I’ve been eating food from Filleti’s open in the Merritt Park shopping center for over 50 years. The whole family worked there, the Mom and Dad and the two Filleti boys. Eventually mom and dad retired to Florida and the sons continued. The older brother open a shop on Sollers Pt Rd. but close some years later. The younger brother continued to operate the Merritt Shopping Center location and I assume the younger brother has retired too. I use the Merritt Manor store because they deliver. The order is always right and delivery is less than 30 minutes. Can’t rate the pizza because I order the same thing. Cheese steak, provolone or American, everything, no lettuce, extra fried onions, and a large fry. Fries are now crinkle cuts which are the best. I gave them only 4 stars because the sub roll is a generic type like you would get in the grocery store and the cheese lacks significant flavor. I always get hot peppers but can’t taste them sometimes. Pizza Johns is still the gold standard but Filleti’s is worth trying and remain a Dundalk food icon.

Love. Love. Love this place. I always ask for pizza to be well done with extra sauce. Best crust I’ve found in the area. Always courteous and fast.

The wings are THEBEST in Baltimore. The pizza is the BEST in Maryland and I say that with total confidence as I’m a pizza snob. Seriously. If you f*** with my pizza, you might as well piss on my doorstep. It feels the same way and I think I’d prefer the latter. I’ve also had their broccoli bites and FINALLY someone in Baltimore knows wtf a broccoli bite is. Their chicken parm sub, chicken tender meal, french fries, salad, dessert… Okay, thats it. I’m off to order filettis now. Bye!

This used to be my favorite place, but lately it’s not so good. I ordered lunch for my husband and I, to go. When I got home the bag had ripped because of the grease! How can I say this? The steak on the cheesesteak subs tasted OLD! It had an almost sour taste! I couldn’t even eat half of it. This was the worst cheesesteak sub I have ever gotten from Filletti’s.

My co-worker ordered from here, and I gave in. I got a cheesesteak sub with fries. Not the best cheesesteak I’ve ever had, but it was pretty damn good. They also get bonus points for delivering to my office… not many delivery places come here. Anyway, the subs had a ridiculous amount of meat, enough to make another sandwich. After reading some of the reviews, I’ll probably try the pizza next time.

They have a good pizza pie .But they are the go to DUNDALK cheesesteak sub shop taking the crown away CAPT’N HARVEY’s since it was sold. They have been tied first/second with Dundalk locals for years the differece in subs being that Harvey’s meat being sliced and only having american cheese and Filetti’s being chopped(philly style) and you could get a PROVOLONE cheesesteak. The size difference maybe a 1 or 2 ounces and Filletti’s only sells half subs. . If you liked Capt. Harvey’s and long for a truly OVERSTUFF cheesesteak sub loaded with meat Filetti’s is the shop.

It’s hard to find a good Philly-style«Cheesesteak». With the aid of Unilocal,I discovered Filleti’s. I had been driving by this place for a few short years now and probably would have never stopped in – had I not seen the positive reviews for this place. This is the kind of place that I would love to hang out as a teenager… great food, casual relaxed atmosphere, TV to watch, and near the bowling alley! The staff seem friendly and helpful enough. I ordered a half cheesesteak and slice… for under $ 9 — which I thought was very reasonable for this day and age. The pizza is unique because the sauce is different — it’s not the standard Sysco pizza sauce. The crust isn’t all that exciting, however, the sauce and cheese make this slice worth eating. The cheesesteak was above average. What stood out the most was the flavor of the fried onions. The sub roll was good, but no rival for jersey shore roll or amaroso rolls. Would definitely stop by again, when in the neighborhood.

I just tried this place for the first time today. A lot of places around here serve a thicker crust pizza & I’ve been searching for a thinner one. Finally I found it! It hit the spot. The smallest they had was a 12″. But it was great, the pizza didn’t taste plastic either. I just got a cheese pizza, fries, and garlic bread. I asked for it all slightly well done & they listened and cooked it perfect. I will say tho, they don’t tell you the garlic bread comes with cheese on it, and the way they pack it togo in foil, it peels the cheese off when you open it. The employees were nice & had good customer service. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is 1: the place, and bathroom, was falling apart & a little dirty. I wouldn’t sit on the toilet. And 2, when I walked out of the bathroom, one of the guys behind the counter burped so loud I could hear him from the back of the store. A female employee said something about it & there being a female in the store. He just played it off. I could care less if someone burps, but it really was not professional at all. All in all tho, I’d def go back for the food.

I love Filetti’s pizza! Extra sauce and extra cheese, and I couldn’t be happier. They also have great subs and sandwiches. All around this place can’t be beat.

This is a childhood favorite of mine. I’ve always been a Filleti’s guy over Captain Harvey(the Dundalk War). And now that Captain Harvey’s isn’t even close to what it used to be, there is no competition. These are my favorite Cheese Steaks in BALTIMORE! Not just Dundalk. I haven’t lived in a Dundalk for some time now and made a trip last night(been 2 years or so). Man, did it hit the spot. My girlfriend and I remembered how much we missed having them in a delivery area. The key is to get the bread toasted, so it doesn’t get soggy from the deliciousness inside! I prefer light fried onions, provolone and whatever fixin’s you care for. I’m telling you, you won’t be upset. I highly suggest a side of cheese fries(ask for nacho cheese on the fries) to wash down the cheesesteak with! Lol. Not something I’ll eat every week, but if my doctor told me it was fine, I’d be there every other day. If you’re looking for an awesome cheese steak, good service and a reasonable price — make a stop! Good to see the Adam’s Family Pinball Machine is still there. And now they have TV’s so I was able to watch the O’s play while we ate. They even changed the channel for me!

Completely agree with Michael F. In my mind, the Filetti’s steak & provolone with mushrooms is the best cheesesteak around! The fries are also fantastic, and made to order. The staff and owner have always been fast, efficient, and friendly. The owner’s dad used to greet many of the customers, and we loved hearing his stories. He will be missed!

Why do I work out 5 days a week? So I can eat delicious cheese steaks from Filetti’s. My gym is almost next door to this place, so I’ll hit it for a cheese steak sub occassionaly. They are awesome, juicy and huge. Very fresh tasting. The pizza is pretty damn good too. Prices are average and they deliver. Two thumbs up for Filetti’s !
