These employees need an education on service animals. One employee walked by me twice and both times patted my medical assistance dog on the head both times. Services dogs are not here for your enjoyment they are working and you distracting them can cause physical harm to the handler and if the animal sees you as a threat it could mean harm to you as well.

I’m not sure why but service at this starbucks always seems to be very slow. On numerous occasions we’ve had to wait 10 – 15 minutes for drinks… Maybe our timing is poor with their coffee swap outs, but it’s been for both hot and cold drinks. Nowadays I skip this Starbucks.

This is the worst Starbucks I’ve ever been to in my life. I have never had to wait 40 minutes for an iced coffee in my life and I go to different Starbucks 2−3x a day. By far, the worst experience I’ve ever had.

This is the worst Starbucks ever. Several times they were out of sugar. So you could only use the fake sugar Splenda that makes my coffee taste terrible. They seem not to ever clean their ovens where they hit up sandwiches and cookies. Cookies come out with salty taste and smell of eggs. They are also extremely slow. The place is never as clean as other Starbucks near them…

I’m a Starbucks power user, 2 – 3 a day and have visited more locations than I can count due to heavy work travel. I just moved to this area and am super disappointed at how poorly staffed and managed this location is. No matter what day or time you come in, expect a VERY long wait. It compares to wait times of a sit down restaurant waiting. And it is ways slightly dirty. Such a bummer. I avoid going and actually drive few extra miles down the street to another store. Could be far better.

This is the worst Starbucks I have ever been to. Every time I have visited, they have been out of multiple items in their inventory. One time an employee told me that their location just never ordered the seasonal drinks so they were permanently«out» of those; another time they somehow ran out of caramel drizzle and classic sweetener, which are basic ingredients in multiple drinks. I attempted to call and speak to the manager about it because I felt bad for the employees who must have to deal with a lot of angry customers(like me) over an inventory issue that is not their fault, and he told me «oh yeah, we’re really bad at that.» !!! They’re the only coffee place within lunch-break distance of my work, but even so I have attempted to avoid giving them my business as much as possible after that.

Service here is always super slow. I’m not sure who the manager is but they need to get their staff together. They don’t know how to manage their inventory. Every time I come in they are out of something. This week they were out of the peach and mango iced tea lemonade plus pastry bags. I’ve never had issues like this at any other Starbucks. If you can go to another Starbucks do it, drive the extra 5 minutes.

As Starbucks locations go, this isn’t a great one. The floor is filthy and as I sit here I’m watching customers — not employees — wiping down tables. Service is lackluster without a greeting or a smile. The pastry case looks ravaged with no attempt to replenish. They are not up to date with seasonal drink offerings. Skip this one.

I know it’s not cool, but I like Starbucks. However, I like this location for reasons that are different from other locations that I prefer to frequent. The truth is that this location could be a little bit cleaner as so many people have written about, but it’s really not that bad. Mostly, I like that this location feels as if it is truly a party of the East Palo Alto community. Starbucks doesn’t have to be snobby or elitist. Here in EPA, while you’re drinking your frappuccino you’ll be sitting next to individuals of all ages and from all backgrounds. I often see local students hanging out after school, and then the next morning I see professionals getting ready to go to work. Maybe this doesn’t sound too different from other locations, but if you go to this location you’ll feel the diversity; and it is wonderful! Not only that but the staff handle the rush well and they are kind and respectful to all customers. If you’re looking for a Starbucks with a different vibe, but a positive one, this is the place for you.

I really like coming here to do some work for my business. Has great space to work in. There is a long table that is my favorite to work on. Because it has multiple power mats installed on it. So it’s great if your working with a groups of people. They make pretty good drinks here as well.

OMG. Arguably, I asked for it by returning to this location, even after I had it pinned as «inconsistent.» But nothing about today’s service was laudable. I don’t enjoy writing and leaving negative reviews, but sometimes ya gotta yield to that reporter’s instinct within. The( Unilocaling) public has to know! I like pumpkin bread. I’ll occasionally indulge in the 420-kcal treat.(Those are chemists’ calories, not nutritionists’. 1 nutritionist cal = 1000 chemist cal = 1kcal, FYI.) At the marked price of $ 2.45, it isn’t outrageous. So I requested one, warmed up. Sullen cashier rang it up, showing $ 2.75. I pointed out the discrepancy between the marked price and the one shown on the register. Said cashier removed pricing label from the display case, confirming that I had read the Starbucks sign advertised price correctly. After some extensive consultation, a more senior associate apologized and rejoined that the prices had increased. So I would have to pay $ 2.75 for the pumpkin bread marked $ 2.45. At this point I was inclined to explain the Uniform Commercial Code(UCC) to these young ‘uns. But out of respect for the queue, I refrained. Suffice it to say that after a short but truculent exchange, my pumpkin bread was re-priced thirty cents cheaper, at the marked price. No stars awarded for that. The associate then replaced the outdated pricing label in the case. I pointed out that, were I in his position, I’d leave the label with the wrong price out of the display. After pondering this a few quizzical moments, cashier did that. The only way the transaction could go downhill from there was in its fulfillment. It did. I watched for five excruciating minutes as the oven sporadically heated others’ food. These were folks who ordered before me, so no complaint about line-jumping. But the poor utilization of the oven, with many customers waiting, left plenty of room for process improvement. Eventually my pumpkin bread was duly warmed. One star awarded for service! Finally the senior associate stealthily placed my warmed pumpkin bread, designated PKB, on the bar. No announcement of «pumpkin bread on the bar» or «your food is ready, sir.» Fail! Hence this lousy review.

Since it’s close to work, i come here quite often. Today, I saw the flat white sign and decided to try a small one. The nicest barista decided to offer a 4oz trial cup for free. Though very tiny but it warms my heart. Thank you again!

Tiny Starbucks compared to many of the newer ones these days. Looks like it maybe going through the new aesthetic standards the current ones are going for. GOt an iced tea lemonade as it was somewhat warm outside. Hung out for a few minutes and they pumped it out. It’s full of folks on laptops and somewhat quiet for mid day. Good for drop in and go more than the ambiance I feel

I am so disappointed with this location. I come into this Starbucks most days and spend hours at a time in there. I have never once been acknowledged as a return customer or asked how my day was, even though I can Identify each member of staff. The cashiers rarely make eye contact and could care less if I order a drink or not. When I visit this location in the evening the staff are unprofessional and shout loudly among themselves in Spanish while serving customers. As someone who unfortunately is unable to speak Spanish it makes me extremely paranoid and uncomfortable. If you should need to use the restroom after about 8pm then you are out of luck as they close it off using the sugar and milk station as a barrier. I have had to leave the store on many occasions to use the bathroom elsewhere. I have been a customer of Starbucks for 15 years and a manager of a store in the UK I am extremely disappointed.

If I ever met anybody that had not been to a Starbucks ever and they asked ‘What is a Starbucks’? I would point them to this Starbucks — as being the most average, prototypical, not-outstanding-in-anyway Starbucks. The location, the decoration, the layout, the service, the product selection, everything — standard Starbucks. The people working here were not unfriendly, they were doing their job. One thing I really wish they had was a Clover machine. Not sure if there is a high enough demand for it in this location. They have some outdoor seating, but the view is well… errr…not that great. parking lot, McDonald’s, Ikea and a bunch of other retail. Beautiful sound of Highway 101 in the background.

Starbucks is convenient when you’re in the area and can’t locate other premium coffee retailers in the area. Drinks here are usually mediocre. Drinks are usually way to sweet so I tend to reduce the sweetness of my beverages by 50%. Service is okay. Cell phone service can be spotty at the register making it hard to load your Starbucks card on your phone!
