Great Blueberry Pancakes (suggest you get the order of 5 and ask for hot syrup.) Very disappointed PERKINS does not carry Sweet n Low — apparently Equal has an exclusive here. Strongly urge PERKINS to meet the needs and wants of ALL of the customers (and not just rep the companies who offer the biggest $incentives…). In spite of that issue, Bobby did a good job for us and Manager Jimmy was nice. Recommend for breakfast (but byosnlow).

Great food and a friendly helpful staff, love going to Perkins

Came across Perkins while on a road trip from Rochestor to Duluth while looking for a quick bite. Place was clean, and we were seated right away. The server was friendly, answered our questions patiently and food arrived quickly. Their menu offers quite a few traditional brunch options. I had a waffle which was delicious, and of perfect consistency. Portion size was quite large. They also offer a large variety of pies and being my sweet tooth couldn’t resist trying one. the caramel apple pie was yummy. My friends lemon meringue pie however was uninspired and had enough whipped cream to clog a coronary.

This Perkins location has decent food. It is one of the better eating establishments in the mall area, which is pretty sad to say.
The food is reasonably priced and the portions range from good sized to large. Right now they have a limited time summer menu which includes some Black and Blueberry multi-​grain nut pancakes. They were good. I didn’t come across any nuts in them, but the black and blueberry part was good. They also have a shrimp vegetable pasta, which by the description and picture appear appetizing. Their omelets are ok. They used to be much better. They eliminated their best flavors, but you can always build your own omelet if their options aren’t too exciting to you.
If you are looking for great and friendly service for your Perkins dining experience, this is probably not the best location to choose… at least not today. The hostess didn’t make any eye contact and just monotonously said her lines. The server just wanted to write down the orders as fast as possible and throw down the bill on the table as soon as she brought the food. She wasn’t in the mood for any alterations to items on the menu and she certainly couldn’t be bothered for a refill on drinks or coffee. If flagged down and asked, she would just say «sure» and not return.

Favorite place to come with my brother. He loves the menu with pictures and always has the waffle. Yum.
