I love this place. First time here, great service. Friendly cashier. I wanted a smoothie but the yogurt was on point with calories and carbs per ounce which matters to me.

Great place!!! The only place in the area that sells chill bubble tea. They also have awesome ethnic specialty drinks which are delicious. PLUS they have frozen yogurt and healthy smoothies. One of my favorite businesses around by far. They also have a perks system where each time you buy something it adds up to a free item(and you dont have to carry a card with you because they tally it in their computer system with just a phone number and name). I love it.

Top quality bubble tea. Although I haven’t ordered anything except for the Thai tea, the friends I’ve gone with have purchased various other flavors of bubble tea and all have been impressed with how excellent the taste is. The ingredients in all of Frozy’s drinks are fresh(I’ve seen employees coming back to the store with fruit), and the tapioca balls have always been at a perfect consistency for me(I like tapioca a little firm but not too hard), and overall, Frozy is probably one of the best bubble tea places I’ve ever been to in terms of taste, diversity of selections, and presentation. I was really surprised to see negative reviews contrary to my impression of Frozy on Unilocal, but later I learned that many were written before management of the store changed and the ingredients and methods used in making the beverages were revamped. Additionally, the service is something that really sets apart Frozy from other boba places to me. The owner goes above and beyond in making sure that the bubble tea is satisfactory for all customers. The price is also great; compared to other bubble tea places that charge ~$ 5 for a drink, Frozy’s regular size comes out to only $ 3.75. One small drawback is that the owner and her cousin are very much more experienced than newer workers at making the beverages, so the bubble tea might not taste as excellent if they aren’t the ones making it, although I believe that it is still great regardless. One time I know for sure that the owner and her cousin work is on Saturday nights, so you can stop by at that time to be thoroughly impressed. I will definitely be coming back to Frozy quite often to satisfy my bubble tea cravings. Give it a try; the hardworking management and overall experience will definitely impress you.

Best avocado smoothie in the area hands down! The smoothie has the perfect consistency and sweetness. I also ordered a black milk bubble tea and it was not bad at all! The price is reasonable and they also give 10% back on purchases when you sign up for the rewards program. Overall, I will be coming back here whenever I am in town and recommend everyone else to try it out as well!

I’m glad my husband found this place. We ordered hot & cold Thai bubble tea, and they were good. They made the other warm enough to safely use a straw for the boba. The lychee-green tea was also good. The halo-halo could use a little adjustment so the consistency does not become too thick & sticky. But overall, the attempt to this Filipino dessert is good. They were also very nice and open to feedback. Nothing like a good chat over yummy dessert

Was wary coming here after reading some of the reviews Im so glad I gave it a shot. First off, the boba definitely has changed since the last time I came(about a year ago) and could tell the management really worked to improve everything and satisfy the customer’s wants and needs. Got the avacado slush and I loved it! The tapioca was cooked perfectly and has a taste to it that you just cant get from other places. Also, I dont see what’s so sketchy about the fact that they’re making the drinks in the back. Im sure people dont go to restaurants with a concern that their food’s being made out of their sight. But yeah, give them a shot!

I’m new to the Durham area so I don’t have anything to compare it to here, but I’m definitely a fan! It’s a little expensive, but they have a very good variety of flavors, mix them up often, the staff is friendly, and they clearly label allergens in the yogurt. I had a smoothie once that was good too. I still need to try the boba!

This place is really great! Had a major craving for bubble tea while I was visiting friends. I live on the west coast so there are lots of really good bubble tea places everywhere, and on the east coast, I’ve been to some places that are not so good. I was really surprised when I came here. Nice interior and the service was nice and friendly, helping me decide on something to get. I ended up getting the peach fruit tea. It was sooooo good. It had the right amount of sweetness and the boba had the perfect texture, not to hard and not too mushy. I really want to try the froyo next time. If I’m ever in the area again, I will definitely be back!

Don’t judge a book by its cover. It is ao sad to see this place get bad rating. It has been my favorite place to get my bubble tea craving fixed. They have plenty of options. Its pretty authentic and similar to the good stuff I got in CA. I would recommend to get the fruit tea. Modern place and nice service overall.

Who knew the south could pull of bubble tea?! Certainly not me. I’m from the west coast where bubble tea is like water and I was a bit skeptical that the boba here wouldn’t satisfy. Fortunately to my surprise it was quite delicious! The friendly cashier recommended the mixed fruit tea and it tasted like a refreshing dessert. Definitely recommend to those who love boba.

My friends and I visited NC and stopped by this store because it was by the highway. First i didn’t want to go in because the rating of this place is too low but we decided to give it a try because it was the closest place we could find for bubble tea. The place is actually a yogurt place but we wanted bubble tea. The inside is very young and modern. I was kinda skeptical about the bubble tea in the south LOL, but it was actually really good and similar to what we had on the west coast. We ordered a bunch of fruit tea and milk tea, and i like how they use fruit purée in some of them. Definitely recommend the place.

We tried the bubble tea I got the honeydew bubble tea and my husband got the mango bubble tea. They use powder and don’t use fresh ingredients. The pearls tasted very bland and a little on the very hard side. I would suggest using fresh ingredients especially when in season.

It was dissapointing to see all the negative Unilocal reviews about this place but I’m really glad I still decided to try it out. I tried the Thai milk bubble tea and I loved it. My friends tried the Passion fruit bubble tea and almond milk tea and they seem to both really enjoy it, as well. It was delicious! I’ve been trying to find a good bubble-tea place in Chapel Hill/Durham area and I think I will be coming here from now on. The place is so cute and modern. Love the color scheme and the staff is extremely nice! I definitely recommend this place for bubble tea! Maybe I’ll try their froyo and smoothies next time :)

I am absolutely in love with bubble tea and seek bubble tea cafes every place that I go, so I was so, so excited when I heard about the opening of this new bubble tea place in the Triangle, where there isn’t any other bubble tea location. So DISCLAIMER: my rating is solely for the bubble tea — I haven’t tried the smoothies or frozen yogurt yet. My first impression of the place was that it was really modern… cool seats and lights, making a really bright and happy atmosphere. That’s about all of the good stuff I have to say about the place. We walked into the store, and there was no worker in sight. We had to wait a few minutes before she walked out from the back, where everything is made. Hmm another something sketchy — smoothies and bubble tea are all made in the back, so customers can’t see what ingredients are going into the drinks and how they are made. Didn’t like that one bit. I got the watermelon bubble tea, and my sister got the strawberry bubble tea. I assumed that by getting these fruity flavors, there was no doubt that the drink would be made with powder, so there wouldn’t be a high chance that they could screw something like that up — boy was I wrong. I specifically asked for less sugar in my tea, but when I actually tried my drink, even a small sip tasted like I was just drinking liquid sugar. I had to wait until I got home to pour water into my cup before I could take more than a couple tiny sips. I also couldn’t taste any watermelon flavor! I tried some of my sister’s drink as well, and her strawberry bubble tea tasted pretty much identical to my watermelon one. It’s strange that two different flavors taste exactly the same, isn’t it… In addition, the bubbles… they were pretty much raw! The middle of the bubbles were all so hard. They definitely were undercooked. I definitely won’t be going back here for the bubble tea. Maybe, I’ll try a smoothie or some frozen yogurt, but I’d rather spend the time to make my own bubble tea in my kitchen than come back to this place to buy it.

Good service although the cashier had to go into another room to make your drink. The boba tea was the worst I have ever had and I love boba. The boba tasted like it was days old, over cooked and low quality. I would not recommend this place for boba.

Friendly staff, good variety of smoothies, yogurts, and bubble tea flavors. Tried the lychee bubble tea as suggested and it was great! Just wish they mentioned they also used lychee popping boba in addition to the tapiaco pearls for the flavored smoothies. They also provide tea lattes, which other than chai are sometimes hard to find. Didn’t try one this time, but will be back.

This place is great! The variety is good and three place looks very clean, comfortable and inviting. I really like pistachio froyo and they make it great. Very smooth and rich. Best of all is the staff. A lovely young woman helped me and she was so nice. I even remembered her name was Carmille. Definitely worth a trip if she’s working. I’ll certainly be back!
