Unbelievable food with great service. The chicken tikka and super platters are not of this world, the traditional meals are also exquisite and this is a great place to go too for daily lunches and dinners

This would have been 5 stars if not for the disorganized and slow service. The food was really solid. Chicken biryani = no complaints. Pakola has a nice smoothness, and kulifi maybe my new favorite ice cream. It just has a richer and more roasted taste.

For being only restaurant in sight from the bus stop for Nassau University Hospital, not bad.

The cafeteria in the hospital(where I work) closed about 5 months ago, leaving all of us with very few options for lunch. This place is right across the street from the hospital and has, on many occasions, saved us from expensive, bland food from the coffee shop located inside of the hospital. The kabab rolls here are so good! They’re only $ 3 and they are heavenly. The kabab isn’t overly spicy, so you can actually taste the well-seasoned meat. The best part is the cilantro-yogurt(I think?) dressing that they pour over it. In addition, they have Indian sweets and sell various Indian groceries. They even have soft drinks from the motherland! It really sucks that the cafeteria had to close, but sometimes when I’m enjoying a kabab roll, I’m glad it did. It’s that good.
