BGR Grille

11:45 we walked inside. $ 10 for a jerk chicken burger with water. Line expanded to 11 people. The cashier was the only one in the restaurant and didn’t start the grill until 12. Another employee showed up around noon. Another 5 people in. Food set out at 12:30. They forgot what the ingredients on the burger and finally put raw mushrooms on. Had to get the order to go. Food as good as service. The frys were inedible. Coworker threw the entire lunch in the trash.

I had every intention of going to Thumbs Up however the line was also out the door. I wanted something good to eat and started walking down the street when my senses started to smell char grilled greatness.
I was greeted as soon as I walked in the door. One thing East Point is lacking on menus is Burgers. As far as I’m concerned problem solved with BGR Grille. The young man asked if he could explain the menu. Everything is fresh, cooked to order and not pre-​made. Beef, chicken, turkey and even steak. All the fixings.
This is a black owned family business. Very friendly people. I ordered the Blackened Bleu. Cajun seasoning, sautéed mushrooms and onions, provolone, Bleu cheese sauce, and BGR craft ale sauce. My fries were tossed with parm and garlic. One bite and I was in heaven. Definitely worth the trip and return visit.

Past by this spot many times, decided to give it a shot! Glad I did, one of the best burgers I’ve had in the past 5 years. You have to wait a few minutes for them to prepare it… well worth the wait. Great tasting food and service!

The burgers would be great if they didn’t use paper bread. The quality is terrible. The stir fry is pretty good. I didn’t necessarily enjoy the customer friendliness. I would go back but I just pray that they read the reviews.

BGR Grille is amazing! The employees are very pleasant and the burgers are awesome! If you’re looking for a quick, quaint bite to eat and a meal that packs a flavor punch this is it! I had the pleasure of trying their Happy Hawaiian Burger & it was the best burger I’ve had in a long time. The combination of the teriyaki sauce, smoked mayo, and bacon set it off and put this burger at the top of my list of things recommended to try! Thanks so much BRG GRILLE! Great location in the middle of downtown East Point with convenient parking. I ordered over the phone a pick-​up order. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, making sure I had everything I needed such as dipping sauces and a drink. I ordered the Jerk Turkey burger with Sweet Potato fries and both are delicious! The turkey burger is juicy, spicy (just how I like it) and full of flavor! The fries came out great too! I would definitely recommend this place for a quick bite to eat!

You know what? I’m going to take the blame for this one… I had my head and heart all set for a burger and allowed myself to sucker MYSELF into ordering a «healthier option» once I looked at the menu. Despite my craving for a burger, I ordered the salmon stir fry and it was just an awful decision. You get to choose your own veggies for the stir fry and its a good option in theory, but the lack of any type of seasoning is just a killer for any menu option. The piece of salmon was cooked way too long and was just a dry hunk of tasteless nothing… The rice and veggies just took up space. They get 3 stars because I should’ve known better than to order salmon stir fry at a burger joint. Partial responsibility goes to BGR as well for having healthier options that are suckalicious…

I went to this placed based on a promotional certificate. The terms and conditions of the certificate stated the discount should be applied on the total before taxes. The owner advised me if I used the coupon an automatic 18% tip would be included on the total bill before the certificate discount would be applied, just for using the coupon. The terms and conditions clearly state taxes and tips are not added. The food was a carry-​out, so why was a 18% tip added. My total bill was, surprisingly, overinflated. When I expressed to the owner he was not adhering to the T&C of the certificate and over-​billed me, he was nonchalant.
I would never eat here. Save yourself the trouble and don’t go. In addition, the food is not that good.

Convenient location in downtown East Point and a short walk from the MARTA station there. Friendly staff and no-​nonsense menu and ordering process.
I ordered the Americana for $ 9, which was combo deal including a cheesburger with bacon and fries. The burger sides were custom – just specify if you want mustard, mayo, lettuce, tomatoes, etc.
The fries were too greasy and small (shoestring style). Steak fries or even an option of onion rings would have been better.
Overall, a decent burger joint. Not worth going too far out of your way, but a quick a reasonably priced option.

I got excited when I noticed I on there menu that I could get loaded fries like back home but, after my coworker returned with was nothing like what I expected I was extremely disappointed! Almost to the point, where I wanted to call & tell them go back to get something else & this is why… my fries was suppose to be loaded w/​melted jack cheese, cilantro, jalapeño, pic ode gallo, sour cream, guacamole & a red sauce. INSTEAD… my fries w/​loaded with shredded carrots, onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, pieces of ribeye steak w/​chopped up pieces of fat stir fried in a teriyaki BBQ sauce! I would have never ordered this if I knew they changed the menu or what have you because, I DONT eat ½ the items that came on their like ONIONS, MUSHROOMS OR BELLPEPPERS!!! What a wasted lunch. If I wanted stir fry I could of joined my coworkers & accepted their invite to go to NOODLES for lunch! Talking about not happy! Urghhh!!!
I normally don’t go in on restaurant ESP., when I’ve been before & has the best burger their ever! I really expected better but, I think they should regroup on their menu. Either that or I’ll stick to what I know is good their which was their Southerner Burger. Smh
