. I asked for the nails to be removed and left with paper thin nails, no filing, no buffing and at least 2 visibly broken. One nail was removed to the point where I now have a hole in my nail and can’t get nails anywhere until it heals! It will take months to recover from what this place has done to my nails and the owner does not care about it’s customers. Stay away!

Parking: The lot is shared with American Deli, Dominican hair salon and Verizon so during peak time [evenings and Saturdays] might be challenging. Wait time: Try to get there mid morning on the weekends or weekday evenings Nails & such: Ms. Bea [the owner] is very professional and greets everyone that enters. I don’t have an issue with the color selection because I bring my own. Jim is the real MVP! I still don’t have a «favorite» person when it comes to my pedicure.

Jim is the best. No much nail color selection but all I wanted was black so who cares :) no massage or lotion

I’ve never really written a review on a business I know everyone is trying to make their money but when I walked in Ms. Bea the owner wasn’t friendly I came in for a simple polish change and nail cut down on my toes I was told that the wait was unknown and I was like ok. I set there for like 10mims another lady walked in a wanted a pedicure she was served immediately and before me. I then asked Ms. Bea was she aware of what I wanted since she took someone in front of me and she said yes and I quote«I have to get someone special for you and I still don’t know how long it’s going to take, it will be up to the nail tech.» I was looking like WOW I guess I wasn’t spending enough money for service! My advice to the owner is if a polish change isn’t bringing in enough revenue TAKEITOFFTHESERVICEMENU!!! Beyond rude was the vibe I got!!!

There are only two things about this place that were positive during my visit on yesterday. One, they were quick. Two, it’s black owned. The later not being a strong positive. I took my mom for a mother/daughter mani/pedi for her birthday. Sorry mom! The lady who took care of me didn’t ask if I wanted my nails cut or filed. She thought she was going to do what she wanted. I don’t think so. There was no massage or hot towel for either mani or pedi. In my opinion, those are the two most important parts of the service. To end our displeasure as soon as possible, we asked for simple clear polish on our finger nails. We received one coat. What the heck?! For $ 32 each, I would have liked a much better experience. There has to be a better salon in that area.

DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE! Had Tracey do my pedicure and her husband do my gel manicure. Spent $ 55 on a scraped heal, cut on my big toe, and an ugly big toe. Tracey was so horrible on my right foot. It was all uneven. Even the owner Mrs. Bea had said something and still continued to charge me full price after the fact that I asked for a discount. And to top it off my gel manicure that’s SUPPOSE to last 2 – 3 wks started chipping less than a wk! And now it’s discoloring. Got a nude pink and now it’s turning yellow. This place is a joke. Don’t waste your time or money. This is my first review ever and I hope whoever reads this, listens. DONOTGOTOTHISPLACE! If I can give this place no stars I would.

Great nail salon! Tracey was super friendly and gave a great pedicure. I also had a manicure and eyebrow waxing and was so pleased. I wasa impressed with the price and definitely with the service. When I am in town again I will definitely be back!

Yes, the service was quick and the prices lower than most in the area, I’ll give them that. But as I’ve said before– you get what you pay for. The staff was nice enough, though the the work & shop sub standard. Both my gel manicure AND pedicure were chipping in less than a week. My gel polish was painted way over the sides of the nail and onto the skin, so of course, it was peeling up within days. Though I brought my own toenail polish, they didn’t have the first two gel colors I chose even though they were offering them as options. Also, the shop was not nearly as clean and organized as I’d like… I’m pretty picky about that kind of thing. The nail techs were constantly climbing over things on the floor, extension cords, their fellow employees to stand next to the pedicure chair to do your manicure. I do like both of my services done at the same time, but not when it means I have to move my purse every few minutes so someone can stand next to me. Remove even just one pedicure chair and give yourself some room to work, ladies!

Got an acrylic overlay fill & some waxing done for $ 30!!! Which is really great deal for me, being used to New York nail/waxing prices. My nail tech was very nice and was quick but did a great job and didn’t ‘nick’ me with the nail drill. Salon was very clean & neat didn’t appear funky or unsanitary. My only complaint is that their color selection kinda sucks, but I usually bring in my own polish so I can touch up as needed if I get any chips at home.
