Food was fresh but kind of bland. Really nothing special

This place is delicious, consistent and very fast. They make the food fresh when you order it unlike some other places in the area. We have had: Crab Ragoons: DELICIOUS. If you like lots of sauce to dip ask for 2 sauces because it is not served with much sauce for the amount of crab ragoons. Hot and sour soup: If you are looking for clear your sinuses level of spice try asking for it to be made extra spicy. Otherwise it is nice and spicy without making your eyes and nose run. The crispy noodles are fresh and made in house. Wonton soup: Typical wonton soup. Nothing super special but after an experience with disintegrating wontons at a nearby place this soup stands out as a consistent good soup. General Tso’s chicken: High average. Good quality chicken. The fried rice isn’t my favorite but again you can tell it’s made fresh. If you get the combo it comes with a giant egg roll. Chicken dumplings: We preferred the steamed to the fried. Both were good though! ONLYDOWNSIDE: CLOSEDMONDAY’S.

I’ve heard that the delivery Chinese food in this region is much better than LA, and I have to admit, it’s true. My bf and I were staying at the Uniondale Marriot to watch the King’s vs. Islanders hockey game at Nassau Coliseum nearby, and were in the mood for some Chinese. Ka Wang didn’t have many reviews or pictures, but their menu looked ok, so we took a chance. I’m glad that we did! We ordered: Pu pu platter for 2 ~$ 12 — 2HUGE eggrolls, two spare ribs, two fried shrimp, two beef skewers, and two won tons. Everything was really delicious and crispy. I especially loved the beef skewers. Very tender and juicy. hot and sour soup, pint ~$ 3: A-OK. 3 stars. Black bean sauce shrimp, pint ~$ 6: I love that the Chinese delivery spots in this area offer pints of most of their protein dishes. It’s cheaper and you get to try more things! Roast pork and broccoli, pint ~$ 6: Yum! Thinly sliced bbq pork with broccoli. Walnut Shrimp $ 12 — I wasn’t expecting such big shrimps. Usually this dish cost at least $ 15 in LA, so for $ 12.99 I wasn’t expecting much, but it was great! HUGE shrimp. To better describe it, the shrimps were the same size as the fortune cookies. I took a photo of it :) We had a feast for around $ 50 including tip. If you are ever in this area, I highly recommend Ka Wang.

The egg drop soup and chicken wings are really good. The lowmein is type bland, somewhat over cooked. Over all enjoyed their food except for the lowmein. Fast delivery, they do accept debit/credit cards which is great.

The food here is always excellent, very fresh, and is done exactly how I like it. The owner is always very friendly and welcoming when you come in and pick up the food. The place is also very clean inside. I will definitely continue to come back. Great job!

Of the many Chinese restaurants in my area, Ka Wang is my favorite. Staff is very friendly, will alter any dish and make it exactly as you asked. We always enjoy our meals,

The place is exceptionally small, with just 3 tables, so takeout is really the best option. The food is actually quite good and you can see them prepare it for you, right when you order it. Pretty average prices. Not a bad stop if you’re starving and don’t feel like eating fast food like Taco Bell.
