Don’t bother bringing cash for your large order. They don’t take one hundred dollar bills. Make sure you bring 20s and small change. My mother had came by here and her total was 120 something, she had a hundred dollar bill and tens or a twenty, either way it wasn’t because she’d be breaking a large bill and they didn’t have change. The cashier said they don’t take them. Then asked the manager and she said«no, you can use a debit». So she left it at the counter and got everything at other stores.

I was in search of the perfect wedding/reception dress(which wasn’t going too well) and just so happened to stumble upon this place. I was also in need of a card, and this seemed like the perfect opportunity to kill two birds with one stone. There is a plethora of cards in this store(I mean, it *is* Hallmark), and I was delighted to see the larger-than-usual«wedding card section»(my typical card-buying spots are Walmart /Target /the Teeter). They had a classy selection of cards, which was nice, and it made for choosing the *perfect* card quick(less than 3 minutes). Once I selected my prized card, one of the store associates at the front rang me up quickly. This store associate was SO friendly and nice! He got me signed up for their FREE loyalty program, «Crown Rewards»(you get a free card after a certain amount of points — PLUS something on your birthday). He ALSO let me pick out a FREE book-light with my purchase(normally $ 5.99) — and I even got to pick a color! Curses to the memory gods for not remembering his name! Arghh Needless to say, I WILL be back due to the A+++ customer service!

Well I was holding out on writing this review trying to remember the Sales Associate’s name who helped me, but I’m drawing a blank. Hopefully she will see this and remember me. I called this Hallmark looking for a particular Christmas ornament that was sold out EVERYWHERE. She was obviously quite familiar with their inventory(good sign) because she knew right away which one I was talking about, and commented about how popular it was, but that she THOUGHT she might have one still available. Sure enough it was the LASTONE and she even held it for me until I could drive out from Raleigh to pick it up. Needless to say my mom was thrilled. I wish I could remember her name so her boss would know I’m bragging on her. A+ customer service, thanks Hallmark!
