I take my mom here time to time. She is one of those people you could give her everything, and she would find something to complain about. But no complaints when we go here. Cheers to having a go to place to take the Birth-​giver.

Went to dinner with a few friends, but wasn’t really sure what to expect. Theme I was ample, they seem to have a bit of different types of cuisine to choose from: Chinese, Thai & even some Japanese (sushi menu). Everything that our table ordered was GREAT. ordered a bowl of egg drop soup. I am very particular about the soup, often times the soup is very oily, but this was great. It came with a side of crispy wonton strips. My husband ordered the crunch rolls & said they were amazing. Several of us ordered the sesame chicken, I got fried rice. The sesame chicken was PERFECT. The glaze was not too overpowering & the skin was crispy, not burnt & had no hint of oil.
The portions were large enough for two people to share. I will definitely be visiting again.

This is not your standard Chinese restaurant. Every time I eat here (once a week), I’m impressed with the fresh ingredients and care and perfection the chef’s give to cooking and presenting my meal. I enjoy the classic Chinese and Thai dishes and looking forward to trying the sushi. I also enjoy the upscale ambiance with romantic low lighting great for date night and an impressive wine display case from floor to ceiling. Franciscan by the glass, btw! Or, try the new Moscow Mule from the bar. It’s also fun for families that want to explore new flavors and spices in a relaxed atmosphere. If you want fast & cheap, go to Buford Hwy. If you want superior food in an upscale setting, a great customer experience, come here!

This is a great place to have date night. The décor inside is really impressive from the bamboo shoot walls to the Calcutta soldier display. This is definitely not a fast food, Chinese take out place. The servers were friendly and efficient, and the manager stopped by to make sure we were enjoying our meal.
I definitely recommend the crab rangoon and lettuce wraps for appetizers. They also have wine specials with a wall full of selections (literally).

This place is a neighborhood favorite. I always get the pad kee mao here and it’s the best I’ve had anywhere. The noodles are cooked perfectly and the flavor is rich without being heavy or oily. The spicy mango chicken is also insanely good. My friends and I always get the lettuce wrap to share and it never disappoints. Like everyone else has said, the portions are quite large — more often than not, I take home leftovers.
The ambience of this spot is another huge plus. The interior is beautiful! It’s much much nicer, cleaner and more spacious than your typical Chinese restaurant. Staff is always friendly and helpful.

Incredibly unhelpful manager — i was sent an order of tangerine beef and they delivered a dish of broccoli with a side of beef. I’ve been ordering from this restaurant for years always delivery and typically spending over $ 50. I’ve never called to complain — and the one time there is a problem — they would not acknowledge the mistake. The online mobile menu does not have any mention of broccoli at all. Manager blamed the menu on a vendor and still offered no apology or path to resolution. His answer is that i’ll probably have a problem on the next time too. Check the records — this is not a recurring issue. So he is loosing $ 500/​yr. customer for a credit of $ 15 was his choice. Ownership be advised — your management team is making bad business decisions for your establishment. We also always tip 20% on delivery. Wow. Just so so so short sighted.

TL;DR — Great atmosphere, bit high price but large portions
Mrs and I were in the mood for some Thai food so we decided to check out Pearl Lian Oriental Bistro.
Upon walking in, we were really impressed by how amazing their décor was. It was an Asian décor with a modern twist.
As per food, we ordered Pad Thai, Pad See Ew, Fried Calamari, and a pot of tea.
Pad Thai and Pad see ew were better than most of places I’ve tried, frankly they were even better than Thai Restaurant of Norcross in my opinion. As mentioned above, Pearl Lian’s prices were a bit steep but their portion and taste definitely made it worth it.
Fried Calamari was little too chewy for my liking but wife seemed to like it.
All in all, it was a great experience and will come back next time we’re in the mood for some Thai food.

Sorry, but it doesn’t live up to all the hype. Mediocre American style Chinese food. A cheap take-​out joint would’ve impressed me more than this stuff. Way too expensive for what these folks are selling. Sorry.

The place is awesome for impressing a date visually. Add a fun conversation and humor and you’re guaranteed a second date. Places like these are important for those purposes. But when food is more important than those I mentioned, then go somewhere else. Food is not bad. I ordered their top two items on the menu, which the waiter recommended as the most popular dishes. Sweet sour chicken and Mongolian triple. Plate presentation was excellent but I had better in some really good Chinese buffet restaurant. I mean, sweet and sour chicken is a standard on which all chinese restaurant can be measured against. But theirs came out average. Again, it all depends on what you came here for. It is not a bad place. Unfortunately, I came to try the food that day. So none of the fancy décor or the see through kitchen area or the ancient Terra Cotta army display mattered to me. But if you’re interviewing or pitching an idea or impressing your boss or future in law or trying to lure a new potential client, I would recommend this place. Just make sure none of them are foodies. My dates were impressed tho — my kids. One more gripe. I wish the waiter didn’t have a strong smell of cigarette on him/​her. Smell is a huge part of eating, and that strong cigarette smell didn’t help my appetite for the already average food.
Which is why I give them a food lovers average rating of 2.5. But I’ll round it up to a 3 just because of the Terra Cotta army display and the open view kitchen area.

I have passed this restaurant many times, but never thought to stop by because I was under the impression it was going to be too expensive. When I finally tried this palace I was very surprised to find that it is affordably priced. The interior takes you back immediately when you enter. There is an art display with terra cotta warriors and the lighting in the dining area is absolutely beautiful. The food turned out to be great as well, with a solid mixture of choices. Our waiter was a bit odd with his entrance and exit, mysteriously appearing and disappearing. Even so, he was attentive which we appreciated. Definitely want to come back here and try the food again!

We came for lunch and were impressed how nice the interior looks, it’s a pretty big restaurant and I was jokingly saying to my wife that I don’t expect it to be a cheap experience. We were surprised to find a very reasonably priced menu with tons of choices. $ 8 for most lunch items. Good price good food good décor and good service. It’s not so easy to find these days…

Beautiful restaurant! All made by the owner with many unique details imported from China. Whoa! –an onyx bar!
The food is great too. I had a spicy tuna hand roll, super good and the General Tso’s chicken was probably the best I’ve ever had.
Awesome service too. The Sopporo on tap is an added bonus.
Go here, you won’t be disappointed.

Idk if it was only my order but the sesame chicken was watery and not too flavorful .crab rangoons were a lil burnt and had very little inside goodness
The brown rice was good though.
It was my «cheat day» n I shoulda got Panda Express cause that woulda prob been better ha

This place is very beautiful inside and super close to my office; most of our business lunches take place here.
We were seated promptly upon arriving and the hostess was quite nice. Our serve knew his stuff. We ordered three different dishes and it all came out within twenty minutes. I had the panang curry with chicken and brown rice and it was delicious. I do wish the peppers and other vegetables were chopped a little smaller, but all in all delicious. My coworkers ordered the chicken with broccoli and the pad Thai with chicken. They both looked great and I had a hard time keeping my fork off their plates.
As far as pricing, I think it’s quite affordable considering the area and the way the restaurant is decorated and furnished.
