Outback Steakhouse

Last time, about a month ago, we had a gift certificate, so we decided to treat ourselves. My dad’s lamb chops were delivered rare, despite the fact that he ordered them well done. I ordered garlic and butter sauce on my steak. There was none. Last Sunday, we decided to give it another try. We sat down to a table without silverware. No bread was served or silverware delivered until our entrees were plopped unceremoniously on the table. We had to ask for both, since apparently the server failed to notice this. The food was ok, but we decided to cross this restaurant off of our list unless it was an emergency, like there was to power in our house.

If there was a way to give NO STARS, I would! Used to be a nice place. Don’t know what happened but it’s gotten horrible. My husband requested a before dinner cocktail, Smirnoff on the rocks. He asked the waiter if they carried it and we were told YES. When the waiter came back to our table, 15 minutes later he told us they ran out. When we said «they didn’t run out, you don’t carry it» he responded-«Yeah». Things went down hill after that! Service was terrible. We were there for almost two hours. Food took VERY long to come out and the steak was overcooked. Couldn’t find the waiter to send back. NOT GOING BACK! Bring back the original owner and get rid of these owners. They don’t seem to care. This place has really gone down.

My boyfriend and i went for dinner on a weeknight, once we were seated it took about a good 15 minutes just for a server to come. We ordered beers and the waitress took another 15 – 20 minutes to come take our order. For an appetizer we ordered the infamous bloomin onion– which was very good minus the long strand of hair my boyfriend had pulled out of his mouth. I then found a tiny piece of hair on my side of the dish as well. When the waitress finally came to check on us we told her about the hair and she immediately got defensive and said «well its not my hair». She then apologized about it and told her she would take it off our bill. A manager never came to apologize or offer anything else– nothing. The waitress always seemed to be in a rush and would ask how our food is in passing. I had to catch her as she was passing by to ask for another beer for us from about 6 feet away, which both of our beers were sitting on the table empty and she never realized or asked if we would like another drink or even water. When she came back she only brought one beer and sAid «oh did you want two beers?»
The service was horrible, the food was decent minus the hair. But i will never come back. For the price, We would have much rathered spent our money elsewhere. Horrible horrible horrible.

I went here once with my family and friends and I loved it! First we ordered our drinks then we got nice fresh bread that was still hot and it tasted so amazing. Me and my friends ate 2 whole baskets because the bread was so good. When we got our dinner we were barely hungry because we filled up on bread, but we still ate and it was very good. The service is awesome and the atmosphere is nice. I will definitely return again!

Was there last night walked to our table on s greasy floor. I ordered bone in rib eye that was almost all fat and grizzle. My wife ordered rib eye sandwich which was the same way. Mac and cheese was greasy and spicy. The wait staff seemed to have issues. Not a pleasant experience!

Definitely one of my favorite chain steak houses for a good amount of money!!! We come here pretty frequently and we never get sick of the food! Some of our favorites are the hot chicken wings (super juicy and lot of flavor), blue cheese wedge salad (excellent flavor combo) and we always get the ribeye (boneless or on the bone). This place is busy at night especially on the weekends. I recommend you making me reservation. Sometimes we don’t and we just kind of walk next door to the pet store or to khols while we wait. There is only once when we had bad service and it was during the lunch time. They were really short on staffing that day. I just send my steak back and they got me a perfectly cooked one in a short amount of time.

3^rd consecutive time it was awful. No bread offered again. Steak was overcooked, needed a lions teeth to chew it, they didn’t have the MLB playoffs on nor the Thursday nite football? You call this a bar? I’ve had it. It used to be good. No WIFI either. There cutting corners here. $ 50 for one person. C-​YA

Seated us right away and forgot us. Two families got served and not one waiter came by to greet us in the fifteen minutes we sat there. As we left they graciously said good bye without realizing they just sat us 15 minutes earlier. Will think twice before we go back there.

I came here with my husband because he was given a giftcard and we decided to put it to use. I had the grilled chicken cobb salad. The chicken was extremely salty and saturated with salt and seasoning. It was so potent I still can’t get that awful salty flavor out of my head. The rest of the salad lettuce is the typical store bought bagged salad which began to turn brown. They should put the salt content next to the calories because I’m sure it’s off the charts. One piece of chicken is probably equivalent to your daily intake of salt. It’s just gross here. This is just glorified fast food but I think you’ll find more palatable, more reasonably priced, and probably healthier food at McDonalds or Taco Bell than outback.

This place was horrible. We waited 15 mins for a table even though there where tables available. My friend ordered the mac and cheese garlic mashed potatoes and the stake and it was horrible. The stake was over cooked, the macaroni and cheese tasted disgusting the after taste tasted like dish cleaner… the whole experience felt rushed. We will NEVER EVER RETURN TO THIS PLACE. I WAS SO DISGUSTED I DIDN’T EVEN FINISHED MY MEAL. we asked the waiter to take off his order off the bill wich he did. I know it wasn’t his fault for the horrible cooking but he could’ve showed more concern…

Not worth the wait, no matter when
I can’t believe there are this many reviews, as that means all these people waited forever to eat at outback.

2. Service is awful due to overcrowding and under staffing
3. Steaks are super fatty and small, they advertise by size and then it comes out way smaller and half fat
4. They don’t know what medium rare means
5. Overpriced

Waited over an hour, food was good. For a family restaurant with such a long wait they really should have wifi. Service was also very slow. Sad because I like this place but may need to find another place to spend my money.

Service was great. Food very spicy. Nice atmosphere. Maybe another pasta dinner choice would have been nice for our vegitarian guest. (Many vegetarians do not eat fish) just a thought. Overall, would come back.

Despite the bad, I don’t know what you would call It, but the host, Ethan, our sever John, and the manager who’s name we did not get, made our night better. The team there lacks team work and seven different servers walked past a bar table and did not bus the table, but they did stop and talk to the bartenders and was wondering what they were doing after work. This business needs someone like myself to whip them back into shape and become a efficient business.

The staff seemed disorganized from the moment we called ahead for a table. When we arrived it seemed like the two guys at the desk were unaware there were customers waiting besides us. We sat down in a booth… Crickets… Nobody for 30 minutes and they were apologizing to the table next to us for some screw up. The waiter may have been new… I’m fishing for excuses here. The bread arrived with the salads and his had some weird brown goo spread on the side of the plate. That’s enough fun for the night here. We left. No need to go back.

I went here 10 years ago and had a burger and was very unimpressed. When my friend suggested I return I was very hesitant. So I got the hamburger and again was unimpressed… it kind of tasted like a Burger King burger very similar meat and bread taste. My friends steak was way too lean no flavor and hard. Sweet potato was good And broccoli was good. Our woman waitress rushed us the second we came didn’t even sit down and was asking us questions on what we wanted. She never refilled our waters or asked. Overall it was definitely a pretty bad meal can’t believe there was a line to get in. This place reminds me of a famous food critic once said the worst thing about his job is watching people eat bad food and enjoy it.
We need some better quality restaurants over here.

Outback has few spots towards out East on Long Island. It’s a great family restaurant and the service is really nice. Their filet mignon, and ribeye are the must try items in their menu. On one of our visits, our server was Zoey, she was attentive and very polite. This is another steak house thats fairly close to my house that is the most bang for your buck.

This is a good chain restaurant with an Aussie theme. The brown bread is warm, soft, slightly sweet and delicious. Seconds can be ordered upon request.
The bloomin’ onion is seasoned right, crispy and delicious with the dipping sauce, although it is too much for two. I have ordered steaks here and they were cooked per my request and delicious. On other occasions I have had their shrimp and on another occasion, shrimp dinners. I have never had a complaint about my meals or my children’s meals either. Occasionally I would have coffee, but we had dessert at home if we weren’t too full.
This is a good restaurant with stick to your ribs meals. I don’t like how crowded or noisy it gets.
