80+ boards in stock, fully loaded wetsuit room, sanuks, reefs, board shorts, fins and all the surf accessories you’ll need like Gopro mounts and waterproof iPhone casings. They also do board repairs. The owner, Dave, really knows his stuff and won’t sell you something you’re not going to have fun on or have a hard time riding. The shop was recently renovated and really looks good. Great to see Rick’s thriving and the core surf scene of Long Island still in the hands of surfers!

Went to Ricks for a little advice on a wetsuit for fishing. The shop was recommended by another who didn’t have the info I was looking for. I got wetsuit 100 and 101 classes right there in the store. I learned more in one hour listening than the four or five I put in online reading. Plus the guy, I don’t know if it was Rick, was super friendly, nice and knowledgeable. No pressure to buy, no bias… it was great. Can’t wait to go back and buy my first suit.
