Food was average, we were not expecting otherwise. Food took awhile due to a new cook in training, they gave us a nice discount even though we didn’t complain. It was nice that the waitress and manager agreed on that.

Great breakfast for two hungry travelers. Fast food delivery and great service. I always expect a good value quality meal at most Perkins, and have yet to b disappointed. The Duluth spot stands up.

What’s to say… its one of the few spots you can actually go to late at night in Duluth on a Sunday (at least in winter). We were in Duluth for Christmas and went out for dinner late (9pm). Pickwick’s was closed, Fitger’s was closed, Grandma’s was closed, everything around us within walking distance (staying at canal park) was closed. I finally remembered there was a Perkins over by Edgewater and they are usually 24/​7, so off we went. Waitress was nice, there were college kids there, food was served quickly, and kids were fed and happy. That’s all I cared about. Consider it like eating at Denny’s because you have to, and be done with it. Not my first choice, but if we are ever in that situation again, we’ll at least not go hungry.

The vegetable medley should be renamed 9 – 5 as there were 9 small carrots and 5 small broccoli flowerettes, and for $ 3 side charge. It was nothing like the picture on the menu.
Other food pretty blaaaa. Go across the street to the Blackwoods.

Stopped by here with my wife before Grandma’s Marathon. We had gone to college in Duluth, and this was a regular hangout for us. So it was great to be back…
That said, not much has changed. The restaurant is HUGE, and does get very busy for weekend breakfasts. It is, during the college months, open 24 hours and certainly caters to that crowd.
As for the food & the service, it’s standard. Nothing overly fantastic. The servers are friendly enough, but not overly friendly. The food is ok, but certainly nothing you couldn’t get at a regular diner.
You could do a lot worse for breakfast than stopping here. But you could certainly do a lot better.

You can always count on a good breakfast, anytime of the day. Sometimes the other entrees suffer from dryness or lack flavor. But for medium price you get a solid breakfast consistently.
