Koko’s Teriyaki

The chicken teriyaki is really good. I would definitely go back. And the egg drop soup they serve to everyone is good too. The service was great.

Okay, I am updating my review about this place and docking a star. They raised the prices on all their food items under «new management!»
Attention! Their website has the old menu prices, so it is inaccurate. Everything is more now. Lunch special went up 50 cents. Chinese lunch special went up $ 1. All combos up $ 2
Co-​worker got Shrimp Fried Rice and it only had like 5 pieces of shrimp in the whole meal! Wow!
I got the Teriyaki chicken and beef combo. $ 10.99 plus tax comes out to a little over $ 12. Now I wouldn’t complain if I got my money worth but hardly any beef. Definitely not worth that price.
Their new to-​go menu says they are under «new management.»
No offense but I am never going back here.

One possible choice for Teriyaki and Americanized Chinese food in DuPont.

Korean-​run basic eatery serving all encompassing Asian dishes of Chinese, Korean, and Japanese origination. It’ll fill ya but nothing memorable.

My friend suggested we order takeout from this place for dinner. I was really scared to try this place because of all the bad reviews.
We got the family meal. It was a really good deal and I liked everything in it besides the chowmein… It was enough for my friend, me, and our husbands.

The gals who work there are all so sweet. Good food and relatively quick. Can’t call it cheap, but it’s moderately priced.

Just ordered from this place and a hour later I call to see where my foods at and they say it will be another hour! What kind of place takes 2 hours to deliver less than 5 min away?! I’m so disappointed with the so called business. Bad service. Will never order from here again. Not to mention they were not apologetic about it what so ever. Beware.

The customer service is really horrible here. I think our delivery driver ate half our order. I wish I would have taken a photo of our plates. Half the food literally gone minus the rice. The rice was untouched.

We paid $ 54 for ckn sticks, beef & broc, & shrimp fried rice. The 2 appetizers (crab rangoon & 4 spring rolls) & other entrée were either burnt to the point of being inedible or completely lacking flavor. How do u forget to season moo goo gi pan?! Worst i’ve eaten in 30 years. Don’t expect any sort of professionalism or customer service. We even offered to send a pic of the burnt food. The woman says «it’s supposed to be that way», over the phone, not looking at it smh. We’ve eaten crab rangoon many times over the years & are very much aware as to the coloring of properly cooked crab rangoon, thank you very much. Eventually, begrudgingly, she offers to replace the crab rangoon the next time we order. How about correcting your inepititude in the kitchen immediately? What about the spring rolls? See pic. Clearly they were burnt together. We didn’t even get the chance to mention the Moo goo gai pan. Never, never, never again. Keep your crappy food and crappy service!

When we first moved here a year ago, we tried Koko’s and weren’t impressed. We gave it another try tonight and it was the best Chinese delivery I’ve had in years! I read a review that said delivery took awhile so I was expecting that but it was here within 20 minutes. Best egg rolls around the Tacoma area.

I went there for lunch and the lady was VERY rude to my friends and I. She continued to argue with us and told us that we could not have a refund when they messed up on our order.

It really saddens me to have to write this review. I’ve ordered from there in the past and received excellent food, very quickly, with great service.
Well. Then tonight happened. I ordered at 5:47p for delivery. She did tell me it would be an hour, so we waited patiently. Then I realize it’s now 7:45p. I called & she said that they didn’t forget about me & they were busy, traffic was terrible & the driver was on his way as we spoke. Well, 8:45p comes. Still no food.
My husband & I are starving at this point, and to add my husband is extremely frustrated. I called to cancel my order & she tells me that she promises that our food is on the way, and that I should just wait longer (umm. No). I tell her I’m not waiting any longer because 3 hours is absolutely absurd & i want her to cancel my order as I want a refund & tell her that I won’t be eating their food even if it does show up because if he’s been «on his way» for an hour… That food is soggy, disgusting, cold, and nothing my husband & I will eat.
She tells me that my food will not be cold (she actually guaranteed that it would be hot) which I find actually impossible. Then she gives me hell about just canceling my order. Who doesn’t have a way to look up previous orders & just cancel?
Well. She did just call & tell me she was canceling my order & did apologize which is appreciated… But I mean come on. 3 hours? I live like 4 miles away from them on North Fort Lewis and there was no traffic according to my WSDOT app.
I love their food, it is always super yummy, and to have to settle with Panda Express after waiting so long just kind of disappoints your life a bit
I can’t say I’m willing to give them another shot.

I like this place for occasional lunch but I’d like to be able to order lunch delivery through a mobile app. Can you get on EAT24 to enable mobile ordering from your restaurant? It’s just easier for me to use an app than to call.

Very bad customer service. I went here recently and one of the cashiers was rolling her eyes when I changed my order. I have friends who have also I commented to me about the staff being very rude.

Not the fanciest of restaurants however, hats off and compliments to the chef (s)!!!
Every new city I enter I try to find the Chinese restaurant with food so good I can’t stop eating and always has me coming back for more. I have found that restaurant in DuPont, WA. Not only is the food to die for, the prices and service are exceptional as well. Right of I-​5 exit 118. Go check it out. You won’t be disappointed

Super fast and friendly service, easy to read and comprehend menu, the price is right and the food is delicious. This is one of my «go to» spots in DuPont.

After trying several Asian spots in the area, I’d have to say this is my favorite. I love the Mongolian beef (or chicken) and the orange chicken. Their egg rolls are decent and their delivery service is good. My only issues with them are that the prices are a little high and the portions are a little small. Their lunch specials are the best deal so try to get lunch instead of dinner there.

Two major complaints: The wait staff and food sanitation.
I visited Koko’s a peek lunch time, at first the staff told my party that there was no room, then they actually looked around and found an open table.
They never gave us menus and came back a few moments later and pressured us for our order, we asked for menus and the waitress appeared to be frustrated us.
Towards the end of our meal my friend, a Korean speaker, also informed me that the wait staff was speaking poorly of their customers to one another.
All in all terrible service
I only have two points on food san, the first being that my tempura shrimp had clearly not been washed/​cleaned before being battered and fried. I took one bite an couldn’t take another.
Lastly and most disturbing is that I witnessed a cook drop an egg roll on the kitchen floor, go to throw it away, then hesitate and put it on a plate to be served.
I will never eat there again, if you are in DuPont and want good terriyaki I highly recommend iSushi just down the street.
