Spending 3 nights here on our move to Florida and visit family in the area. Chose La Quinta because they except pets. This La Quinta is awesome! Clean, friendly staff, wonderful maid! I think her name is Molina? They have a nice workout room and everything else you might need. The morning breakfast is fresh and tasty. The area is convenient to 85 and places to eat. Also feel it is a very safe area. Would definitely recommend! We will stay here again if needing a hotel in the area. Even if we don’t have our pet with us we will choose this La Quinta.

I’ve been to other La Quinta Inns in different states and this one is buy far is the worst. While it does appear clean, it does have issues. Let’s start with the bathroom: the door seems to have been kicked in and the door jamb was patched up instead of being replaced. The door knob is loose and the shower curtain is loose(which actually came off while my wife was taking a shower). Actually, one shower curtain rod bracket is cracked and the other is pulling through the Sheetrock. Beds feel like a brick and window curtain looks like Wolverine came and shredded them. One last thing, even though it is winter, the pool should be kept clean. There are leaves all over it and in the bottom of the pool. This is more an appearance thing. If they don’t keep it clean now, what do they do during the summer? Never again.

The price was right, the location was good, the hotel is clean, but it had some small problems. First, we reserved a king room online through Priceline, and when we checked in, they didn’t have any king rooms to give us. They reduced the rate of our room and gave us a double room. No big deal. Then, we asked for a taxi to take us to Gwinnett Arena, and the lady at the desk gave us the number to a limo service. He came in a small Nissan and charged us $ 15 to take us 0.6 miles. I know, because we walked back to the hotel after the concert. Third, the breakfast was alright, not great. They didn’t have any bacon(they ran out) and the eggs were weird egg patty things. I would have liked scrambled eggs instead. They had lots of things to choose from though, so it wasn’t that big of a deal. Overall, I would probably stay here again. It’s the best price in the area if you’re seeing a concert at Gwinnett Arena. And Waffle House is a block away from the hotel.
