Just had Thanksgiving dinner and the restaurant was freezing. They claimed it couldn’t be warmed because the house is so old, but it certainly was not nice for a cozy dinner. Food was good and service was quality. Overall a fail.

Outstanding dinner, service and ambiance. We could actually hear each other speaking. Whatever it cost, it wasn’t enough. A must do culinary event when visiting Beaver Creek.

One of my favorite restaurants. Quaint, romantic, intimate ambiance. Great food, you can taste the love and creativity! Professional yet warm service. I love that it is still family run and not ruled by Vail Resorts.

Everything was perfect! Food was delicious, the dover sole and halibut were cooked perfectly and desert was as good as any we’ve had. Was nervous because saw negative reviews on price and portions– but portions were more than enough and price is what I would expect for area. There are a few menu items on the higher end per entrée($ 44 – 48) but likely worth it.

We had a lovely and delicious meal at mirabelle. The Dover sole and halibut were delicious and the chocolate molten cake was worth every calorie. Mitch was very attentive and funny. Great night!

The food was amazing. My duck breast entrée was perfectly cooked and the lobster bisque was one of the best I’ve ever had. Even better than the food, though, was the service. My waiter was good, but really impressive was their service after I left. I had accidentally left some items in a bag under the table. They offered to send them to me at home in Dallas! Amazing customer service. I will definitely come again

This was the first restaurant we went to on our first night there. It is a beautiful little house that felt very cozy. Everything we ate was good and the service was fine, but there was nothing that I can remember about the meal that stood out. It felt very average. I don’t think you can go wrong by going here but there are a few other places in BC that will wow you.

Almost dropped it to a 4 for Service but the food makes up for it. Great fois gras. Sole was also good. Strong showing in the dessert course as well. Waiter was over the top on his presentation and seemed to drag on a bit… Will always go here on our trips to the Beav. Agree one of the best year after year.

We were extremely disappointed. The location is cute, the hostesses were polite, but our server was dreadful. The food is delicious and the portions are diminutive. Be prepared for a large bill if you want a full meal. We almost left after seeing the prices on the menu, but decided to splurge and see what they had to offer. My fiancé and I each ordered an entrée, and eventually we’re offered a teeny tiny hors d’œuvre that was amazing and very expensive, so we did not order anything additional. Both the chicken dish and the bison steak we ordered were very good so we ate every bit, but we were both hungry after finishing. We declined dessert but were shown the dessert cart anyway. After declining again and asking for our check we were ignored for an additional 15 to 20 minutes. Leftovers from home in the hotel microwave has been a better experience.

Anyone who visits beaver Creek needs to go to Mirabelle. Probably top 3 restaurant in town. Simply outstanding service, great drinks and delicious food. We loved the ambience as well. It’s what you expect in Beaver Creek. Definitely worth checking out and we’ll be back!

Mirabelle is my most favorite restaurant I’ve ever eaten at in my whole entire life. We did the tasting menu and added a couple of things on & got a bottle of wine. Amazing seating/atmosphere/service/… good lord I hate that it’s a place we went to on a vacation & isn’t located around the corner :( Everything was perfect. We will go back to Mirabelle’s the next time we are in Colorado. even if we are an hour away.

Felt compelled to write a review for this place — Mirabelle was, hands down, the best culinary experience of my life. Truly transformative in terms of educating me about what food can be. No element of the evening was anything less than perfect: from the food, to the drinks, to the service, to the ambiance. I’d say the food was the real star player, but that would be doing a disservice to the rest of the factors that contributed to such a wonderful dining experience. You can come here and literally order anything on the menu — you will not be disappointed — but the best thing I can recommend is the chef’s choice of courses(I forget the actual title on the menu; EDIT: looked it up and it’s called«Le Menu Gourmand»). Make no alterations or substitutions; do not stray from how the courses are designed to be enjoyed. Here at Mirabelle, the chef is the teacher and you are the student there to learn. If you let him guide you — and, moreover, educate you — through the evening bite-by-bite, you will not leave unhappy — I guarantee it. 5 well-deserved stars.

Everything about our meal was truly fantastic. We had dinner here with our kiddos on our last night of vacation and we were thoroughly impressed. Upon arriving, the ambiance is quaint and mountain-elegant. They even had a small, quiet«room» for the four of us. The hostess and all the servers were incredibly gracious and knowledgeable. The steak is one of their signature dishes, and it is deserving of it’s title. After tasting a bit of everyone’s plate, though, we wished we could have returned the next night to try more of what we couldn’t while there! For a fantastic meal while in Beaver Creek, check out Mirabelle!!!

I was treated to a dinner at Mirabelle. Loved the place and the storyline. Great chef, etc. Nothing came together, they never got the food to the right person, left off listed items from three dishes, the tenderloins were overlooked i had been waiting for the right restaurant and Chef to try wagyu beef so i ordered it with Foie grad for $ 90 unfortunately was uninspired at best. I had very high hopes and they did not deliver. The place had all the ingredients, but just could not make it work they night.

Just past the sentried gates to Beaver Creek on the right sits a charming old farmhouse which has been restored into quiet enclave of exquisite service, warm hospitality and five star dining. Owned and operated by Daniel Joly, the only Certified Belgian Master Chef in the United States along with his gracious wife, Nathalie, who floats through the dining room to greet guests and ensure optimal service, this place is a gem. The menu is classic French/Belgian updated for modern healthy palates with an emphasis on presentation, taste and creativity. My group of three saw a couple of things on the menu which we did not want to miss, but couldn’t decide on what else, so we asked the chef to create a custom multi course tasting and surprise us. Surprised we were! We started off with a trio of mini appetizers which included foie gras with peaches, lightly smoked venison carpaccio and a baby arugula salad. Next came a tasting of grilled halibut and we followed with another course of wild boar. Everything was exquisitely plated and cooked to maximize flavor. Before we opted for the desserts on the movable tray, a cheese course came with amazing spiced raisin crisps to sample the brie, bleu, and sheeps cheese. A luscious Crème brûlée was almost the finish of a unbelievable meal, before we were treated to coffee and house made mini cookies and tiny meringues. Everything was perfect. When it comes to service, we had an amazing waiter who offered tips and explanations along the way and made sure that we never waited to have any plates or utensils cleared nor had much time between courses. His experience showed and was appreciated. We enjoyed a bottle of Kendall Jackson Summation Red Wine blend from 2010 and it was an elegant suggested accompaniment to the meal. The wine list itself was impressive, with modest choices available by the glass to price-no-object bottles to satisfy the connoisseur. Nathalie stopped by the table a couple of times through the dinner to chat and make us feel valued. Even Chef Joly came out once during the service to see how we enjoyed his creations. What struck me by the homey charm of the place was how many regulars visited the place and were greeted by name. Many have been coming for years. In fact, the Joly’s have worked here for 22 years and owned the historic farmhouse outright for 14 years. The staff works seamlessly in unison to make even a casual evening a special occasion. This is the finest restaurant in the Beaver Creek Valley if, not the greater Vail area. Highly recommended.

My husband and I visited Mirabelle for a date night while in the Vail area for a month on business. We were looking for a special place with unique ambience to enjoy a delicious dinner, and Mirabelle fit the bill. It is a charming historic home, and in the summer, the front planters are brimming with flowers. It is tucked away just inside the Beavercreek gates, to the left of the entrance. It would be easy to drive right past without noticing it, especially if you don’t know it is there. There is a nice patio, but since we arrived at dusk, we found it too chilly to dine outdoors, so we sat in the dining room. It was quiet the evening we dined there, with only two other parties in the dining room. They are known for game dishes and their signature Dover Sole. My husband opted for the tasting menu, which our waiter said would be a great introduction to the dishes they excel in. He started off with a duck carpaccio and found that the flavors grew on him with each bite. He was pleased with the elk medallions as well. I had the beef tenderloin, and while it was good, it did not rate as one of the best steaks I’ve had. It arrived at our table a bit undercooked and I had to return it to the kitchen. Even for an upscale restaurant, I found the portions to be underwhelming for the price, and I was left wanting more. We ended our meal with the molten chocolate cake served warm with pistachio ice cream, which was rich and delicious! It was a wonderful ending to our meal. Our server was attentive and friendly, but professional, and we were well taken care of. If you want to experience the charm of Mirabelle without the high price tag, I would recommend drinks in the bar area or dessert. The food is quite good, but unable to earn the accolade of one of my best dining experiences. But, if you are looking for a romantic dinner spot in the Beavercreek area and are undeterred by the spendy prices, Mirabelle is a good choice with fabulous historic charm and candlelit ambience.

We had previously visited Mirabelle eight years previously, and had a simply perfect evening. It is that visit that keeps this current rating at 4 stars rather than three, as our recent foray was more disappointing. Let me first note that the Mirabelle owners are nothing but a pleasure to work with, and I would likely consider this visit an aberration. Also, we visited with a large group, which can present unique challenges for any restaurant. Nevertheless… Our appetizers of salmon and cheese puffs were quite good. Things headed downhill from there, primarily due to a cranky waiter who 1) refused to serve sorbet only to a guest rather than a sorbet and peach crisp dessert, 2) upon mixing up salad orders at our table, lectured US that our seating configuration was incorrect, and 3) refused to serve decaf coffee after the meal. To her credit, the owner caught #1 and personally brought a sorbet selection — great save. My avocado and king crab salad was quite good, though the presence of avocado seemed much smaller than its billing on the menu. My grilled tuna entrée was totally overwhelmed by the tomato sauce — any meat could have been substituted. Lamb and sea bass entrees were highly rated by fellow guests. Chocolate fondant and peach crisp desserts were very good, with particularly high marks for the vanilla yogurt sorbet with the crisp. I hope to give Mirabelle a try again some day when in the area, and hope that some of the service issues can be addressed.
