Dear fellow San Juan riders: stop looking for a quality shop in the SW Co because you’ll find it at Bubbas. Great gear for all styles of riding but he’s meeting my backcountry snowboard needs. Great service that’s based on customer satisfaction which is super important when you spend the money on high performance gear. Knowledgable staff and full service tunes. Thanks Bubba!

This is the best snowboard shop of all time. Whether it’s a new set up or a missing bolt these guys will get you what you need.

Bubba is one of the coolest guys I’ve met since moving here to Durango. He runs an absolutely sick shop, given that it was in a brand new location when I went in. He’s also the exclusive provider of Never Summer boards (a Colorado based and made in the USA company) in the Durango area.
My only complaint is the size of the shop and the selection. Unfortunately, the rent at dmr got too high, so he had to move locations. Not bubba’s fault, but it hurt the business regardless. He still has everything you need, but not a huge inventory.
I went in there just to buy some wax, and some how he talked me into buying new boots. He coerced me with free socks, free wax and priced the boots just above wholesale. Insane! Whenever I (or you) have snowboard needs, bubbas is the place to go. I refuse to shop online for snowboard stuff ever again. Think locally, f*ck globally!

These guys are great! No attitudes here, you can really tell they’re here for the love of snowboarding. Needed a bolt that came off my girl’s binding in transit & they just pulled out a tool box & hooked up quick, free of charge. Gotta love service like that! I’ll be getting some new gear from them just outta appreciation. Highly recommended!

First time to Purgatory and was highly impressed with this shop! Brought all of my gear besides my board, and started out at the default rental shop, but was disappointed to see only Burton Cruisers. I then asked if they have other rental shops around and was directed to Bubba’s.
Bubba and his staff are all very helpful and friendly. They gave me suggestions and told me to come back when i wanna switch out and try out something new. Not only that, i was able to get a great deal on a new snowboard deck. So, not only did they help me with a rental, they hooked up a great deal on a new deck!
