The place was amazing! The service and the food were wonderful. Everything brought to the table from cocktails to wine and fish to pasta were absolutely delicious. Insist on sitting outside if it’s warm enough!!!

Place is not on its game tonight. I am embarrassed that I brought guests here. Service was awful. If I could give no stars I would.

A pretty place with a decent kitchen and a very reasonable early night prix fixe menu. In the summer, the view, the setting, the marina, the sunset makes the meal exceptional. The food is good. The service okay. For the prix fixe menu, it’s absolutely worth a try.

This is normally a good place to have dinner in the Hamptons. But stay away from their«brunch» offerings. They charged $ 30 a head for a Mother’s Day Brunch that you would find any Motel 6 breakfast spread. Total rip off to their customers. Shame on the owner of this restaurant. He should know better!

Great restaurant, excellent service and the food was delicious, though a bit pricey. Beautiful views and friendly staff. Staying on our boat in the harbor, so we plan to try the bar tonight-packed last night, and heard good comments.

Came here for dinner on a Saturday and it was very good: Pistachio oysters Shrimp tacos Ribs Pistachio crusted halibut Chicken with mushroom sauce Everything above was totally delicious, particularly the oysters, halibut, and chicken. I found that the drinks were on the pricey side($ 15 each), but I guess they can get away with it during the peak of summer. Amazing view, super yummy food, definitely worth a visit.

Been going to the Harbor Bistro(which we affectionately refer to as «the harb») with my family for several summers. We always mark the opening of the Harbor Bistro as the beginning of the summer season in the Hamptons. Dinner there, with their lovely water-view, is always a treat. The menu is eclectic and the food is fresh and well-cooked every time. The service is usually awesome but can sometimes become a little impersonal when they are slammed and busy — which is totally understandable.

I love that I can get a great meal, excellent service aaaaand a view that won’t quit WITHOUT any snooty attitude or breaking the bank! Harbor Bistro is one of those special finds that locals flock to and where out of town visitors return night after night. They have an eclectic seafood menu with a strong Asian/French/Mediterranean influence and their 3-course prix fixe for $ 29 is a freaking steal. For starters, my favorites are the Mongolian BBQ ribs, chimichurri shrimp tacos, tuna poke and crispy calamari. Good luck trying to pick just one! My go-to dish is the rigatoni bolognese with ground veal, beef, pork, parmesan and truffle oil. Holy cow, I could seriously eat this all day, every day. The hibachi salmon, the ribeye, and pistachio crusted tilapia(with awesome risotto cakes!) are also a sure thing. And for dessert, the profiteroles are a MUST! Seriously, a cream puff drizzled with chocolate and filled with ice cream is pretty much a guaranteed good time. And because one dessert is absolutely not acceptable when dining out, my absolute favorite is the crispy banana spring rolls with ice cream. Talk about a game changer. It’s hot, it’s cold, it’s fried and crispy, banana-y and topped with vanilla ice cream, caramel and macadamia nuts. Damn. Best seats are on the outdoor deck! and it’s perfect for date night, celebrating a special occasion, and even just a casual meal. On Friday nights, there’s local live music and the place feels like a party in someone’s waterfront home.(Because I know TONS of people who live by the water in the Hamptons… haha notsomuch). Too bad Harbor Bistro is only open during the season :(I guess I’ll just have to mark my calendar for 2014!

Nothing like coming here watching the sunset while you enjoy your dinner that’s paired with your favorite glass of wine. We came here as group of 4, reservations made earlier in the day and still had to wait for about 5 minutes to get seated. Luckily, we had a view of the marina and we’re too busy taking photos to notice. Once we took our seats we were presented with the wine menu, dinner menu and our server recited the specials. After that our server left little to be desired. Our server seemed to be new at this. He did not reappear for what seemed like 10 minutes bring us our bottle of wine. I was wondering if they were mashing the grapes for us. One of the members of our party has been here before and continually stated to me that this was not the norm here. He finally reappeared and we had the usual wine presentation but quickly decided to place our order since we did not want to have a long gap again. We were supplied with an assortment of bread and rolls where we each decided to pick our poison. The rolls were warm and fluffy. This began the change of my experience here. I started off with the lobster bisque soup and I just felt the cleansing of my pallette as I enjoyed every ounce of it. I often jump at the opportunity to have lobster bisque when I see it on a menu and it was worth it. For my entrée I had the Roasted Chicken Breast. It was cooked to perfection. The chicken was succulent and juicy. The last bite tasted as good as the first. Will I be back? Absolutely. The food was worth the little mishap with the server. Which is why I’m not giving this place 5 stars. But if you want a view and good food, this is your place.

One of the best total meals I’ve had in a long time, and we eat at some good restaurants in the city. The calamari was cooked just right with a very light batter. The mussels were just cooked and tender, with a fragrant coconut curry broth. The Jamaican Jerk Pork Tenderloin was tasty and moist. The Nutella Crème Brûlée was also pretty good. I had the latter three as part of the early bird $ 29 price fixe. I was happy as a clam(or mussel).

WOW! What an excellent place! We stayed at the Maidstone Marina and had dinner two nights in a row at this AWESOME restaurant The spare rib appetizer is one of the best things i’ve ever had. My boyfriend who doesn’t even LIKE pork ribs ordered 2 orders of them on the second night. Everything was presented very nicely, so much so that i took pictures of everything we ordered. I had a pistachio nut crusted tilapia which was great and a lemon cake dessert that i still drool about every time i think of it. I would recommend this place to anyone who hasn’t tried it. They’re only open in the summer months and open at 5. I’d recommend a reservation. It’s been 2 weeks since I’ve been there — Hopping on the boat tomorrow and going back again(worth the 1 ½ boat ride to get there!!)
