Country Inn & Suites by Carlson-Dundee

Clean rooms, friendly, courteous staff. The pool & spa were a great way to relax after 400+miles jeep trip. Breakfast was genuinely a bonus & the friendly breakfast room staff was continuously checking & refilling food options right up to the cut off time. Did I mention how clean everything was! For those concerned w/​thin walls… travel w/​earplugs & a good nights sleep is all yours.

Had to make an unexpected stop here about a month ago, on the way to my sister’s bridal shower. I was on an eight or nine hour drive, and just got on the road a little later than I intended to. Around 1 a.m. I simply had to stop, even though I was close to him. Julie was staffing the desk on the overnight shift and was just lovely. She was the perfect mix of friendly and efficient, clearly realizing it was late and I was tired and anxious to drop into my absolutely luxurious bed. The lobby has a homey theme, but the rooms are modern and comfortable. The bed was absolutely to die for, one of the most comfortable hotel beds I’ve ever been. Overall wonderful experience, I would choose this place again for a longer stay anytime.

, and I would generally agree… however, our room (102 specifically) must have been a prior smoking room, because the carpet/​walls still smell of nicotine. It wasn’t enough to cause us to complain, as the hotel was otherwise full and we’ve been driving all day, but it was kind of a put-​off. I’d rate it at ³⁄₅ for that reason.

Had a great stay the staff was very accommodating, I had booked online and stated we needed a roll a way, it was already in our room when we got here. The only two things I would complain about is the pillows were very flat and the carpet in the room is extremely ugly. I would stay here again if I was in town.
