Avis Rent A Car

This would be no stars if I could, but they totally messed up my reservation and clearly didn’t care. Just terrible.

I can give you some great tips… first of all DONT GO HERE.
Terrible service, and i really think i should just copy and paste the e mail i sent to avis, to give an idea what they are like.
I rented a car from avis from Durango airport. The closest gas
station is 8 miles from the airport. U also charge 9.29 per pergallon to
fill up the gas. I found it incredibly inconsiderate that I was not
told before I picked up the car that the closest gas station is so far.
I know I am not alone in this. Another avis customer had the same issue.
I believe that I was purposely not told this because because the hope is
that I arrive on time for my flight and realize that I am too far to go
fill the car as I will miss my flight. Your staff is poorly trained
and I guarantee they come across this problem everyday. I am not
rushing to make my flight. This is unacceptable and I except much better
from a company
