Amazing local spot. Agree with comments about not being turned off by strip mall location. It is delicious. They handled a party of 13 with impeccable service, which would not be easy in that space as it is fairly small. Three of us got the salmon with mashed potatoes, broccoli and carrots. Clean plate for all of us, light, flavorful and cooked to perfection. My husband is a huge veal parm fan, not on the menu but they made it for him without hesitation. Fried calamari was crisp and served with a delicious marinara. They had a rolled pork with cheese that looked divine. Ceasar salad served with anchovies, a plus in our book. the rest of the group ordered pasta, chicken… rave reviews all around. One of the best meals I have had in awhile. Not to be missed.

Absolutely delicious! We were staying in Vail but took the recommendation to try this restaurant – don’t be put off by the strip mall – it is a hidden jewel! The best meal we’ve had on our trip all week and not at the outrageous Ski resort prices! Our waitress offered us her suggestions for entrees and they were all excellent! We want to go back and try other offerings on their extensive menu! Wonderful house wine – at an awesome price! Can’t wait to go back – the service can’t be beat!

Thanks to my trusty Unilocal app we stopped into Ti Amo on our way to Glenwood Springs. We walked in around 8pm on and Thursday night and Ti Amo was bustling. The host asked us if we had reservations and we didn’t, but they happened to have a couple tables open up right as we walked in. Score. We were seated in a cozy corner booth and it was perfect. You could tell Ti Amo is a favorite among the Vail locals, not a touristy place at all. We started with the polenta and fungi and it was excellent, I love mushrooms and they were cooked perfectly in a very flavorful sauce. The entrée is served with a soup or salad and we decided on both since we were sharing the pasta. The house salad was just your typical salad, but the minestrone was some of the best I’ve had in quite awhile. Our entrée the Scaloppine di Pollo was very good(can’t go wrong with artichokes capers and sun dried tomatoes) and the portion was perfect to split. We would definitely stop in to Ti Amo again for a lovely Italian meal.

Recommended by my fiend who stays in Vail often. Cozy restaurant, very friendly service, and fair pricing. I had a Cesar salad, chicken parm, and a Cosmo. All were delicious along with the complimentary bread they bring. Would gladly eat here again.

Should be number one in the Vail Valley. You would be hard pressed to find better Italian food, atmosphere, friendly, efficient wait staff. It is truly our favorite. Don’t want to share our secrets but go there, be surprised, and totally pleased.

We would give them a 4 ½ stars. We eat once or twice when visiting the area and have always been happy with the meal and the service. We had the veal piccata with sun dried tomatoes and chicken farfalle, both were very good. The cream of egg plant soup was also very good.

We eat here a few times a year and the service is always wonderful. Their sauces are so flavorful they could be served with just a spoon. The atmosphere makes you forget you are in a strip mall and feels like an Italian trattoria. Their gnocchi is so light and airy it melts in your mouth. There is not an appetizer I would not order. The veal is so tender no knife is necessary. The pasta is a perfect al dente. Definitely worth a visit or even make it a regular stop.

Food was great. The service from our waiter was good. The owner Scott stopped by and was very hospitable. The reason we are giving a 3 star is the hostess. Saying she was rude would be putting it lightly.

Excellent ambience, delicious food, good service. The gum pretty poster was out of this world. The pork chop was tasty! Good wine selection. Book weeks in advance, it was packed!

Authentic Italian with a great wine list and considerate service. The best food in vail valley hands down. Since this area is so touristy, you usually pay too much for mediocre food. This is a great experience with phenomenal food. Get a reservation.

A good experience all around! Friendly service, warm, inviting and cozy ambience, and delicious food. They serve warm bread to start with herb infused olive oil. We ordered calamari which was awesome — it comes with fried spinach and a spicy marinara sauce. I had the gnocchi with Gorgonzola cheese sauce which was decadent — very rich and savory. My husband had the veal parmigiana(not on the menu but they’ll make it if you ask) over linguine. The sauce was delicious, the veal was tasty, and the pasta was wonderful. For dessert we had chocolate and pistachio gelato which really hit the spot(big scoops!) and the cappuccino torte which was decadent as well. The only thing that left much to be desired was the Caesar salad — a little lame haha. But everything else was awesome and we will definitely be back several times!

Ti AMO is the best Italian dining in the vail Valley and worth the drive out of town. We have been going here for years and have never been disappointed. Start with the Caprese and Calamari. The tomatoes are ripe in the Caprese and the Calamari is mixed with some great flash fried spinach leaves… Both are delicious. The Mista salad is better than their Caesar salad. For the main dish, we had Scallopini Arancia and it was delicious as well. My daughter and wife love the gnocchi. The crème brûlée was as good as we have had anywhere. Service was a little slow, but the place was very busy. This is a perfect place for a family dinner or a couples-night out.

I’ve been living here for a couple of years and had never gone to Ti Amo. Perhaps it was the unsuspecting exterior. A couple of girlfriends and I had a birthday celebration a few weeks ago and I was more than taken off guard. It’s larger than I expected. The food was fantastic and the service was excellent. I had the prosciutto panini and it was delicious. I probably could’ve finished it if it weren’t for those addicting italian nachos. Overall great vibes, service and food. Will be returning with my husband in tow!

Great food, great service, & a nice ambiance. My wife got the stuffed chicken and loved it. They have a $ 20 bottle of wine list which had good wines. It was great food and a reasonable price… Hard combination to find in Vail.

I am certain that the reviews for this restaurant are typically great! We made the reservation online through Open Table, we arrived on time and were immediately seated! Good for us, it was restaurant week! We received a free carafe of wine for every two entrees. There were five of us, and we each ordered something different. All the food was excellent, but it was agreed that the Osso Bucco special was spectacular! I had a seafood ravioli that was wonderful, not fishy, fresh pasta, fresh tasting seafood in a yummy sauce! My husbands veal piccata was outstanding. We had one vegetarian in our group, and he loved his choice as well. They also have some gluten free choices. I did not have desert, but the group split a cappuccino torte and tira misu and there was not one bite left! Free wine, great food, excellent service, and a ride home compliments of Seth at the Westin! What a great evening!

We always visit Ti Amo when in the Vail area. Well worth the 10 minute drive on I-70. It’s our favorite by far. And the fall dinner special is such a special treat, free carafe of wine if you order two entrees. We love the ravioli con funghi, with marsala cream sauce and organic mushrooms. Also the gnocchi with Gorgonzola cream sauce. What a wonderful meal! Service was excellent!

My wife and I had dinner here this evening. From exterior the restaurant appears rundown. You’re in for a surprise once you enter — great ambiance. And the walleye dinner with capers over pasta was about the best meal we’ve had in Vail valley over the past month. Reservations needed.

This is a nice change from the village — a small Italian place in a strip mall less than 10 minutes from the village. It was recommended to us by some Vail locals. Once you walk in, it’s lively and traditional with the red/white checkered tablecloth feel(without the actual tablecloths). They have a full bar, but it was hard to resist their list of wines $ 20/bottle, which is ridiculously cheap. The nebbiolo we got was really good for $ 20. Food: — Lentil and fennel sausage soup: good fennel sausage flavor, very savory, not many lentils — Polenta: fried and crisped on the outside, topped with braised mushrooms. The mushrooms had good wine flavor but were a bit oily for me — Caesar salad with scallops: bay scallops were crisped on the outside, and the salad was really big. I was hoping for something like U10 scallops, but these were good in flavor nonetheless — Fruitti Di Mare: well cooked linguine, lots of plump seafood, loved the shrimp, could have used a little more spice — Veal scallopini: probably the best dish of the night — thinly pounded tender veal with prosciutto and a good red wine sauce served over angel hair — Risotto al funghi: lots of mushrooms, surprisingly light For dessert, we had a pistachio gelato(huge for $ 4) and a nutella crêpe(not much nutella flavor.), but the desserts were generous in size and good for sharing. Unfortunately, they will be closing the next 2 months for renovations. I would definitely come back next time I have a car in Vail since it’s a cute family owned neighborhood spot with solid Italian comfort food and cheap wines.

We have a tradition of going to Ti Amo for Christmas Eve but have missed the past two years(2012 and 2013) because we have been in Mexico. And man, were we shocked tonight at how awful Ti Amo has become. We had made reservations well in advance and showed up promptly. The host asked a server to seat us at a particular table which had been reserved for us to which the server responded«oops, I just sat that table». The server then scrambled to put together a table in the bar for us. Not a huge deal, but slightly irritating. The host asked us for our coats and because there were others behind us, he placed them on a chair behind him(this will be noteworthy later). Our waitress was curt and callous and seemed unfamiliar with the menu. When one of my young sisters asked if she could do just a simple kids pasta with red sauce, the waitress responded rudely that the dishes were«made to order» so she wasn’t sure. Does she know what made to order means?! That would mean they would absolutely be able to accommodate my little sister’s basic request. When the food arrived we were extremely disappointed. 5 out of the 6 of us didn’t hate our meals but we certainly did not love them. But my mother’s Risotto alle Zafferano was absolutely horrific. It was a $ 32 unpalatable disappointment. At this point we decided the tradition would end of coming here for Christmas Eve but what happened next is what triggered my desire to write this post. We got up to leave and went to the host to ask for our coats. He asked for our ticket and we told him we had not gotten one because he had placed them on a chair behind him. He lead us to the«coat check» and we were appalled. There was a MOUNTAIN of coats laying on the FLOOR! The coat check closet had a minimum of 50 empty hangers on two levels yet only about 4 coats were hanging and at least 20 were in this pile on the floor! How disgusting! The host started rifling through the pile and finally said to my father, who walks with a cane, «I can’t find them, why don’t you take a look». I was utterly appalled. After my father had found our coats at the middle of the pile we rushed out and will never be returning. Overall, our service was poor from start to finish and the food was less than amazing.
