I can’t even comment on the food because I never placed the order. Their online menu is just ridiculous to place. On the flyer it says 15% off your first online order where was no where to be located to apply it to the order. I even went as far to call to see about and was getting a run around. Not worth the aggravation for this fast food. Ripped up the menu and you will never receive my business Stewarts!

I have been here when it was on Main Street. This has to be the worst Stewart’s I have ever been to. The food wasn’t very good. I ordered my food on the phone and went to pick it up. I had to wait for it to be ready, so I took a seat. There were SWARMS of bugs all over the place. Gnats or Fruit Flies. Something like that. There was a guy sitting at the counter eating. Who could eat in a place like that? No matter where I moved there were bugs. I went outside and there were no bugs. I said something to the girl at the counter. She said they just sprayed for bugs. I find that hard to believe.

This is the second time Stewart’s has messed up my order. I ordered a chicken cheese steak with mayo and ketchup. That means chicken cheese mayo ketchup with lettuce tomatoes onions! Because that’s what the description on the menu says! I didn’t ask for them to leave anything out. I’m basically eating chicken with ketchup mayo and cheese on bread. And I payed more for it because it’s a special.

Fat sandwiches! Dasrite! Fat sandwiches. Fat Cat, Fat Moon, Fat Koko, Fat Falafel, Veggie Fat Cat, Fat Indian. Just like Rutgers grease trucks, but without the«grease». Pizza! And gourmet pizza, and PASTA! Breakfast served all day! And subs(which they sadly call hoagies, but at least they don’t call them grinders.) And all the other great Stewarts stuff. Fries, onion rings, burgers, sandwiches. Including eggplant parm. As a vegetarian, most Stewarts leave me limited to grilled cheese, veggie burger, and ice cream, but this one will keep me coming back for more. We got a grilled Italian wrap sandwich and a veggie fat cat. Milkshake to die for, and the root bear float with vanilla ice cream was a dream. Friendly service. We will return many times I’m sure. Stewart’s root beer is what makes this a destination, and it’s really that good. But making this Stewart’s a breakfast place(omelettes, waffles, pancakes) and acceptable Italian pizza restaurant on top of it was brilliant. Yep, connoli, brownies, and cookies. Don’t miss it!

I have ordered before and the food has been good! This time the shake tasted like cheese & water! Disgusting!!! For food I ordered for NOCHEESE on my bagel and egg sandwich. It came with melted cheese spread all over the bagel! Last it took close to 50 minutes for the delivery. I’m sure it was not the nice delivery guys fault.

New location on Rt.18, Very convenient! I was surprised to see that Stewarts had a lot of choices on their menu, took us a while to make a decision. I dined in with a friend and our experience was a little less enjoyable due to the mediocre service provided by their entire staff of inconsiderate teenagers. We were told to take a seat(with an attitude) any place and someone would bring us menus, and of course the only tables available were dirty and sticky. Our waitress comes over hands us the menus and says she will come back to «wipe up» our table, she returns with a wet rag, wipped around but still leaving the tabletop wet and sticky, she also leaves a pile of used up napkins on the side table next to us which was just annoying… The food came out delicious we shared chili cheese fries, I had the fat Elvis, and she had the stewarts fat cat BUT due to the lack of customer service I doubt I will dine in again. I would attempt delivery just to give this place another chance since the food was good.

This place is as good as it gets. They have EVERYTHING you could want. Chicken nuggets and pasta for my kids, Fat Sandwiches for the teenagers and their friends(right across the street from the high school too! My parents love the chili hot dogs of course and I got an apple chicken salad OMG it was delicious and FRESH. I will be back to try the paninis too. The place is clean and the staff is soo friendly and helpful. My waitress was young but very professional and informative. They even deliver! I’ll be back for more :)

Every time I’ve come to Stewart’s the experience has been great. The staff is friendly, courteous and very accommodating. The food is freshly made and the variety of choices puts all other Stewart’s to shame. Everything my family has ordered has been delicious. Keep up the good work. I recommend it to anyone.

Courteous service but the food was awful. I am a huge Stewart’s fan but this place does the name no justice. The floats were sloppily put together, made a mess of the table. No napkins offered so I had to keep running up for them myself. Chicken was so dry, dipping sauces were awful, and the restaurant stunk like a dirty dish rag. I couldn’t wait to get the check and run out of there. Probably set a record for how long I held my breathe. Stay away from this place.

Same Stewart’s that was on spotswood/Englishtown road just moved to different location. Much better. Brighter and cleaner. Still same great food. I actually ordered 2 hot dogs yum. They still have their root beer and the rest on tap. I hope this does really well. I loved the old location but I hope this one does better. Although not as cozy and homey as the other one, still great food. More space and better servers. Also has more room to do his pizzas. Same great menu with more variety and definitely still does the«fat sandwiches» we all know and love. Awesome. I can’t wait to go back even tho its gonna take time getting used to this location. I miss the counter bar and swinging stools. Lol. It’s mostly tables and chairs. Not as much sitting space and a few table and chairs outside. I don’t know if they still deliever like they did. They also do take out. So come on down and grab yourself a chilli cheese dog or a jersey fat sandwich.

Called this restaurant to order food. Someone picked up the phone and hung up on me. That should’ve been the first clue. Anyway, I gave them the benefit of doubt and called back again. The man on the phone was courteous and took my order. That made me feel good. He said about 15 minutes to get the food ready. I hop in my truck and got there about 20 – 25 minutes after I called in the order. I go up to the counter and there seemed to be some confusion about my order. I should’ve said oops, wrong restaurant and walked out. Anyway, I paid for my order only to be told to have a seat and they will bring my order out when it is ready. I wait for another 20 – 25 minutes. That was about 30 minutes *after* I placed the order over the phone, for a total of 50 – 55 minutes. I was livid at this point. I walk up to the counter again and demanded to know where my food is. They go in the kitchen and magically my food is ready. The bag doesn’t feel hot and I complain that the food feels like has been sitting on the counter for a long time. They assure me they put hot food in the bag. I go to the truck and check one of the sandwiches. My mistake again. I should’ve checked ALL of them. Some of them were hot, but most of them were room temperature. The food itself was plentiful for the money. I would give food 3 stars. Probably add another star if it was HOT. Service was bad, but courteous(scratches head). You cannot let someone who called in an order wait that long. And I blame management totally for this oversight and disconnect and lack of training. I probably won’t be eating here again, but if I do, I am certainly not calling my order in.
