M & K’s Coffee and Cafe

Just got Coffee and a breakfast sandwich here. This place is a Gem that shares a building with a Shell Station! You may not even notice it passing by, but totally worth the stop. Great Coffee and my Egg, and chorizo wrap was delicious. I’m New England and it reminded me of one of the little breakfast shops back home there.

Wow. I so wasn’t expecting to find a place like this sharing a roof with a gas station. I stopped by for coffee but decided to try the breakfast tortilla wrap — even available after normal breakfast hours.
Both were pretty good. The latte was creamier and foamier than many places serve it. I liked it. The regular comes with one shot of espresso, so if you like strong coffee, probably best to add an extra shot or some flavor. The breakfast tortilla was hot. It took a minute for my palate to register the flavors of the plain food. The cheese had melted smoothly over the eggs and the eggs were liberally sprinkled with black pepper. I like black pepper so for me it was the perfect offset to the melted cheese. The flour tortilla it was wrapped in was just short of crispy and was almost like having flat toast.
The short order cook here outdid himself. I like this little place with its friendly people, and tasty, freshly made food. But you don’t need to stop by just to grab food. You can just get some coffee and relax before you head off to your next stop.
