Dear BFS,
Now I hear that my neighbor is suing your «business partner» for the same horrific tactic you’ve used against me. I don’t see myself running back into your arms anytime soon. Wise up. You once had a respected name in these parts, time to change your ways.

Have been using this location for many years. They always stand behind their work.

Crooks! They broke 2 studs on one wheel. Told me they were rusted. I showed them to 3 other repair places and I was told that there was no way that they broke by themselves. Had to be snapped by mechanic.

They always do their job here — and are always friendly when they submit a form for you. But I just hate these kind of established chains, because all they do is try to get MORE money out of you.
I was already paying around $ 500 for four new tires, rotation, alignment, and while I was waiting for it to be done, exhausted from a long day (it was around Thanksgiving) they came up to me to tell me that my battery needed changing, that it was low and wouldn’t last me very long. He showed me the paper/​numbers, and it didn’t seem as dire as he tried to make it sound. I haven’t had any trouble starting my car either. So I refused, because I wasn’t gonna tack on another $ 200 bucks to do it prematurely. When I said no, he got kind of a weird look on his face, and it kind of rubbed me the wrong way. Moments later, I heard someone else tell an old lady that her battery needed changing.
Now, that might have been a total coincidence, but it almost feels like they were targeting females, trying to scare them into thinking their battery would die and they’d be stranded. Smart strategy if that were the case, but annoying. Every time I go there for a diagnostic –mandatory before they do any work — they have a huge list of things that needs to be «fixed». So every time I go there, apparently my car is falling apart. Please.
Plenty of parking out in front, and a decent waiting area.
Right by Brunswick Square Mall so you can shop, grab food, or chill at Barnes Noble/​Panera while waiting.

The guys here are super accommodating! I came in with a flat tire in need of a whole new set just hours before they closed. Typically they would ask people to come back another day when they would have more time but seeing how freaked out I was they stayed late to help me out.

Very unhappy with this place. I brought my car in today to get a new tire, Maira called and told me to come pick it up. When I arrived they tried to up-​sell me a $ 20 fee to reset the TPMS light. (Tire Light) I told them that I have bought 4 tires from them in the last 2 months and my daughter’s vehicle was also there at the same time and they should have just reset it for me.
In my opinion that is terrible customer service and they obviously don’t care about customer retention. For $ 20 they have lost a family for life. We currently have 5 cars in our family that we have always gone to them for tires and other things. No we will never go back to them again!

Was turned away from service because i did not make an appointment, I have been a walk-​in customer here for over 15 years and made a special effort to get there before 7am BUT was told to come back another day. Well guess what, I called another firestone shop, told them my experience this morning at east brunswick firestone and asked them if they could help? Eric was shocked by my experience at east brunswick firestone and told me to come in that he would make room for me. I arrived at Firestone in Edison Nj by 7:40am. I arrived and Eric took care of my car needs in a cordial and professional manner. Because of this incident at east brunswick firestone, after being a loyal customer for many years I can no longer be a customer at this location anymore! Thank you Eric and I hope to do business with you for a long time to come. East Brunswick Firestone, you need to be more flexible in order NOT to lose another customer BECAUSE you lost me and my 3 vehicles and all references that I have. David De Leon

I went in for an oil change and tire rotation. They told me that my rear brakes needed to be replaced. They said that both my rear calipers were shot and the pads 100% worn on one side and almost gone on the other. I am a bit handy and could not afford the $ 760 to replace all of this on my car. So i ordered pads and rotors from RockAuto for $ 56 for both rear wheels delivered; hoping the calipers were not that bad. When I took the brakes apart, both calipers were in perfect working condition and the side they indicated worn 100% on the brake pads only had 20% (thus 80% still good) worn the other side was 50% worn. What a rip off and blatant lying to their customers. I understand these shops need to make money but please do not fleece your customers in the process. I am so glad I fixed my brakes unnecessarily for $ 56 dollars instead of being mugged for $ 756!!! On top of that the rear wheel where they calmed was 100% on the brake pad; they forgot to tighten two of the lug nuts, so I am just glad the wheel did not come off! This place sucks… I really hope they did my oil change and not returned my car in the same condition I brought it in as… stay away unless you have money to burn and enjoy being lied to.
