Started eating here at about 3:40PM on Sunday, this place closes at 5… Employee Breya starts vacuuming by my table, it’s extremely loud and I’ve got a headache, plus the smell of the dust is gross while eating… I’m the only person in the restaurant, ask her politely if she could hold off till I’m done eating(15 mins max)… She tells me they close soon(reality in over an hour and twenty minutes)…literally walks away leaving the vacuum running, I guess to rub it in my face for asking… Ask for her name, refuses to give it to me, finally read her name tag and she shouts her full name at me and tells me «ANDILLSTILLBEHERE!». Ask other employee Skye(very nice to me) for store manager name and number but says she doesn’t know… I’m an Area Manager for a national retailer staying in the hotel across the street while relocate, I will be following up with store leadership… Great food, have eaten here four days in a row for lunch due to convenience, but what a terrible experience today! Breya needs an attitude adjustment or a new job not infront of your customers ASAP

We are traveling from NYC and thought this would remind us of home — NOPE! Overpriced poor small bagel, and very blend no aroma at all. Go to NYC for a real bagel and you’ll never go back to something like this…

I’ve had a slight love affair with Bruegger’s Bagels since moving to the triangle and I’m not ashamed to hide it. It’s a place I keep going back to because I know they will have consistently good bagels and coffee. Things I love about Bruegger’s include: –Free refills on drinks [coffee!!], plus they have a «coffee club» where you can pay a set price at the beginning of the year and get ‘free’ coffee whenever you stop by. PLUS they also have a seasonal flavored coffee(coconut and pumpkin are my favorites!) –They will double toast my bagel. –They have a huge variety of bagels and cream cheeses. BUT they also have sandwiches, and having tried one recently, I found it to be the perfect lunch option. –They have tons of ways to save a dollar or two. Fill out a survey on your receipt and save $ 1 off a $ 4 purchase. Sign-up for their e-mails and you’ll receive a monthly discount. AND they have coupons in the Go, Play, Save books. –They have FREE wifi and lots of seating. Plus, almost all the locations, this one included, have a «homey» area with love seat, couch or comfy chairs. –If you’re friendly, the employees will be friendly too! I’ve noticed this in most customer service industries. Bruegger’s has a lot of turn around, but they’re all people trying to make a living. Overall, Bruegger’s is great for a quick lunch but I have spent many a morning studying at various locations around the triangle. This particular location is great, with lots of windows and tables. The free wifi and all you can drink coffee make it a perfect spot if you need to get work done.

They were being a bit slow, forgot all of the cream cheese we ordered, and aren’t friendly at all. They only got 2 stars because the bagels taste pretty good

We come here every Saturday for breakfast. They must have had a lot of turnover lately as the service has gotten 3x slower and I don’t recognize the faces anymore. Will probably be looking for another haunt.

Not a bad bagel place. It I didn’t have the standard of New Jersey bagels it might impress me more but they have a solid product and a great team.

Don’t plan on studying here since the wifi was basically not useable(it takes 5 minutes to load a page) and there are just 2 outlets. I’ve gotten a bagel here before which was decent(although the lox shmear was basically a pink dyed plain cream cheese) but on my most recent trip decided to order a sandwich – big mistake. It was absolutely awful – didn’t even resemble the picture, and costs over $ 7. The employees are all very nice but thats about the only positive thing I have to say about it.

Good quality food and they are generous if they make a mistake. They make their own egg salad now which is cream cheese based. Taste delicious but maybe not the most healthy.

Delicious bagels and extremely friendly employees! Ordered 1.5 dozen bagels the other morning at 6am and they were very helpful with their suggestions and chipper so early in the morning. Will definitely be back!

I don’t quite understand why every time I go in there, the managers seem to feel as if it is ok to talk down to their employees. They are flat out rude half the time. If the young lady who is making my bagel doesn’t put and insane amount of cream cheese on my bagel, it is ok. No need to freak out and yell at her. Its just cream cheese… I don’t even like a lot of cream cheese… so don’t yell at her and put me in an awkward situation when she then looks up at me looking like she’s going to be fired because I decided I wanted a bagel that morning. I enjoy this establishment, but am a little tired of the management.

I love Brueggers. It doesn’t get as much love as some other bagel shops, but I’ve never understood why… What sets Brueggers apart for me are the delicious sandwiches. Try the Herby Turkey, you’ll know what I mean. This location isn’t too busy, and it seems like it would be a great place to come and read or study. They have coffee that’s pretty decent, and their large iced coffee is 32-oz. if I’m not mistaken. So clearly I’ll be here all day.

This Breugger’s is 100 times better than the 9th Street location. The staff is always friendly and polite, and the quality of the food is consistently good. Breugger’s coffee is always pretty bad though and this location is no exception.

I love this place! The folks are nice and accommodating. The breakfast sandwiches are even better now that they are using fresh-cracked eggs and oven-toasting the entire sandwich so that the cheese melts and the green peppers and onions get all soft and warm. So good.

I can’t say I frequent this location, but I do go at least once a week. Generally positive experiences here, the breakfast sandwiches are really good otherwise I wouldn’t go back. But, how do I say this tactfully, there’s something off with the place. The employees are friendly and usually pretty fast but I think there’s something about the management here. The constant chatter, bickering, complaining to one another behind the counter while they are working, managers included, is more than off-putting and I would even say unprofessional. Once or twice I heard them complain about a customer… in front of other customers. Well that makes me, Mr. Customer, feel like if I’m not super nice to them I’ll be the next topic of complaint when I leave. I observed a manager loudly chewing out a staff member at the counter in front of customers, that was more than awkward for me and everyone else in the dining area. But I don’t want to sound all negative, as I said the staff is usually very nice and even the managers(although there is one I think is a little strange). Good food, generally good service. But it might serve them well to have management that clamps down on the playground atmosphere there rather than contribute to it.

If your looking for a good breakfast sandwich brueggers remains at the top of the list! I love this location because there is a Starbucks less then 500′ away. First I hit the Starbucks for my coffee then it’s off to brueggers for my bagel! In all the times I have done this never once has anyone here ever made a comment about how I should get my coffee here. They get that I like what I like and that’s all there is to it. Now in reading some of the other reviews for this location, I am not going to disagree with them. The staff are kinda annoying, but I don’t go to Bruegger’s for the conversation with the staff. Like others have mentioned I never get offered a bag but I don’t really care because I really don’t want the bag for my single bagel anyways. If they went to give me a bag I would just tell them I don’t want it anyways. I can’t speak for the coffee this place serves cause I like my starbucks and have never once ordered coffee here and likely never will. If your looking for a bagel and don’t care if the staff say thank you or provide you with a bag then this is the place to go.

I live right next to this Bruegger’s, and though I find Bruegger’s to be among the best bagels you can get in the area, I have to say that it’s the service that keeps me from becoming a regular. It’s like they assume that the customers will always be there, and so they could not care less about actually providing you with service(or food…). On a regular basis, they are too busy chatting, though they will occasionally condescend to actually, you know, put some cream cheese on a bagel, but they will find a way to mess it up, too(easy to do when you don’t pay attention/don’t care, huh…) The management here is absolutely terrible, between constantly having loud conversations with each other to ignoring your requests and/or failing to ask you conventional customer service questions. For example, countless times, they have failed at asking me the ENTIRE conventional series of «do you want your bagel toasted?» «do you want your receipt?» etc while simultaneously messing up my simple order, and then huffing and puffing and giving me excuses. I don’t even ask for complicated things; I either order cream cheese on bagel, the Better Bacon & Cheddar, or the Smoked Salmon sandwich! I’ve watched the same management distractingly tease the good employees particularly when they’re at their most focused, which I think shows their(lack of) priorities, and also was incredibly awkward to witness. I have stood there on many occasions for several minutes at a time waiting for management to finish blatantly having loud side conversations right in front of me, while I am trying to get to work(or eat). Oh, and there’s also the shift supervisor who critiques your orders. If he doesn’t like them, you’ll hear all about it… but he’s not joking. I’m not talking about isolated instances; this is the norm. The exception is when things go smoothly and swiftly. However, if you’re willing to put up with all of this, you should know that the bagels are good.(You might want to give yourself some extra time for your visit.)

After coming here MANYMANY times I think it is time for me to write a review. I first want to say that the staff here is amazing! They are all so nice and know me by name. I always feel welcomed at this location. I have two wild children and they are always speedy from preparing my bagel to taking my payment. I love this place! This location also has a group of regular customers who also give this place a lot of character!

Bruegger’s is a National chain restaurant that specializes in bagels with over 20 different flavors/kinds of bagels. They also have about 10 different kinds of cream cheese. You could also order lunch at most Bruegger’s locations. You could order salad or soup with your bagel. Food B Staff B Décor C Location C Health Inspection Grade 97.0

I’m by no means a regular to Bruegger’s Bagels, but I do occasionally stop in the location off of MLK near University on my way to work for a bagel and coffee to go. The last few times I have been there has really tested my patience with them. One time I went and the girl behind the counter felt the need to mention to me that everyone was in a bad mood there because their recent raises were a lot smaller than expected(any raise she was given was too much). The last time I went they seemed to be short staffed and it took a few minutes for them to take my order, even though there was only one other person in line. Both times recently when getting my bagel to go they haven’t offered to put the bagel in a bag for me. I have had to ask them for a bag. I guess they are trying to save money or something, but I certainly don’t want to walk around carrying a bagel in my hand. Also, on my last visit I tried the fair trade organic something /something roast and it was awful! Tasted watered down, had coffee grounds in the coffee and was almost un-drinkable. Whoever they traded with, I don’t think it was fair at all. Bruegger’s got robbed! Weird times…
