Food was good. Kinda pricey considering what you get. They have gotten my order wrong a couple times. The silverware was spotted and not very appealing at all. Service was good. The pies are good and free on mondays!

I don’t normally complain but here I did. I did not have a drink with my meal the entire time. My boyfriends food was not cooked the way it Was susposed to be. Our server did not check on is at all but checked on everyone else. As I was once a server I know it’s important to keep up with refills and checking on how the food is. Nither was done.

Sub par for Perkins. The food was ok, but when I see a bathroom like the one her, I wonder what the kitchen looks like! I should say that the people serving us were very good, and their service was fine. Problematic was the fact the silverware was spotted and not very appealing. There were leaks from the ceiling in a few areas of the restaurant which indicates to me that they are not on top of things. Again I wonder what the condition is like.

I have no problems with any Perkins. I like the variety on the menu and the food has always been delicious. The pies are fresh and ready to go home with you also.

It doesn’t get better and that is sad. I’m pretty easy going and not a horrible complainer, but so much could be done to improve this place. All I’m looking for is someone to get my order right, refill my drink, and be polite. I don’t think that is too much to ask. Instead of sausage links, I got chicken sausage. Let me tell you, it does not taste the same. I wanted to tell the waitress so I could hopefully have the issue corrected, but she didn’t return except with the bill. Also, my drink was never refilled. In the morning, when caffeine is important, I’d appreciate a refill. When the server is not present, it is difficult to get a refill. When I’ve paid a price(usually a premium — $ 2.59) for a refillable beverage, I’d like the opportunity to refill the beverage. I don’t think that is too much to ask. Our server seemed bothered by waiting on us. She did not smile. She did not tell us her name. She did not visit us again except to bring the check. Why am I coming here if you cannot even pretend to appreciate my business? I understand that Perkins is not a high-end establishment, but what I’m seeking are simple things that anyone in a restaurant should be able to provide. I want to feel valued as a customer and appreciated for spending my money here, but I did not get that at all here. Incorrect breakfast order with not refilled refillable beverage $ 11.85 before tip. Not sure I’ll be back… ever.

When we first walked in, their entrance is confusing, to THEM lol hosts including the manager because she was standing right there hosting people along with the employee, they coulnt tell who is coming in or out, so i was just standing there looking at them and they never aknowledge me, i had to say something to them, then the girl goes, oh do u need a table? regarding the food and service, the server was really nice and helpful with our questions.(she was also some type of manager or supervisor) Food came in a timely manner despite they were very busy on a sunday and everything we ordered was good. although im used to the perkins on gulf to bay and honestly i like their food better over there and always serve a good size plate compared to this location and its worth the money.

The ONLY reason that I return to this restuarant is because the Palm Harbor Lions Club meets here. I have tried the full range of items on the menu, without any success of getting the meal I ordered with the specifications I ordered. OK, so that sounds complicated. What it means is this, Last night I ordered the breakfast combo with bacon, ham, and sausage along with the eggs and potatoes. Eggs ordered over easy, asked to replace ham and sausage with bacon(after all, its all about the bacon). Asked for country potatoes and sourdough bread. When meal arrived, I had over hard eggs, 2 pieces of bacon,(instead of replacing the ham and sausage with bacon, it was just dropped). Hash browns on the plate were cooked well, I did receive sourdough bread. Why did I not send it back you might ask. No, I did not send it back, I have learned from past experience that it doesn’t matter, it takes forever to get the new plate, and usually the same things are incorrect. My basic question is why don’t the wait staff check the plates? Over hard vice over easy is easy to spot, missing food is easy to spot, wrong items(country potatoes vice hash browns) is easy to spot. I have ordered the eggs bene in the past. Never again. Eggs on the top were hard poached. The sauce is powered and ‘made to order’.(They measure the powder and water and call it fresh). Overall the country potatoes are good. Took a very long time to get the order back correct, everyone else was done and plates cleared before I got my meal. If it were not for the fact that the organization I belong to meets here, I would never return. With the numerous choices of eating establishments along the HWY19 path, choose another one if you want a decent meal.

Sunday… March 22, 2015. Terrible service. Wait time for table 20, wait time on food 40 mins. Angry people leaving because of under staff problems. Management has no clue

We ordered pasta and shrimp… Delicious. We ordered a meatloaf… Very home style. We ordered steak medallions and eggs. Service did take forever but they gave us an apple pie slice. Reasonable priced and good quality with decent proportions. Compared to Denny’s and ihop it’s great.

Terrible. I took my family of six to this restaurant thinking that it would be economical and would get the job done. I was expecting a table cloth, cloth napkins or anything else. Just sufficient food at a low price. I was mistaken. The food was terrible the service was fair and the price was way too high for what we got. Highly not recommended

As far as Perkin’s go, this one is clearly one of the best in Tampa Bay for breakfast food. However, their club sandwiches are meager, at best. They used moist slices of turkey but all of the other items on the sandwich are in short supply(bacon, tomatoes, lettuce). Nice additions would be cheese and thicker cuts of the tomato. The fries were good. A dill pickle was no where to be found. The service was prompt. For the money there are much better alternatives for this type of sandwich in Pinellas Co.

Believe it or not, we come here for valentines day! It started 10 years ago when I was pregnant and did want to wait in ridiculous lines for dinner on such a busy night! Tonight we had great service with Haley. Food wasn’t bad, a little bland but nothing a little pepper couldn’t fix. Surprisingly we all ordered breakfast for dinner.

Today I tried to use a coupon for $ 6.99 burger meal which included fries and a soft drink. I clipped the coupon out of a «Tampa Bay & Gulf Beaches Guide-Map.» The coupon has an expiration date of 12/31/2013. The Perkins location I was at is labeled #78 on this map and the coupon is clearly marked with a «78 on map» statement. This was a valid coupon for this Perkins location, but when I was ordering I was told that the coupon is not valid at the 2375 Curlew Rd Dunedin, FL34698 restaurant(#78 on the map) because, «Dunedin is NOT in the Tampa Bay area.» I was offered the opportunity to purchase a similar burger for«Just a dollar more» without fries or drink. Way to treat a vet on 9⁄11 Perkins. I felt hurt and humiliated and left the restaurant without eating. Needless to say, neither me nor my family will ever visit a Perkins again.

My family has eaten here quite a few times over the years. I would have given a 5 star rating back then. The staff used to do a dance and sing. It was being at Disney. However that was a few years ago. It is at the point the inside needs an overhaul. Carpets a little bit too stained. Slight musty odor noticed when first going in. Normal for a lot of Florida places in the summer time. Food is usually with pretty good quality control. Food comes out looking like the menu picture pretty close. Food tastes good. Our waitress was awesome. I did not like the waitress drama however. One was talking about another personal life and work habit. This is not add to my enjoyment of the place. I hope the management gets a clue or corporate put cleans up carpets and air quality. I think more people would come in and make staff happier because they would be making more money. If they would clean up and update I would given another star.

My breakfast needs are simple… 1. Get me in and seated 2. Get order out quick 3. Get order out right 4. Keep drinks full 5. Get me out fat and happy 6. Allow me to order breakfast at anytime you are open This Perkins hit all those needs and left me with a full tummy. Staff was pretty much on the ball. Food was good and out quick. Only issue I had was that the manager at the register was more worried about everything else that I had to stand around and wait to pay for 5 minutes. This kinda annoyed me as I was the only one waiting to pay. Other then that It was a good experience and I will be back. Mmmmm bacon…

I generally like Perkins, but I think this location is just poorly run. I’ve eaten here a few times. The kitchen is slow, and the service is usually poor. I think the food is pretty good, but not enough to put this place on my list to go back. The experience is consistently sub-par.

I have passed this place several times on my way to Clearwater Beach. It always seems to be packed. So after a long day at the beach we were starving on the way home and decided to give it a try. We were greeted by a host when we walked in who walked us to our table. He introduced us to our waiter Dominique, both were very nice and attentive. We ordered the new sampler appetizer. It had 4 chicken strips, 3 quesodillas, 4 fried cheese sticks and about 8 onion rings, with several dipping sauces. Most of it was OK, but the quesodillas were just cheese. I also would think with quesodillas one of the dipping sauces would be some sort of picante sauce. We also had the Chicken fried steak dinner that came with 2 sides of your choice or you could do the breakfast version with eggs and hashbrowns. It was ok, but the white gravy tasted like instant box gravy with no flavor, I chose gourmet macaroni as one of my sides which I couldn’t eat. Believe it or not the biggest disappointment was the dinner roll. I was expecting a big hot buttery roll since«Bakery» is in the name. Instead I got a cold stale roll that tasted like day old bread. $ 38.00 later I think I would have been happier swinging by a Wendy’s.

coffee was gross. My hubby and kids loved their food. Mine was meh. It’s perkins so I guess it is consistently average. This perkins was probably on par with all the rest of them. I am more of a First Watch kind of girl. Gave Perkins a try again and all it gave me was gas!

I’ve got two family members that love Perkins restaurants. So I let them drag me against my will to what I dreaded would be a meal in the vein of a Denny’s. It turns out I was wrong. So wrong I’ve let them drag me back several times since. It turns out that Perkins turns out an extremely tasty turkey and dressing dinner, which means I can get my Thanksgiving groove on 365 days/yr. This restaurant is located on the southwest corner of Curlew and US Hwy 19 N. It’s an attractive building with tons of parking available around it. The interior is pretty spacious, and this location is about one year old, so everything is quite nice, clean and neat. We’ve always been seated promptly and the service is consistently prompt and attentive, with the wait staff frequently checking in to see what you need. After hitting the turkey jackpot on my first visit, I’ve never bothered to venture into anything else. It’s a plate full of Butterball turkey slices & dressing, with mashed potatoes all smothered with a tasty turkey gravy and some cranberry sauce on the side. Mmmmmm, dressing and gravy… nectar of the holiday gods, I say. Don’t be afraid to tell ‘em to smother the plate in gravy, either, they’ll be glad to do it, and you’ll be glad you let ‘em. For my two sides I usually order mac n’ cheese and mac n’ cheese. If you’re going to fall into the sin of calorie excess, I say go all in and roll the dice baby. While I don’t eat desserts or sweets, Perkins is known for their big selection of freshly made pies, which has never failed to get a rave review from family members who order a slice. Of course chowing down on this platter requires getting home as fast as I can to sleep it off on the couch, just as I do every Thanksgiving afternoon. Thank goodness it’s less than 5 minutes away or I’d be taking a nap at every stoplight on the way home. As much as I never thought I’d say it, call me a shameless fan of this turkey and dressing platter. Atmosphere: 4 Service: 5 Food: 4 Value: 4
