Ew. About 95% of the drunken noodle we ordered was consisted of noodle. Too little vegetables, even after we asked for EXTRA veggies. We could literally count the number of non-noodle ingredients one by one. This place is a Chinese place. Not a Thai place. DONOTCOMEHEREFORTHAIFOOD. I wish I never ate here. Also, too expensive for what you’re getting. Not worth it.

Well… everyone is raving over the Mongolian Beef in their reviews… so I tried it. It was unlike any Mongolian Beef I have ever had… and not in a good way. It was smothered in some super sweet thick sauce, the meat was not sliced thinly and was a weird texture with bland flavor. I will go back and try something else. But definitely not what I was expecting based off of all the great reviews. The service, however, was great. The woman was very on top of things and extremely friendly. **UPDATE** I have been back a few times since… and have tried the Drunken Noodles with chicken. It is delicious… has me having cravings. Service is still awesome and lady is super friendly. I look forward to trying other menu items… if I can get over how tasty the Drunken Noodles are.

Nice people, huge portions, food is not great. I see what people mean by pad thai made with ketchup. Also, Asian food should not come with slices of tomato.

I love Pattaya Wok! Such amazing Thai food for a great price and the portions are HUGE! I usually order the pad siew with tofu and it’s a $ 10 meal that will feed me for a couple days. The staff is friendly, hardworking and prompt. Their customer service is great, I have never had a problem. Please do not confuse this Pattaya with the other one! This is the restaurant near the Chevron gas station and THIS is the one you want to go to. Enjoy your meal!

Thai and chinese cuisine. This place is really good! They offer combo platters and the portions are pretty huge for a great price. Placed our order and it came out within 10 mins hot and fresh. I loved the Thai tea they serve it in a big glass and it was delicious(not to sweet). Definitely will be coming back!

Go today ! This place is fun, friendly, clean and delicious ! We went there for a Father’s Day dinner. The staff made a very special touch with music and cheesecake. I highly recommend this restaurant. Look for Pattaya Wok, next to the Chevron gas station !

We were driving to Seattle and saw that this place had 4.5 stars and backtracked 10 minutes just to try it. Definitely worth its stars. Wish we lived in Lacey. We would be regular customers here. As a group of 8 people we were instantly treated with great service and hospitality. They even opened their other room just to sit us without a reservation. Water pitchers were brought out to the table, ensuring our water glasses were always filled. Some of our group did not know Thai food. Our server was patient with us as we made and changed and remade our orders. Now, me and my partner are Thai lovers from Seattle… we know good Thai and this place is as good as the best of them… maybe even better because of their big portion sizes. A plate of food could fees two people. This place is a gem. Anyone who likes asian food or is sick of burgers and fries should give this place a try.

My friend and I went here for the first(and last) time because of the great reviews. The place looked pleasant and the menu looked great – so many things to choose from that it took me a while to decide. I finally chose the Singapore vegetables with tofu. But before I did, I asked the woman who either owned the place or was managing it(she wasn’t our waitress) whether the Singapore vegetables had a Thai flavor or a Chinese one, since Pattaya Wok serves both Thai and Chinese food. I wanted something that tasted Thai, since I could get Chinese food anywhere. She told me it tasted Thai and I asked for it to be mild. She told me it’s always mild unless the customer asks for it spicy. When it came out with a separate bowl of rice, I asked my waitress for another plate so I could eat the rice and some of the entrée from the same plate. I then tasted the entrée and it wasn’t mild at all, but left a hot taste in my mouth. I tried another bite or two and it was just as hot. I then saw that there was black pepper sprinkled all over the entrée. I called the manager/owner over and said I asked for this mild but it’s hot because of all the black pepper in it. She said the black pepper is in the sauce and that every Thai dish has black pepper in it. I couldn’t believe that since I’ve eaten at countless Thai restaurants – always ordering«mild” – and I’ve never had any pepper in what I’ve ordered. Then I remembered that the times I have found black pepper sprinkled in what I’ve ordered had always(though infrequently) been in Chinese restaurants. Rather than the manager/owner offering to bring me something else, she said that I’d asked for the Thai taste in my dish and that’s what I got. Then, to add insult to injury, she pointed to the serving plate and said I’d already eaten a lot of it. She didn’t seem to notice(or chose not to notice) that right beside the serving plate was the second plate I’d used to put some of the entrée plus rice on. and which was still full of the entrée. Instead of being accommodating, she was argumentative. I’ve worked in restaurants and we always tried our best to make sure every customer complaint was treated with respect and that the customer – unless s/he was being unreasonable – always left satisfied. This did not happen here. One last note of advice to that lady: besides needing to be concerned rather than defensive when a customer has a legitimate complaint, you might also be a little more welcoming when seating your customers, rather than leading us to a table, dropping our menus on it and just walking away.(And no, she wasn’t super-busy when we arrived; the place was empty.)

We were passing through the area from Olympia to Seattle, traffic was thick and our appetites were strong, so we used Unilocal to find us a Thai/Asian restaurant with decent ratings and ended up here. The lady who runs the place was very friendly, as were here wait staff. The food was absolutely awesome, a combination of Thai and Szechuan Chinese dishes. We opted for a Chicken Drunken Noodle/General Tso’s combination platter and another dish of Thai Chicken Fried Rice. The food was cooked to order and was very delicious! The portion sizes were very generous and the price per dish was very reasonable. We will mostly likely eat here again when in the area!

This place is a great find! The food is good, the ambiance is pleasant, the staff is great, and it’s not too crowded! I’ve been in twice, once for take out and once eating in, and had good experiences both times. In general, most main dishes cost about $ 11. The portions are huge. I mean, really huge.(They make for awesome leftovers!) As far as the food goes, the real gem is the curry. Their red curry is the best Thai curry I’ve ever had. It’s seasoned incredibly well. I would definitely recommend it!

Huge amount of food for cheap! ALSO, they don’t sacrifice quality for quantity. I got me some great dunken noodles and the man got himself some«spicy and busting with flavor» chicken pineapple fried rice. We will be back!

This place is by far my favorite Thai restaurant in Lacey! They always give you a ton of delicious food that is decently priced! You can choose from classic Chinese food items to Thai items! My favorite is the chicken yellow curry and pad Thai. Tonight we tried the spinach Rama noodles, even my 3 year old son loved it! I would highly recommend this restaurant to all of my friends and family. I usually don’t ever dine in, because of a hectic schedule, but ordering to go is super easy, and I’ve never had an issue with them getting my order wrong, and they have never forgotten any items! The food is always super hot when I pick it up, and it still remains hot by the time I get home! Not only do I love their food, I love the staff. They are always warm and welcoming, and even remember my name when I’ve only told them one time. I am highly impressed with their customer service and that’s another reason why I will continue to eat here! P. s. Don’t get this place confused with«Pattaya» in Lacey… You will be highly disappointed with that one.

Folks should not get this place confused with the Pattaya Thai Restaurant further down the road on Martin Way. As far as customer service, this place is far more friendly and customer oriented than the other. Depending on the day and/or how busy, you are greeted by the owner. A very friendly and welcoming Asian lady. The food is fresh and very tasty and portions are very large. My family and I enjoy the noodle and curry dishes. The Thai Ice Tea is very flavorful as well. Prices for the dishes are very reasonable for the amount of food that you are provided. I would say this is one of the best Thai and Chinese restaurant in Lacey. Customer service, food, and atmosphere is spot on!

I was looking for good Chinese/Thai food and found this restaurant on Unilocal. The food is definitely better than it looks! It’s rich in flavor and the prices are so reasonable. They made the food fresh in about 10 minutes or less. The woman working here was so friendly and kind and her service was impeccable. I’ll definitely continue coming here.

Service was great, food came out quickly and was fresh. I had basil leaf chicken and though I thought there was too much overly sweet sauce in it, I ate it all. I’ll come back to try their curries!

My boyfriend and I just moved to this side of town from west Oly a few days ago and after a long day of hauling boxes, we decided to try this place. He’d been here before, about a year ago when it was a different restaurant, so it was a surprise to find something new. We were very happy with it. It was really quiet when we went in, and our friendly server was very attentive. The owner came out and chatted with us as well. We both tried the tom yum noodle soup(mine with tofu, his with pork and extra spicy) and had Thai iced teas. Everything was delicious! The Thai iced teas seemed to be a bit small in portion — they’re served in very tall, but very skinny glasses, which seemed to be mostly filled with ice. They brought out a spice tray for my boyfriend to add extra spices himself. The tom yum was a little different than what we’ve had at other places — I liked that they offer a version with noodles, it made it a very hearty, filling soup. And the addition of chopped peanuts was lovely. The portions were HUGE! We both had large containers of leftovers. Interior décor is nice, staff is friendly, food is delicious and largely portioned, reasonable prices, quiet atmosphere. In short, a lovely little spot and we’ll definitely be back! Glad to have this place close to our new home!

I’m Malaysian and we are neighbors with Thailand. This is currently my first time trying this place and it passed all our taste tests for authenticity! Even pleased my very critical father who probably spent half his life in Thailand. The tom yum soup was just spicy enough and sour and not too salty. The Street Noodles are like our hawker stall kuey teow noodles! Excellent! Very generous portions and very sweet of the owner to conscientiously split the soup from the tom yum noodles so they won’t get soggy during take-out. The one issue we had was that the pineapple fried rice was made with sticky rice instead of regular long grain. It was still yummy and had the Dragons Breath flavor that we love from a really hot wok. I will definitely be back, and bringing some more SE Asian friends!!!

Seriously the best chicken pad thai I have ever had. HUGE portions at a VERY reasonable(actually, I’d say very cheap) price. I am a big eater and I am able to stretch one order of chicken pad thai into three meals. The owners of Pattaya Wok are very kind, very sincere people. I wish I could give them 6 stars. To summarize, eat here! Often! You won’t regret it.
