You don’t have to be drunk to like the food here!
I honestly had low expectations for this college town pizza joint. I was wrong.
The staff is friendly, prices are great, and the cheese pizza is really tasty — I mean they actually cook it! they also have some great daily specials.
It’s a great stroll down college pizza lane even though I never went to UNH

Traveled into town from upstate NY so I kind of know pizza haha! They have hands down the best pizza on the block. Amazing variety of ready pizza like Spinach, Artichoke, tomato, ricotta. Very impressed would definitely recommend stopping here for anyone looking for a quick good lunch.

Amazing service and even better pizza. You can tell by the quality that this is a family owned restaurant that really cares about customer satisfaction and the product they serve. I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Best pizza in this US. Eaten there every summer when I visit Durham, and Durham House has always had the same amazing taste! I was disappointed this past summer to see renovations taking place and was unable to go! Although I haven’t tried too many of their pizzas, I think the cheese is still best over all the ones I’ve tried. Definitely recommend to anyone!

Durham House of Pizza offers some incredible specialty pizzas. It is honestly some of the best NH pizza that I have ever had. Seems so challenging to find good pizza in NH. So many pizza joints in NH seem to think that burning the crust is the way to go. Durham House of Pizza has served great pizza for years. Never have had a bad pie there! Service is friendly. I will definitely return for more of their great pizza!

Passed thru Durham on a roadtrip and had to try this spot. Was not disappointed! Loved the décor, great customer service, and yummy pizza! The crust was perfect and prices are on point. Heard there is one click ordering now… Perfect for a college town! You won’t be disappointed!

Delicious pizza! Highly recommended; really enjoyed the spinach pizza with onions and ricotta. The crust is especially good and light and easy to eat. They don’t have a medium so order a large and save some for days after. I hear the best way to reheat pizza is on the top of the stove.

Dhop is fantastic with spirt fingers and unicorn rainbows on top!
The pizza is amazing and it is a icon in the town. The negative review that I saw from the angry lady should be ignored. Just call them or walk in, always smiling, always helpful staff, always lots of slices and good prices! Been going here since I was a kid and still love it.

Good pizza at reasonable prices — at least for the slices which they had in a wide variety. People behind the counter were super nice. Restaurant was nothing fancy but clean. Free wi-​fi (from the place next door).

Nothing ever tasted as good as this pizza. All of their pizza is amazing but I LOVE their chicken club pizza. So good!!!

Over the past few months, I’ve noticed a change at DHOP. Don’t know if it’s the ingredients or the recipes but the food tastes much better. I’ve been going here for about 10 years and I’ve been pleasantly surprised more recently in how the pizza tastes. The delivery staff is also very good and professional and will accommodate different requests like leaving on a front porch.

I have been going here since 1996 when I was a freshman and living at the ATO house on 66 main street.
The pizza is SUPERB. There is no excuse to give this place 2 star… LOL are you serious??? Sure, its different from say a Flatbreads in Portsmouth (which I also rank 5 stars) but its epic in its own way.
I will drive to Durham just to get a few slices.

First place I have eaten in Durham. I from Indiana on a vist, and was hungry for pizza. Have to say I was not disappointed. Was very good. Four stars based on comparison to some very good pizzerias in the Hoosier state. Looking forward to trying some other places, while on my stay.

Pretty decent pizzas. They are EXTREMELY greasy. But they are seasoned right and the crust is great. Decently priced as well. Wish the service was a little friendlier!

Its pizza, on a college campus. You can get really cheap pizzas, late at night. Only come here if it is after 1:00am, andyou will think that it is the best pizza you have ever had!

Yes, the pizza is usually pretty good. Up until this week, I loved DHOP. They recently started up online delivery ordering through Campus Special, which I have used several times with no problems. So, I logged in and ordered a pizza to be delivered… about 45 minutes later, I called, wondering where it was. It was Wednesday night, UNH is out for the summer, and we live about a 90 second drive from downtown.
The person who answered the phone informed me that their «fax machine had gone down» so they did not have my order. Wait. So in 2013, you have online ordering and credit card processing, but you rely on a fax machine for your business to be successful? Seriously? So I asked if they could please make my pizza now, and yes, I would still like it. I was planning to pay cash. What was I told? «No, we are closed.» Oh really? When do you close? «Right now, actually.» What business closes at 8:45 on a Wednesday night? How would I have ever known that my pizza wasn’t ever going to arrive, had I not called?
Sorry DHOP, you have lost this townie’s business. I am not a student. I tip very well. Looks like Wildcat will be getting my business from now on. Your online ordering was the clincher for me. Too bad you couldn’t get it right.

I must admit its no NY pizza, but its pretty decent.
LOCATION: right on main st in downtown durham.
DECOR: very cute/​50s style pizza place. Black n white checkered floor with red seats. Good amount of seats for such a small place. Outdoor seating available too.
FOOD: I’ve only had their pizza but I must say its pretty decent. Very reasonably priced, good for a college kid’s budget. Pizza is similar to digorno that you would have at home or
Domino’s but better and more homeade like. As I said its no NY slice, but they do a good job trying to be.
