I stayed 2 nights over July 4th weekend in the carriage house. The beds were not very comfortable and room pretty small. The pool was nice, so were the linens and bathrooms, but the bedroom itself was not great. The service was good, as was the bkfst. Given the prices and expectations, I would stay somewhere else next time.

This is not your typical B & B.
My wife and I got in late and enjoyed a few cocktails and a fire in the common room of the Carriage House. The place was beautifully renovated. In the morning we almost missed breakfast because our bed was SO comfortable. At breakfast I had blueberry pancakes and huevos rancheros. The staff here was very friendly and able to accommodate all our needs. Not what I expected at all. We also spoke with the staff who were able to suggest a winery for us to visit. I can’t wait to come back in the summertime!

What an amazing place. We spent our wedding weekend here and the service, spa treatments and beautiful rooms were the perfect complement to an amazing wedding. Thanks to Antenellla and her staff for a 5 star weekend.

Burlingame, CA
I went to the Baker House for a massage at their spa. It’s an old house from 1648 so you really don’t expect to step through a doorway into this modern spa cavern. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to jump into the pool or tub since there was another massage appointment after mine. Instead I hung out in their garden which was serene.
It would be fun to spend a night, although it’s not really a kid friendly place so it might be a while before that happens.
